I had four seperate estimates to replace an aging 30+ square cedar shake roof. Scott provided the best and most detailed estimate, providing several different options regarding costs and quality. While he gave me the most competative bid of the four, most importantly I trusted that he was very knowlegable in the correct standards for cedar shake replacement, and no shortcuts would be taken. I was not as trusting with the three other roofing companies that stated that they were "cedar certified", so I went with Traditions. They installed the roof in a week, it looked great and survived the first winter with no issues. I also very much appreciated that the work was done within the estimated cost he provided, no ridiculous upcharges that are so common in the contractors world. I would definetly recommend this company, Scott is honest and ethical which is sometimes hard to find in this type of business

INCLINE EXTERIORS
Extensive hail damage in our neighborhood resulted in many new roofs. All of the houses in our development have cedar shake roofs which are expensive to replace. Several of my neighbors used Incline Exteriors and highly recommended them. I called Incline and spoke with Scott Rademacher. He came out promptly and provided an estimate and discussed options for my new roof. Scott is very knowledgeable and professional. I received 2 other bids and Incline's estimate was the lowest and I felt would be the best quality company. Scott said they could complete the job in 2 days which surprised me as some of my neighbors' roof replacements took a week and materials sat on their driveways for a week or more before the work started. Scott said they could do the roof replacement the next week. Large work crew showed up as promised on a Monday and worked until 9:00pm. Materials showed up in the morning while they removed my existing roof down to the deck. They put tarps everywhere to protect my driveway and landscaping. They completed the entire job by 6:30pm the next day. Scott was onsite throughout the project and cleanup was excellent. The extra materials and dumpster on wheels were removed the next day. Excellent experience. Highly recommend Scott and Incline Exteriors

Jim really came through for us. Our roof was in need of serious help after a previous amateurish roofing job was botched. We contacted a number of roofers but most were completely unhelpful or didn't do cedar shake. Finally we found a professional that was willing to work with us despite having to deal with the previous poorly done repairs. They were prompt and worked quickly, so this will be the first winter we don't have to worry about the roof leaking. Inspection by the city was a success as well. If they can fix up our horrible roof, I'm sure they could take care of anything you can throw at them

Preston spent hours cleaning our cedar shake shingled roof that had been neglected for years. He used a power washer to remove the algae build up and after it dried for a few days, he returned to replace a few shingles and apply a sealer. Clayton and his crew did a great job. Our roof was losing shakes in every storm and parts of it were rotting. The workers power washed the roof, replaced the cedar shakes as needed and sealed the roof. They were very careful about covering the skylights and siding, as the sealant has a brownish color to it. The cedar shakes on our roof are much thicker than those I have seen around my neighborhood, and Clayton used the same grade (or better) shakes for the repair. They used many more shakes than quoted, but did not charge me extra for it. Overall a very pleasant experience

I knew Jason through a friend so I had him look at my roof after a big hailstorm this spring. Jason met with the adjuster who approved the claim. My out of pocket would have been just the deductible but I had a porch roof redone plus I went with a higher grade of shake than I had previously. Jason handled all the insurance company paperwork. The crew that did my roof did an outstanding job. They were meticulous about waterproofing, the flashing they installed was better than what I had originally and the cedar work was gorgeous. They even repaired some squirrel holes and used a magnetic roller to find any nails that were in the grass. My job was delayed about four weeks because of the wet fall. Cedar Valley didn't keep me updated about that until I called, which their production VP, Andy Filer, apologized for. Cedar Valley only does insurance claim work. They make the process painless

