Dave explained everything about roofing my 2 ½ story home and garage. The workmanship was excellent and quality materials were used. They also roofed a small flat porch roof with rubber roofing material. The roofing crew was amazing. I have never seen people who worked as hard as this roofing crew did. I mean they just worked! and hardly took time out for lunch. A couple of days they started at 7a.m. and quit at 8p.m. Even came out on a Saturday to finish up. During the tear off (2 - previous roofs), they discovered it would be best to re-deck the roof. This added to the total cost but as Dave explained this would provide for a better installation and longer lasting roof. I?m very pleased with their work and would definitely hire D.S. Bahr Construction again. One thing I thought could have been done better was the flashing around the chimney, cosmetically speaking. Highly recommended

Wright At Home Services Inc
Bob Wright came to the appointment on time, listened to my problem of leak in enclosed porch roof, and inspected the roof. He found that there was an area blocked by debris that was causing a backup of rainwater, and cleaned it out. Then applied new sealant where the old had shrunk. Also inspected another part of the roof for me. He generously did not charge me for this, and I don't need a new roof yet

Snap construction was very interested in repairing the Hail damage and were out to check things out when the insurance adjuster was here so both Snap and insurance company were informed on what needed to be done. The service from snap was excellent an they pretty much went to work all I had to do is pick out the singles. They did find some rotting to some roofing boards on the house roof because a vent was not connect to the outside, they fixed that vent and put some new roof boards on. Because of this I did owe for them over and above my insurance deductible. I was glad to have it all in good condition for the future. Chris kept me well informed on what was happening and was always happy to answer my questions

THE ROOFING WAS DONE BUT THE BACK PORCH ROOF WAS OMITTED. WE HAD INTITIALLED IT ON OUR COPY OF THE CONTRACT. WHEN WE ASKED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE JOB WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO ABOUT THE PORCH ROOF, THE PERSON IN CHARGE VERY RUDELY STATED HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT AND DIDN'T HAVE THE MATERIALS SO THEY WOULD DO NOTHING. THEY BROKE OUR METAL AWNING OVER THE FRONT STOOP BY THROWING A LOAD OF SHINGLES ON IT. AND I KNOW THIS IS A SMALL DETAIL, BUT THEY ALSO COMPLETELY TRAMPLED OUR FLOWER BED TO AN EXTENT THAT SEEMED UNNECESSARY IF THEY HAD PAID JUST THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF ATTENTION. A YEAR LATER, (WE WAITED BECAUSE WE DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN) WE ARE TRYING TO NEGOTIATE GETTING THE PORCH ROOF DONE AT A REASONABLE PRICE SUCH AS IT WOULD HAVE COST WHEN WE HAD THE MAIN ROOF DONE. TWO CALLS AND PROMISES TO ASSESS BUT NO ACTION SO FAR. THE ONLY REASON WE ARE TRYING TO USE THEIR COMPANY IS TO SAVE AROUND 500$ OR MORE--IF IT WORKS

When the time comes for us to re-do the full roof on the house, there is no doubt we'll go with these guys! Matt and team were punctual, professional, and they did a wonderful job. There was a piece of plywood that had rotted out (previous owner didn't install gutters), and they replaced that without any delay in the project, and no extra charge. This was probably a small job for them, but they treated me like I was spending thousands more. I really liked that Matt came out both to do the actual estimate, AND met his people here on the day of the job. I'm very, very pleased with their work, and I would definitely recommend them! I HAD AN INDENTATION AT THE PEAK OF MY ROOF. I CALLED TIM LACASSE AFTER A REFERRAL FROM A FRIEND OF HIS WHO HAD RECENTLY DONE SOME UNRELATED WORK AT MY HOME. HE CAME OVER PROMPTLY AT 8AM ABOUT TWO DAYS LATER WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. ONCE ON THE ROOF, HE FOUND THAT A PIECE OF PLYWOOD HAD COME LOOSE UNDER THE SHINGLES. TIM REMOVED THE SHINGLES AND REATTACHED THE PLYWOOD AND THEN THE SHINGLES AGAIN. IT TOOK HIM ABOUT 45 MINUTES AND THANKS TO HIM THE ROOF IS BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN. I ASKED HIM WHAT THE COST WAS AND HE TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE. HOW REASONABLE CAN YOU GET? HE SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HIS WORK AND HAD A VERY PLEASANT ATTITUDE. WOULD CERTAINLY CALL HIM AGAIN FOR FUTURE ROOFING OR REPAIRS

They advocated for me with my insurance company and I don't think my insurance would have paid nearly as much without Keeleys help. She submitted lots of extra pictures showing the hail damage. With their large crew they re-roofed my large two story home with a wrap around porch and the oversized two car garage in one long day, and cleaned it all up. I'd never go anywhere else

I asked for bids from five different suppliers. Only three responded. Only two gave a firm bid. Kaufman's was much lower than one of the tohers. But the reason I liked them is (a) they responded to my request the next day; (b) they came out and looked at the job and provided a bid within two days; (c) they scheduled the date for their work; (e) they arrived when they said they would; (f) they did the job well and efficiently. What's not to love?
