In spite of the wet weather & access issues they had to deal with, the guys did a great job on the patio & sidewalk concrete work & on the interlocking stone wall. The finishing details on the patio & walkway were exemplary & perhaps some of, if not the best I have seen. I had other contractors working on other projects in the house, & they too were impressed with the job that they did. I would highly recommend Thorp Construction & would most definitely hire them again.

We hired Fleming Contracting to build a substantial two level deck with an integrated hot tub beginning in January 2021 and completed in early March 2021. We initially met Steve in June 2020 and were very impressed with is responsiveness, creativity, and apparent integrity in the work he does. I called multiple references and received excellent feedback. We had architect plans drawn so that we were all working from the same page. Steve was willing to meet with the architect and consulted the drawings throughout the job. Multiple times he would ask us to look at something as he would have a better idea than what was on paper. We appreciated the pride he took in the work, his reliability in showing up (even on freezing cold February days), and excellent communication with us throughout. Steve is a rarity in the construction business. We were nervous as we had a horrible experience with a different contractor about 5 years prior to starting the deck. Steve was very reassuring, understood our position, and remained true to everything he said he'd do. One of the best events during the project was Steve asking us what we were doing with the space under the elevated deck level, we said we didn't know. He was worried about water issues and suggested a concrete pad. The cost was super fair, the work was excellent. We chose to do an exposed aggregate concrete pad, it looks beautiful. This is now one of our absolute favorite areas of the deck, everyone just raves about it. Since this job, Steve has helped my family in multiple ways with other small projects or being willing to make a recommendation. We love our deck, it is gorgeous and has totally changed the way we live in our home. We are so appreciative for Steve, his leadership of his crews, his resourcefulness, and constant attention to detail. Brad did an excellent job on our hot tub pad. We kept adding to the project with steps and a couple retaining walls. He gave us ideas and really did an excellent job! I would highly recommend him. Heâ s honest and shows up when he says heâ s going to and his pricing is really fair.

A rare breed of contractor who takes what you asked for and blows it out of the water. We had Mark and his crew remove an old wooden deck and install a stamped concrete patio in it's place. Mark was there doing the work with his men every day, he showed up when he said he would, they were all very professional, and the final result was better than my expectations. They didn't skimp out on the details or make us feel like we were stupid for asking questions, plus Mark would give us his professional opinion on how our ideas would actually play out. I had other estimates done and not only was he cheaper than other quotes, but also the quality of the work he provided was immaculate, and anything that I need adjusted he was more than flexible.

The crew did an exceptional job. The got along well and described everything they would do and why. They never complained and even told me about problems with the pipes leading to and from my septic tank. They could have just laid the concrete and not have mentioned the problem but with my ok went ahead and fixed the pipes before continuing so I wouldn't need to tear the new driveway up to repair them in the future. They were very courteous and cleaned up along the way, always on time when promised and answered every question I had. Would recommend this company to everybody. You won't be sorry. My drive looks absolutely amazing and will definitely give his phone number to others looking for this type of work

I interviewed 3 people involving concrete and tying in a french drain and he explained everything in such a way that it was very detailed very good. I was so impressed with him that I have hired him for 5 other jobs. He goes above and beyond. Sometimes he'll tie in small jobs into the larger project. I wish all contractors were like him. He is there on sight himself which is very important. He does not leave your job for someone elses job. He will stay until your job is done. Everything is out in detail on the contract. No unhappy surprises with him.

They replied soon after my contact and came over to look at the job. Gave me a price for the job and we then met to discuss the work. Kevin and his guys did a great job and worked with me on details. Very punctual, stayed on the job and got the work done as quickly as possible. I have had them do a couple of jobs for me and am very satisfied with the way things were handled and loved that Kevin worked on them and made sure that all was done properly.
