New York Tristate Area Floating Floor Installation

I didn't have a good experience. The floating floor was installed over an uneven slab floor, which made the floating floor crack. When they came back to fix the floating floor, they re-used pieces of the broken flooring, which did not fix or solve the problem. The polish job on the floors in the upstairs was not to my standard, (there were drip marks, some parts might have been over polished, and it looked uneven). I would not recommend Checkers Flooring to others.

RJO showed up on the date and time exactly as promised. He helped moving appliances out of the kitchen and then back when the floor was finished. Completed the job all in one day. Worked non stop, cut no corners and did everything right. The job went exactly as one would hope.

I recently purchased a new home that needed some updating. I called smart carpet to install a floating hardwood floor on my first level. The representative was awesome and knew exactly what I wanted. He said after the floors went in they would put new quarter round and there would be extra wood pieces incase something needed to be replaced down the line. On install day the two workers were great and explained everything to me. He said he would call me an hour before he was ready to wrap up because it was an all day project. When I arrived everything looked good. He showed me the remaining payment and our numbers were different. It turns out that the representative didn't do his math correctly. They also missed putting quarter round in certain places and left me with NO replacement wood. I mailed the check for the discrepancy and was told he would find out about the extra pieces and quarter round. Obviously my check was cashed and I didn't receive a phone call.... They did a great job and I bought quarter round for $2 at Home Depot (not a big deal). But don't tell me I will have extra pieces and I don't...and don't say you'll call me back to rectify the situation and you don't. I also think the money difference should have been picked up by smart carpet due to the problems and the representative's mistake. I would use them again, but double check everything!!

They came for an estimate very quickly. 1st Provided me a very reasonable price on the initial project but then I ended up getting the entire second floor done. Floor was installed beautifully. The guys that came did a great job and were efficient.

Cannot say enough of how much of a professional Ishmael is. From the start of the job to the finish he was a consummate professional. The apartment is a co-op and the board required a lot of information in order to approve the work. Ishmael was very responsive to all my request and promptly delivered all the documentation. He was also very responsive to all my questions and could easily be contacted whenever I had a question. His quote to do the job was reasonable and the job he did was excellent. I highly recommend his services and would not hesitate to hire him again for any future flooring needs.

It was a good experience overall. They were pretty responsive with working with us, and arranged a delivery to a custom location. The product was as advertised and was installed fairly easily.

I highly recommend D & L. They are knowledgeable, professional and do beautiful work. My basement floors were expertly installed with much attention to detail. They restored my hardwood floors a few months ago. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We contracted for a floating wood floor with owner. However, the workers installed a party glued floor. The workers were not on time and very disrespectful. When we stopped payment on the second installment due to incorrect work the owner Victor called us on the phone screaming and cursing at us. We attempted to explain to him that we contracted for a floating floor and we did not approve a half glued floor with big T floor moldings. Victor threatened us, became irate and refused to listen unless we parishes m the second of three installments.

They were very nasty and rude to deal with, and their prices were very high as well. Thus, I decided not to use them.

Incredible. Their team was incredible to work with, and their interactions with my family, was so nice. We are thinking of adding on to our home in the future, and will definitely turn to Viking to do the flooring for us when that time comes. A+++

Class Carpet, Floor and Home exceeded my expectations. They installed flooring for my bathroom, my entire main floor, and carpet for the stairs. The workers were extremely professional and the prices were more than fair! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of home improvement! It was a pleasant experience from start to end!

This is the second time we have had work done on our home by Korkmaz Rugs & Flooring. As always, it was a pleasure working with Deniz. We had some old carpeting removed from our basement (and the stairs) and the floors leveled for new flooring. After discussing what we wanted to accomplish, Deniz gave us several excellent suggestions. We selected a floating vinyl flooring that will stand up to the moisture in the basement but looks like hardwood floors. The floors look amazing and really makes our finished basement look like a nice family room. Korkmaz Flooring was professional, responsive and they did excellent work. Given how much work they did, the pricing was very fair. We will definitely use Korkmaz Flooring in the future.

Everyone made the experience pleasant. I purchase and had installed 3 carpets and found out they sold and installed floors as well and was ecstatic!! They installed my floors a few months ago and they look beautiful!!!

I had visited and priced flooring in approximately ten stores before I decided to use Richies. Though Home Depot had vinyl flooring that I liked and was not badly priced, the installation cost was ridiculous. The other vendors did not have the color I was looking for in vinyl planks. Ritchie was honest-and guaranteed his work. The floor was not cheap, but exactly what I wanted. Jimmy installed the floor. He first came to my apt., measured, looked at the job, and told me exactly what he was going to do. When he did the installation, he was professional, completed the job in a timely fashion, and when it was done, it was installed perfectly. They put molding around the floor, and left no gaps or holes around kitchen pipes. They moved all the appliances. I love my floor, I got the quality floor and installation I paid for. A word to the wise-don't cheap out. Home depot, other vendors, you will pay and the quality will not be there. I recommend Richies, for a quality job.

The crew came in and did a great job completing the job in a few hours. The floors look great and will use this company again in the future.
