Recent Review: Being from England I know a high-quality retractable awning when I see one. I moved to Chicago from the UK and decided to install a retractable awning at my house. I looked at many reviews on this website and others and came to the conclusion that a retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] was the obvious choice. Installed now for 4 1/2 years and have not had a single problem with it and don't expect to. We love it and use it frequently in the spring and summer months. My wife and I have only praise for the gents at Retractableawnings.com and commend them on offering high-quality European products, providing great service and a terrific 25-year non-prorated warranty. Recent Review: I was working out of state so I contacted Bay Area Roofers for an estimate on replacing my roof after the hail storm, I had a couple of estimates, most were higher and I just didn't get a good vibe from them. I chose Bay Area Roofers to do the work, I liked the way Nathan responded and explained how it would all work - i felt like he was someone I could trust. I worked with Nathan over the phone and over email since I was out of state. I arranged to come home for the repairs so timing was crucial. They showed up and started to work as scheduled and completed the work in a couple of days. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves. They took care of all the permits, engineering and Windstorm. Nathan also recommended changing my ridge vent as it was not put in correctly when I had the house built in 2001, he did that work for no extra charge. I was great doing business with Nathan and his crew. I'd highly recommend them to anyone! As a matter of fact, I contacted them to do a attached patio cover. This is a great company to do business with, very professional.

Recent Review: We hired Dan and his team to do a full remodel of our master bathroom, which was still the original bathroom from 1983 when the house was built. The whole bathroom was slate blue, including the tub and toilet, and was covered in dated tile and leaking. Dan came to take a look and gave us a quote on the spot which he stuck to throughout the project. They gutted the bathroom and rebuilt it from the floor up including installing new masonry boards to make the floor even and stable. They rebuilt the shower, bathtub frame, retiled everything, installed new shower, whirlpool tub, new plumbing, new vanity and toilet. They also painted the walls, cabinets and doors for us for free after we decided we didn’t want to do it ourselves mid project. Dan went tile shopping with me and helped me pick what would work best for our bathroom. Everyone in his crew was professional, fast and did excellent quality work. We were told it would take two weeks and it was as completely done within that time frame (actually it only took 12 days). The bathroom came out beautifully and we love it. Best part was Dan himself - he’s awesome! Super friendly and fun to be around and he knows his craft. He was here everyday working with his crew. Definitely an expert and we learned a lot from him. Would highly recommend S-N-S Remodeling and plan to call him when we are ready for our next project.

Recent Review: Blake was the consummate professional. Showed up on time each day and got the job done. He even cam on a Saturday to redo the shower plumbing in order to raise it a bit to accommodate my height. Job took about a week since I had some wet areas that needed to dry.

Recent Review: Their workers- Carlo and Alfredo- were extremely polite and courteous, just like the owners, quietly and diligently going about their work without needing anything at all. Full Disclosure: Given that we’ve hired 100s pf contractors for various work since 1977, those decades of experience allow us to profess without hesitation that Tru Blue did the absolute best of them all on all fronts: They were timely, VERY Reasonably priced for Retired Seniors, went above and beyond in terms of researching designs, and even helped dispose of old leftover supplies left behind after decades of use. We will certainly make them the First/Only company we call for random handyman jobs needed around our house in the future. I just wish that they were also listed on Yelp, so that I could submit my positive Review for them there..

Recent Review: Otto Remodeling did an amazing job. They made new doors for my cabinets, painted and stained them an antique white....beautiful! I loved working with Otto and his team, they know what they are doing when it comes to cabinets. They had great suggestions and made my island a centerpiece. I could not be happier. I will definitely use them in the future for other projects.

Recent Review: I enjoyed getting to work with Judah and his team! After requesting an estimate from 5 other contractors in houston, they were the first to respond and the easiest to work with. I appreciated their transparency and accuracy regarding time and cost. They did a renovation on my garage turning it into a fully functional bedroom. Flooring, sheet rock/ insulation, paint, and walk-in closet. They finished ahead of schedule and exceeded my expectations. Will be working with them again soon for some exterior painting.

Recent Review: I am extremely pleased with the installation of my three shade sails over my pool and hot tub. Rudy and his crew were knowledgeable, friendly and some of the best in the business. My back yard looks like a water park! This company is quick to reply via text or phone call. The job is not complete until it’s absolutely perfect. These are some of the nicest people you could meet. Pricing was more than fair. I would highly recommend and refer these guys any day. They do painting, flooring, siding, drywall, assembly fencing and decking too. I am Just so happy with how this job turned out.

Recent Review: The work crew started on the day agreed and returned daily until the job was complete. Workers were experienced and completed the work in the time originally estimated. There was a slight miscommunication between the proprietor and work team regarding the dimensions of the awning connecting the house to the carport, resulting in walkway that was slightly wider than had been bid. This necessitated relocation of a vent pipe, requiring the expertise of the proprietor to solve that problem in plane geometry. Cleanup after the job was adequate, but significantly, they did not run a magnet over the ground where roofing nails were dropped; relying instead on a visual inspection each evening to find most of the nails.

Recent Review: The entire process, from the ordering to the installation, to the absolutely amazing results went perfect, thanks to the recommendations of the company owner, Ron! The awning was rather large! 18’ wide, projection was the max 12’ and installed 11’ high! Fabulous results! We love it, partially or fully extended depending on the need of the day!

Recent Review: The driveway took 4 days to complete. The old driveway was broken up and cleared from the jobsite on Day 1.The forms for the driveway, patio and walkway to front door were constructed and sand and rebar were putdown on Day 2. The new concrete was poured on Day 3. The forms were removed and final clean up of jobsite was made on Day 4. Another crew came after the driveway was completed. They removed old siding down to studs. They repaired some termite damage and replaced the sill plate and several studs that were handing by nails. In other words, they were not supporting anything.The crew pointed out several things (like the termite damage) and explained the extra steps they had to complete so that the house had the support it needs. They communicated with me and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had.They started working at 8 AM each day and left when the jobsite was cleaned up (usually 6:00 PM). Several of the neighbors commented on how neat the crew made the jobsite each day. I am very pleased with work done by Home Exterior Systems and will use their services again if the need arises.

Recent Review: So far Troy has done the following: Picked up a new back door from Bison's Building Supply that I ordered, installed the door, installed new hardware, locks, deadbolt, re-did all the outside trim for the door, caulked and painted. Installed a new heavy polycarbonate roofing panels to replace an old rotten patio cover. He found a great new color, that I did not know even existed, an orange/red brick color that matched my house beautifully. He picked up and installed a new storm door and lock for my front door. While he was installing the new storm door, he noticed the doorbell needed to be replaced and did that also. He replaced rotten trim around the front door, painted the new trim and repaired the threshold. Everything he has done has been the finest workmanship. He has had to come out late, on Saturday and Sunday to finish up several things because of my hectic work schedule. He is very accommodating to your work schedule. In the past, I worked for a custom building company for 15 years and I must say, he is someone I would have sent out to do warranty work on million dollar homes. Professional, courtesy and a good work ethic. He takes pride in his work. I still have a few things on my list, however, we must wait until the weather warms up a little. He is very sought after, so be patient if he can't call or email you back the day you submit your request. He will get back within a couple of days. He is worth waiting for, you won't be disappointed. He does a great deal of work for past clients, that says everything. People use him repeatedly and recommend him to neighbors, family and friends. He stays busy ALL THE TIME.
