I CALLED FIVE DIFFERENT LANDSCAPERS FOR ESTIMATES FOR THIS PROJECT. LEFT MESSAGES WITH THREE. SPOKE WITH TWO IN PERSON RIGHT AWAY. OF THE TWO I SPOKE WITH, THEY COULD NOT EVEN SEND A PERSON OUT TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE FOR A WHOLE WEEK. TWO OF THE THREE WITH WHOM I LEFT MESSAGES STILL HAVE NOT CALLED BACK. THE THIRD MESSAGE WAS WITH DEHN'S. HE CALLED BACK THE SAME DAY (FRIDAY), STOPPED BY THAT SAME EVENING TO PROVIDE ADVICE AND ESTIMATE, AND THEN WAS OUT DOING THE WORK THE NEXT MONDAY MORNING! AND SOME OF THE OTHERS CAN'T EVEN CALL ME BACK IN THAT TIME-FRAME. CHUCK AND CREW DID EXCELLENT WORK, EXCEEDING MY EXPECTATIONS FOR THE VISUAL APPEAL OF THEIR REPAIRS AND UPGRADES TO MY LANDSCAPING. HE PROVIDED EXCELLENT ADVICE ON WHAT WE CAN DO TO MAINTAIN OUR NEW SEED AND BUSHES. WILL DEFINITELY HIRE DEHN'S AGAIN FOR FUTURE WORK. VERY VERY SATISFIED

They delivered the gravel the same day I called (fall is a good time to call for gravel). The driver was timely.

I just picked it up so there was no contract on that. My experience with them has been pleasant. I called him and agreed to meet him at his gravel place. We met at his gravel place and I picked up the gravel. The price has been good.

Aaron was timely and very considerate with his plowing. Because I have a gravel driveway, he knew that he had to plow a bit higher until we got a hard freeze, so as not to displace the gravel. He showed the same consideration in the spring.

We called Chad Sparks (owner, C & L Outdoor Design and Landscape) to give us a bid on the implementation/work of a design plan we had previously purchased from another landscape designer. He reviewed our plan, met with us and walked thru the property and talked through our vision and goals. Afterwards he was able to give us some verbal estimates so we had some idea as to how we wanted to proceed. We weren't sure if we wanted to tackle the whole project all at once or do it in phases. We had a very large wooded and weedy side yard that was just a mess so we knew that we wanted to pursue getting the buckthorn and weeds removed and treated right away. So, Chad came out to walk through the yard again and make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to proceed. During this second meeting and walk-thru, Chad gave us another great idea for our yard that wasn't part of the initial design but in truth, it's what we really wanted from the beginning - more yard. The project became much larger in the end, but it truly is the vision we had when we bought the house. We love the wooded lot but there was no usable green space. Now with the help of the designer and C & L, we have a purposeful, usable yard. The changes in the front and side yard transformed the entry into our cul-de-sac too. We had what I called, a "forest" where you couldn't really see our house as you approached the circle, now we have a welcome and and beautiful corner entry. Our backyard was very wooded but was mostly ungraded, and full of buckthorn too. We followed the initial design plan for the most part in the back, putting in a walking path and a "bags" court. I was thoroughly impressed with the installation process Chad used for this. He created a template to hold the gravel path in place and it really makes it look sharp and clean. Chad also recommended leveling out our bonfire pit area and adding a small semi circle of boulders to mirror what we already had off of our back deck. I'm so glad he had this vision because it really looks nice and it gave us a level spot for chairs when sitting around the fire. It required taking out a decent sized tree that was in the way but by taking it out, it provided a little more sunlight into the back. I cannot stress enough how thrilled we are with our newly remodeled yard. We still have lots of trees but we have beautiful green space too. We have gotten so many compliments from our neighbors and strangers that walk by on a regular basis. I would definitely recommend C & L Outdoor Design and Landscape to others. Chad is truly an honest, hard working, good guy

It went very well. I called one day, Charles came out and gave an estimate the next night, and he showed up with a crew of two men and the necessary equipment the next day, promptly at 8AM as promised. We requested some additional work after they arrived and they completed it all very efficiently and professionally. They did a wonderful job! They knew what they were doing, it looks great and we thought the cost was very reasonable. Would recommend and hire them again in a heart beat

Kev returned my phone call within a day and came out to the house on time as scheduled, he offered to to the work that week end but we were coordinating with some additional concrete work for a driveway apron so we scheduled his visit three weeks later. After three weeks passed I called to remind him an we scheduled his work, he showed up as promised and did a great job

