I honestly don't know if I can express how impressed I was with Jim Hays and Co. I based my decision solely on the reviews from the company that had a LARGE number of reviews and the 9 that were submitted on Jim's company. I did not see a single complaint over pricing, all the reviews were positive and reassuring. We lost power to the heat pump leaving the inside of our house warmer than the outside temp. I called Jim's number and explained all the steps I took to eliminate and troubleshoot on my own. The fuse in the handler was good, breakers were good too, everything looked good from a non HVAC professionals point of view. Jim gave me Jeff's number, his son. I called Jeff and gave him the down and dirty. He was at a job and could get to us in the evening, he was in the middle of installing a unit when I called. I then rec'd a text from Jeff stating that he can meet me at our house at 2:00 instead of 5:00 as we agreed upon, that is HUGE in my book, earlier than later. When I got home, he was already diagnosing the problem, running up into the attic and me following. I asked him if I could listen to what he was explaining to Taylor, she has been with the company learning for, I think about 3 years. That was impressive, not being thrown into the fire like other HVAC companies after the tech "graduates" from HVAC school out there trying to sell upgrades that really aren't needed. I asked for some business cards so I could keep, good, honest and fair companies are hard to find. Jeff figured out what the problem was, the "idiot", me, who installed the thermostat 2.5 years ago, cut the red "hot" line by mistake when I installed the thermostat. Jeff in a matter of minutes performed magic, replaced the faceplate, ran up in the attic and twisted wires, replaced the wire nuts and all of a sudden the unit kicked on. We went outside and he tested the pressure, and explained what his displays were showing him. At no point did he give the classic upcharge line of, "you need freon", being truthful and honest will win me over every time. I have never had such a pleasant experience in my life! My last house in Winchester I paid for freon and then they told me I have a crack in the copper. EES&CE Inc will be coming out to repair our gas fireplace in the fall. They were a joy to have them in our house this afternoon. I plan on using them for other repairs I care not to take on. I know I rambled on raving about Jim and Jeff but you WILL NOT be disappointed by selecting them over the other contractors in the area. Jeff's professionalism won me over and will win you over too.

Mikutin Enterprise exceeded my expections. The electrician, who happened to be the owner, arrived several minutes early. He immediately installed 30A service for my camper and wired my circuit box to accommodate my generator. Also all of my wiring for my television were neatly redirected behind the television. I could not believe the competitive pricing of Mikutin Enterprise. I would recommend Mikutin Enterprise to anyone seeking quality, reasonably priced electrical services.

This was my first time using this approach for a home repair. Bob (Bear Mechanical Plumber) was very friendly, and displayed a lot of knowledge and experience as we discussed what I needed to have repaired. He successfully removed my old kitchen faucet hose ((which was leaking) and installed a new hose that I had procured from the original faucet manufacturer. He finished his work by operating the faucet and verifying no leaks were present, and the hose functioned as intended. He cleaned as he worked and even showed me the worn areas in the old hose that were contributing to the leaks. I appreciated his good work ethic and attention to detail. To top all of this off, my bill was even less than I was quoted on the phone as I began my search for a plumber. I will definitely call Bear Mechanical and ask for Bob again. Tim Ludlow

Evergreen Heating and Air is by far the best contractor we have worked with so far. Very communicative, responsive, and open to all costs and procedures. Not only did they do the work to repair and replace our air handler, but they left our attic crawlspace better than they found it and reran duct work to maximize storage space. I highly recommend Evergreen for any HVAC work or maintenance. We will call them again for maintenance in the future.

Woke up Saturday morning and realized we had no heat. Called James who immediately answered and arrived in about 1 hour. Checked everything out, to include going underneath the house in the crawl space. Diagnosed the problem which resulted in replacing the thermostat. He noticed that I was a vet and automatically gave me a discount. Great job, great service and I will use Mayer for both yearly maintenance and any HVAC problems that come up.

Our downstairs furnace stopped working on a very cold day. Mark, the owner came out when promised, diagnosed the problem, went out to get the needed part, returned and completed the repair. All done in less than one day. Very professional and courteous service!

He came today and completed the job that has been holding up progress on our master bath remodel for 2 weeks! He also installed a [insert cool name of the thing that hooks the generator to the electric panel] fantastic thing to have RIGHT before the next storm. Seriously, he is professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, super communicative and ON TIME! So so happy!!! Found my electrician for any future projects! ð
