Bill was prompt in returning my call and provided an estimate approximately 3 days later. Bill was not the least expensive bid I received, but it was competitive and included the necessary repairs to the adjoining brickwork. Bill did warn me that 1) the existing stucco was very old and would be difficult to match the color perfectly and 2) masonry repair was not his specialty. Bill said he would start the job about 3 weeks out. After 4 weeks I called and Bill apologized and explained that he was behind schedule due to weather. Bill started late the following week and finished early the next week. The masonry repairs were good and the stucco repairs were excellent. As the stucco cures, the color continues more closely match the original stucco

WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A SIMPLE PATCH JOB TURNED INTO A MAJOR REPAIR. ONCE THE WORK STARTED WE COULD SEE THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD OBVIOUSLY PATCHED WITHOUT REPAIRING OLD DAMAGE TO FOUNDATION. JOHN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. HE AND HIS CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF REPAIRING THE DAMAGE PRIOR TO REFACING THE CRACKED AND BROKEN STUCCO. THEY TREATED MY HOUSE AS THOUGH IT WERE THEIR OWN, MAKING SURE THE REPAIR WAS SOLID AND RELIABLE. IT APPEARS THAT OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE MAY BE IN SIMILAR CONDITION AND DONNELLY BROTHERS IS MY COMPANY OF CHOICE FOR THE WORK. ANOTHER COMPANY BID MUCH LOWER, BUT MY INTERVIEW WITH THE PROJECT MANAGER CONVINCED ME THE QUALITY OF WORK WOULD BE SUB-PAR. BE AWARE THAT WITH THIS TYPE OF WORK, YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

As we were talking, I asked if he could help with plaster repairs due to water damage (from an ice dam in the late winter). So far the work has been great. The weather did not allow the finish coat to be applied before the end of the season. The brown coat has been applied and we are water tight. Next spring the finish coat will be applied. I am not expecting issues. The finish coat will cost an additional $8000.00 so that the entire back of the house matches

He said they would come out and repair the two spots and they would leave a bill for me. I waited and waited and finally called them back he acted like he didn't even know who I was. He apologized and said he just lost track of me. He said it was too cold to do the repair work. I understood, but was surprised that he didn't come back out when the temperature went back up. I haven't heard from him again. I hope I won't need major repair work after having the cracks suffer through the winter. The president after reading this report came out & was very apologetic. He asked me to give him another chance & had someone come out and put sealant on my house & apologized for not letting me know that someone was going to come out. I am going to have him out in the spring to do some more work. He was very sorry about the problem and wanted to make sure that he was going to do everything I wanted him to do

My home looks fantastic and it is very apparent Lane and my team of painters not only enjoy their work but have high standards in all aspects of the work they provide. My initial phone call was returned by Lane the same day and he provided a detailed written estimate two days later. I greatly appreciated Lane's willingness to answer my questions about patching two areas of stucco where a retaining wall had been attached to my home and in particular, his professional attitude and willingness to have my home painted within a 2 week time-frame due to getting our home on the market. He also brought paint samples to my home and returned a few days later with paint samples which he painted on the back of my house to help me select the final paint color. Other than 2 windows accidentally closed by the painters prior to being dry, the finished results and attention to detail were exceptional! Considering my 1950's home had been remodeled 5 years prior, including 12 transom and/or large windows, the two coats of paint blended the earlier re-dash textures beautifully with the original stucco; my home looks up-dated and lovely. One of the unexpected details was when I discovered the small rust spots on my five-foot iron railing were scraped, primed and repainted black along with the house numbers and mailbox slot. My bushes, plants and lawn were tied back or covered and the downspouts, vents or PVC pipes holding electrical wiring were carefully painted to match the house. When I called about the two windows painted closed, it was taken care of the next day. I'm very grateful and happy to refer Eclipse Painting

This is the third time we have worked successfully with Shelton, and first time at this house. After a pressure wash of our stucco, we determined that both stucco AND trim work needed to get done. It was a really big decision to paint our stucco. Fortunately, I trusted Todd, Dan and his crew to get it done right. Not only do they have a great color consultant and very good products with which to paint a breathable layer on the stucco, they also offered trim repair at a very reasonable price and done in a way that did not slow the process. They were really responsive when I triple-checked to make sure the color was right before we used 50 ? gallons on the house. Shelton insists on painting two coats even with the higher quality paint, which I think is worth the investment for not much more cost or time than one coat. They even came back and painted trim work for the egress window we finished later on gratis to make sure everything was complete. We have had so many compliments on how nice our freshly painted house looks. People go out of their way to tell us as they are walking by. We are very happy with it, too. Todd remembers everything you talk about and does everything he says his team will do, and makes sure it gets done right. If you are a visual person like me, take notes on your conversation, because not all the details get written on the bid, but they do get done. In contrast, other bidders had fancy proposal sheets. However, they did not anticipate hidden details before the project started like Todd and Dan did, and did not take the time with me as they did either. Because both Todd and Dan were thorough at the beginning, there were no added on costs once we agreed on the proposal

They started the Friday before Mother’s Day and finished Saturday after the Fourth of July. It’s hard to give them one grade because the work is excellent, the product they use is excellent, I would say “A”. The employees they had was an “A”. It’s a small company run by a husband and wife. The wife I would give an “A”. The husband I would give a “D” or an “F”. The pricing is fair. What you get, they do a heck of a job, so the pricing is fair. The quality of the work done I would say is an “A”. Again, it’s multifaceted so it’s not fair to give one comment. The problem is with Mr. Imhoff, he’s inconsiderate, he’s disrespectful. Where his wife is just the opposite, she is very pleasant to work with. Service responsiveness, if I had to give it a grade I would say a “B” probably. Punctuality - It’s hard to give on grade because the person who did the work, they basically had one person that painted, so he was punctual. You’ve got to figure my house is 1,940 square feet, it’s not a big house. It took them from May 12th until July 11th something like that. Now that is too long. Now weather obviously plays into it, but it took longer. It didn’t really bother me, but it’s just longer than I expected. Professionalism – “A” for the employees, “F” for one of the owners
