"The regular monthly clean up promise to be performed at least 4 times a month, but they only came 3 time max. So the yard was always a mess in the fall when the leaves fall a lot. This place got 350 customers in the area (according to the manager), so I assumed they're really understaffed and can't provide the maintenance as promised, or even returning your phone calls. I even got charged for half a month of service when they only came to clean the yard once. Would not recommend to anyone.

"From the outset, we were impressed by Starkie Brothers' professionalism. First of all, a live person actually answered their business phone and, on the spot, set up an appointment for a consultation and estimate. The woman we spoke with was polite, warm and competent. John Starkie came out to our house several days later, listened to our wish list, surveyed the area and wrote up a detailed estimate. Mr. Starkie is a personable fellow but more importantly, he is a straight shooter. We liked him from the beginning and our instincts were proven to be correct. He wrote up our estimate on a Friday, by the following Tuesday our project was complete. He organized and coordinated everything: the scheduling of the cement mixer and the power washer to interface with his own technicians and move the project along most efficiently. It was a pleasure working with Starkie Brothers. We've already recommended them to several of our neighbors who've complimented the work we had done and we fully intend to employ their services in the future.

I called around getting estimates from so many companies and a lot of them were horribly price gouging in the middle of the aftermath of a hurricane. I called Tielis and the person who picked up was incredibly nice and professional. "I have been burned in the past with contractors working on my drainage nightmare in my backyard with promises and a lot of money given with temporary if not 0 results and wasted money. When Tom came to my house I told him this and he assured me that his company was different and they would solve my 5 year drainages issue. He was right and I can’t believe how my backyard looks and drains without any issues. Tom and his team were amazing, professional, thorough and unbelievably fast. After they finished I would check my backyard during a rainstorm and look in amazement that it finally happened! No more water issues. Also Tom kept checking as well and made sure even a month after they completed the job that I was happy and that no issues came up. I would recommend this company all day every day.