They have a wonderful sale people and selections. The delivery charge is extremely high even if you live close by.
My project manager, Chris Grose, was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with and always responded to my inquiries and questions. His carpenters did an excellent job and the finishing work of the wainscoting matches existing exactly. I was also very happy with his drywall contractor. The drywall contractor made sure the employee he sent to do the work could match our existing textured drywall on the ceiling portion of the job. It matches perfectly! This was a relatively small job but I never felt like it was less important than any other projects Chris was managing. I'm very happy with Chris and Northrup and will hire them again. I recommend you hire them too
Our chimney needed repair after some shoddy work had been performed by a previous company. Guardian Chimney provided a detailed estimate with pictures for each step of the repair. Joseph was available to answer all questions which made us more comfortable that the job would be done correctly. The crew arrived on time, were courteous and professional. We were extremely pleased with the work and would highly recommend Guardian Chimney Solutions
John and his team were awesome! They couldn't be a nicer group of guys. From the first meeting, John took a genuine interest in both the job and in my historic home. My driveway is unusual in that the home is on a corner lot and the driveway wraps completely around the house, and under an original carriage porte. Proper design was key to complimenting the historic integrity of the home and we were very specific with our design request, going so far as to provide a detailed rendering depicting soft, undulating curves and portions where the solid slab drive was to transition into tracks with a grass boulevard down the middle. John and his team worked very closely with us to give us exactly what we wanted. We tried to be home for most of the work, and told them to never hesitate to knock and ask us questions....which they didn't and we greatly appreciated. The whole process felt very collaborative and everyone involved seemed genuinely interested in getting all the details right. John and his crew were also very concerned with making sure the driveway was graded properly for water runoff, which is, of course, a very important aspect of concrete work and was overlooked by all the other bidders. The crew left the site very clean and the driveway looks great! Cornerstone will be coming back in a few weeks to seal, and I suspect that will go just as smoothly. I would absolutely call these guys again for future concrete needs. Thanks John and team
It went really great. We love it. They were professional, quick, and courteous. They respond quickly and they are very easy to work with. I will be hiring them again.
We needed to replace the siding on our home, had four companies come to our house (three of which were initially found through Angi), and are glad that we used Hoffman Weber to do the job. Their sales associate (Al Lien) was knowledgeable and helpful, but no pressure, which I personally appreciate very much. They had a range of options, and in the end we chose to use HardiPlank which was less expensive than LP at the time of our project. The Hoffman Weber price was very competitive (and significantly lower than the high-pressure company that came out). The installation went well--the crew was hard working and pleasant, and communication with the project manager (Pete) was easy (the installation was done in February, so, weather affected the days of installation). The finished project looks great
Great to work with. A wonderful company. Very pleased. The initial meeting, he spent a lot of time talking with us and was very thorough. Very nice person a with a good personality.
I contacted rock tops via phone to find out the approx costs to get granite countertops installed. They gave me the rates per ft installed. Also told me where we could go look at the slabs to decide what color we want, prices vary depending on type of granite. Which we did. One person came out, measured and made templates once we had the cabinets all installed. Ordered a sink through them, which we were very happy with price and quality. We paid 1/2 down and set an install date. They called a few days before the date and were able to install early. We were able to make it work. 2 men arrived, one was the person who did the initial measuring, and they brought in and installed the countertops, backsplash and sink. We were not sure if we wanted blacksplash on all of it and they were very accommodating. Some adjustments were made as one of our walls was not straight. Which they knew when templates were made. They were great at making it look perfect. They installed everything and cleaned up very well. The granite looks great and we are totally happy with the quality and price. The installers were very professional. We paid the second 1/2 of balance which was agreed upon price. No surprises
Hot Rocks was great. Jessica was super responsive and patient with my amateurish estimated skills. (they made 3 trips to my house because I kept underestimating what I needed). Because I was in a cruch due to this, they did a great job of getting me the materials first thing in the morning on very short notice. I was very pleased with their service
Their workmanship is exceptional and as an added plus, they cleaned up the work site each and every night before they left. When the project was finished it looked phenomenal and to say the least, my wife and I are extremely pleased. We obtained a bid from four different landscapers and Maple Crest was in the middle as far as pricing. I was already leaning towards selecting Maple Crest, and after talking with a couple of previous customers, I was sold on them. Dan Ryan, their project supervisor, is very courteous, respectful and a pleasure to work with. When I first contacted Maple Crest for a bid, Dan came out the next day and by the end of the day I had their proposal via email. I liked his promptness. We added two other additions to the original project and each time Dan sent me their proposal within a day, so I always knew where we stood on costs. Even though we made many changes and additions during the project, the final cost was still very close to what I was expecting the project to originally cost. From the start, I trusted Dan and never felt once that I was going to be over-charged or that I was going to be cheated. They did what they promised and even more. It was very refreshing to work with a company with such strong work ethics amongst their people. We had a pretty good idea as to what we wanted, but we weren’t able to visualize the whole project until certain phases were completed. Dan and Steve, the onsite team lead, were both invaluable with their suggestions as to what would look the best for our yard. Even though I wondered about a couple of their ideas, I’m very grateful that we listened to them instead of ourselves. Steve and his crew were also a pleasure to work with during the three weeks they were working on our project. Steve is a stickler for details for which I am very thankful. He worked on our project as if it was for himself, which is a rarity these days. All of the walls are straight and level which is extremely important to us. We have two walls over 50 feet long and they are both as straight as an arrow. Steve was very patient with me during the whole project even though I asked many, many questions about how, why and what they were doing or going to do next. I am sure I frustrated and annoyed Steve at times, yet he never lost his patience with me. I appreciated that. Maple Crest Landscape is lucky indeed to have such great employees, such as Dan, Steve and the rest of their crew working for them. I would hire Maple Crest Landscape in a heartbeat for our next landscaping project. I also wouldn’t have any problem at all in having them do the work without bidding it first because I know it would be the same price either way
