Steve was good about communicating and confirming by phone. He arrived right on the dot. Very organized and efficient. He stretched a very large carpet area from the entry way in. I was quite frankly amazed that he was able to get all the folds out. He also wound up patching 2 small areas for us because the remnant I had did not match the spot I needed patched. So, he took a small patch from a closet that did match and used that. Then he took the remnant I had and patched the closet area. Quite frankly, his job was a work of art. The man really knows what he is doing. Even though the work was worth more than the Angie's List deal we purchased, he only charged $20 more. Highly recommend

Cody is a self-employed contract carpet installer who I found out about from a friend of a friend. We needed to have a very small amount of carpet re-installed after we had a fireplace hearth installed. The fireplace guys were willing to contract a carpet company to do the work, but by the time everybody got a piece of the action, the price was prohibitive for 20 minutes work. I called Cody and he said he could stop by after he finished another job a few days from when I called. He arrived promptly, and as I guessed was done in 20 minutes. He did excellent work, cleaned up everything, and was gone. I couldn't have asked for more at a better price. I would definitely call him again if I needed carpet repaired, re-stretched, or installed

Our stager said we needed to replace our carpet because our dog had chewed the edge of it. Our carpet cleaner suggested we contact Abbott as she had used them in the past and found them to be very professional. We had hoped they would be able to take a piece of carpet from the closet and sew it onto the damaged area. After evaluating the situation, they said they could easily stretch the carpet and remove the damaged portion. The result looked perfect and only cost $75, much less than new carpet. We were very pleased

We had a carpet bubbling problem, and he fixed that, too. He was here on time, diagnosed and fixed our carpet problem in about an hour. We’ll definitely use him again

The guy showed up to the house to clean the carpets. We called them on the $149 up to 700 sq ft area coupon that they had. Right away when he came over to clean he told us its going to cost $105 more because Bedrooms, Hallways are considered HIGH TRAFFIC areas. Seriously? So what is not a high traffic area? Areas that dont get walked on or what? Well then I woldnt need those areas cleaned if theres no traffic there. So we were for sure not happy about the extra charge being so much more right away. Looks more like a hidden cost then anything else. Also I have 2 small children at home that play on the floors all the time and I wasnt happy about the fact that he was wearing his shoes around the house without any covers on them. Also I have brand new wood stairs that were never covered and his hoses were rubbing and scratching against them during the cleaning. This is a higher end home modern/contemporary brand new remodeled finishes and nothing was protected during the cleaning process. He did wipe down the stairs a little but I had to go back after him and wipe more off from the marks he left during the cleaning process mostly left from his shoes. I have contacted them about this concern but got no reply back. I woldnt use them again. Carpets do look cleaner but not as we expected. He looked like he was in a hurry and many stains are still left on the carpet. We actually got the stains cleaned out ourselves with just a carpet cleaner attachments that goes on our vacuum. So I dont feel like there was much effort put into it for $277 and it was done in about 1hr