I requested 3 estimates.Jim Kosloski came out to our home and did an excellent presentation (the best of all 3 companies). We anticipated a possible issue with the city inspector, and Jim was kind enough to call the inspector and then leave me his voicemail message that we could proceed with no problem. Jim also brought out his ladder to obtain the serial # from one of the skylights that we needed a new flashing kit for. He was very accommodating. The bad news - his estimate was between $2700 - $3200 more than the two competing companies (apples to apples). I made him aware of that and he seemed surprised that there was a significant difference. He indicated that he'd review his estimate (that he's made mistakes before) and get back to me "within the hour" to see what could be done. I never heard from him. I was surprised he didn't send a nice email response thanking me for allowing his company to bid, but indicating that a price adjustment was not possible

After a hail storm last June, Capital Construction came out and looked at my roof. They handled all of the details with my insurance company and got my roof and siding replaced for the price of my deductible. I added a few upgrades along the way and they were very helpful in picking those items out for us as well. The main things we upgraded were gutters in areas we did not have them before and some wraps on windows just to add some more contrasting colors. Andy Oakes was great working with my insurance company. I didn't think they were going to cover us at all, but after Andy went over the pictures with the insurance rep it was all handled by Capital Construction from there on out. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them to a family member or friend! (I actually did refer my Mother to them for a roof inspection and a neighbor who was having problems getting any coverage from his insurance company.) Thank you

Tradition replaced my cedar shake roof in May/June 2014. Scott provided the estimate and follow-up and was my most competitive bid. The workers were very polite, cleaned up every day and the roof looks spectacular. The only issue was an expectation set by Scott that the job would be completed in 4-5 days. In actuality it took a couple days longer. I would hire them again.....the roof looks great

We are very happy with the results from Reroof America. Bill Ritenour and his crew did a fantastic job and the house and windows look great. Everything went according to schedule and came out costing what Bill estimated which was very important to us. We really like the new windows and they work great. The windows were all installed in a day. Our new Alside foam backed vinyl siding is a fine looking and functional addition to our home. It really looks like a new house. There were lots of colors of siding and window trim to choose from. All in all we highly recommend the folks at Reroof America. We're very glad we went with them

Installation of the furnace was fine. Probably overpriced for labor. They installed a tankless water heater when they were relatively new to this market. It worked fine for the first few years, but we've had a few problems over the years with it properly heating our water. When they've come out to the house to fix it, it seems that they charge an excessive amount of money to assess the problem and then another excessive amount to fix the problem. When we needed a new filter for the water heater, the technician had to and quot;researchand quot; locating the part for the filter because the water heater company had changed names over the years, etc. Well, the technician found the part for us which was $6. Great! However, he charged us for the time he spent researching/locating the part which cost almost $200, plus pay for him to install it! I find that completely ridiculous to charge that much to and quot;researchand quot; a part for a product that they had installed a few years prior! We have since switched to a smaller plumbing company in the area and are very happy with their services. I think now that they are under the Techta America they have gotten to be too corporate

Played phone tag for two days before finally speaking with Carla. When setting up the appointment on a Tuesday, she first stated that someone would be out on Thursday, then, when confirming the appointment, she said that it would be tomorrow. When I said, "tomorrow? that's Wednesday", she just laughed and said that she didn't know what day it was. The appointment time went from "around lunchtime" to "after twelve". Well, the "after twelve" turned out to be after four o'clock. I had errands to do, and had I known that I was going to wait around for four hours, I could have driven to town and accomplished something. When the work was in progress, I noticed that the first of the three sections that needed to be done took twenty minutes to clean. Somehow, the next two sections took the rest of two hours total. Apparently, the valleys on the roof also got cleaned, something that I did not request, as I usually do this myself. Also, Carla took it upon herself to use the plow-type shovel that was leaning against our garage to shovel the snow off the roof. Apparently, she didn't notice the two hooks on the lower edge of the shovel from years of use, or the bolt that stuck out of the bottom of the blade; this bolt scratches our wooden porch, so I don't know that I would have used it on the roof. All in all, they got the job done, but there was a definite lack of communication as to what was to be done, the time it was going to take, and the time at which it was to be performed. Perhaps this was partly my fault; next time, I will definitely get more specifics laid out before I hire a company for this service
