These guys were professional in every way, and they sure don't mess around. They got in, did all the work we asked in about 5 hours (and it was a LOT!). They were super careful of existing gardens, trees, etc. Top-of-the-line quality work! We had them remove several dead trees, as well as clear out much of the Buckthorn from all the way around the house (we have a 1.7 acre lot)....when they were done, it looked like we had an entirely new yard....I couldn't believe how well they cleaned everything up as well. Awesome group of people, all the way from the beginning....the Estimate process, scheduling and all the way through the job. And by the way, the actual work came in under the original estimate. Excellent. Tyler and his crew removed an oak tree that was about 10 feet from my house, and was towering over the house. They arrived right on time at 8am, and were done with the removal of the tree, as well as trimming another tree, by about 11:30am. They had to use a crane and hoist the pieces of the oak over the house into the cul-de-sac, and then into the chipper. The larger limbs and trunk were laid on the lawn and collected a few days later. Before they left on day one, the debris was cleaned up very well. The stump was ground and the hole filled in about a week after the tree was removed. Tyler and his crew are experts at what they do, and I will most likely hire them again

Vineland was great to work with. Sam had to research the symptoms before providing an exact diagnosis and the bad news: untreatable, remove. Second opinion guessed at the problem and wanted a full-property care agreement, starting out with several hundred dollars for nonsense treatment. Third quote for removal was exorbitant. In the end, Vineland's removal quote was most competitive and they bent over backwards in terms of responsiveness to questions, scheduling, and special requests. Keith came to the house as promised for the estimate. The written estimate included tasks to be performed, the cost, and the tasks not covered (cleaning up after the stump grind). They showed up on time first thing Monday morning. A large crew of men arrived...about 6 guys. Each man had an assigned task for cutting and chipping the branches. The crew was well organized and were able to finish the job in a little more than 30 minutes. These guys were awesome

The nature of the business requires that you give owners of this type of company time to get back to you. Oftentimes, the owner is out in the field themselves. Also, there is the changing weather and of course the rush to do outdoor jobs given that weather. Be patient if you don't hear back absolutely immediately. Rob always answers back. They got right to work and in two hours they were all done and gone. They didn't have a stump grinder big enough for my stump, so the cost did not include stump grinding

We recieved quotes from several tree services. We chose Strong & Sons because they had the experience and equipment to do the work safely and efficiently with minimal damage to the yard. The company was recommended to us by our arborist and was given a high rating on Angie's List. They matched the quote of another well recommended company. On January 7, 2013, Sean Strong and his assistant arrived early in the morning. There was about 1 foot of snow on the ground. They had made necessary prior arrangements to have a cable removed by the power company. They maneuvered their portable track mounted aerial lift through our 4 foot gate into the back yard. Sean did all the sawing from the bucket of the aerial lift with the exception of the final cut at the base of the tree. Limbs were removed individually and piled in such a way as to facilitate later cleanup and handling by our family. The work took about 4 hours. On May 2, 2013, Sean and his assistant returned to grind the stump. He went down 6" below grade. We took care of the grindings ourselves as agreed. We were well satisified with the work and professionalism of Strong and Sons. Sean was genuinely interested in doing the job how and when we wanted it done. We would hire him again and recommend him to others

After getting a number of estimates for the work, we chose Elijah's Tree Service because of Elijah's attention to detail in the quote, the reasonableness of the estimate, and Elijah's overall knowledge of tree health and care. The work order included the pruning of a number of trees, removal of a tree that had come down in a storm, and removal of other nuisance trees and old stumps. He was also willing to remove a chain link fence and a wood fence on the property as well as underbrush. This was no easy task; there were a number of trees growing through the chain link fence and one actually grew around one of the posts. Elijah was prompt in arriving for an estimate and the job. He actually worked well into the evening hours, sometimes even after sunset, so as not to leave branches and debris around (even though he was going to back the following day). The work and cleanup were done to our satisfaction, and Elijah was more than happy to answer any of our questions throughout the four days that he was here. We would hire Elijah and his company again without reservation

Caleb arrived when promised, gave us an estimate and we hired Neighborhood Tree Care to remove our tree. We are pleased with their work. The reason for the 1 star rating is the customer service we received from Joe regarding the stump removal process. Joe called, angry, rude and condescending to my spouse because we left a vehicle blocking access to backyard causing them to pay grinder an extra service call/fee to come back. There was no communication as to which day/time the grinder was coming! When Joe and crew came to our home for the final cleanup, I expressed my disappointment with his angry call. Their was no apology just excuses! Our dissatisfaction comes from lack of customer service skills, poor communication and unwilingness to apologize, on Joe's part, when given the opportunity to do so!
