These guys were great. I originally hired them to re install new fixtures in a kitchen we remodeled, and install a gas line for a Jenair that we installed. They did a great job, and did what they say they would. Just recently we had a toilet that was leaking, they were able to come out right away, change the wax ring and make everything look perfect. It is nice to have a company you can call, and will do a great job. Worth hiring

We had purchased the annual maintenance plan on our own home and a rental property. This is nothing but an up sale scam! They came to the rental property to fix the plumbing fixture and said while they were they they would do the annual maintenance check included in the maintenance plan. Well then they proceed to tell us that our furnace is defective and tagged it and told us our only remedy was to replace it (oh by the way they sell them too). He went on to say he was required to tag it and turn off the gas to it. The rental property is vacant at the moment (new tenants moving in 2 weeks from now). We said he couldn't turn off the heat - it would freeze up in this weather. At which time he said we could turn it back on if we wanted when he left. Then they said they needed to sell us an entirely new plumbing fixture because they don't handle the brand we currently have - even though it only needed a new seal/washer. The electrical fella told us we needed to replace the smoke/CO2 detectors because they were cheap store bought detectors and were dangerous (THEY sold us all new ones less than a year ago for $1000). It just went on and on. Well - we had another business come and check the furnace - there is NOTHING wrong with it! We went to the hardware store and ended up fixing the plumbing fixture ourselves. We are cancelling our annual maintenance agreement with them - it's a scam

We had a plumbing fixture blow out on a Sunday and were looking for a new plumber, being unsatisfied with the company we used in the past. We found Plumb Right on Angie's List with good ratings so gave them a call. They came out on Sunday for a small, reasonable service fee to stop the issue from getting worse and then came back Monday morning to do the actual fixing. We worked with three different plumbers from this company, all of whom were nice, knowledgeable, patient with our questions, super professional - I really can't say enough good things about them. One of the drains that was clogged was the floor drain in the laundry room. In order to get it going again, they had to actually go in a "back way" that involved cutting a pipe. We assumed there would be an additional fee for this, but there was not. They were diligent, thorough, and all around easy to work with. They will be our go-to service in the future

Kurt is the best contracter we have ever worked with! He (and his crew) are professional, accommodating, and honest. We had his company sand and refinish our hardwood floors a few years ago. They were old and in quite a bad state, and we wondered if they would have to be replaced. B & R Hardwood made them look like new again! The floor crew was prompt, courteous and did a fabulous job! This past August we had him buff and coat the floors again as we have 3 dogs and we wanted the floors to look good so we could list our house. Again, they did a wonderful job and worked with our timeline so we could get the house on the market. I also had him install granite countertops in our master bathroom and replace all the plumbing fixtures. They look beautiful and the work was top-notch. Kurt arranged for me to meet with the granite company to pick out the countertop and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. His cost wasn't the lowest I found, but also not the highest. I knew that he would do a great job though, and had no qualms about spending a bit more for superior work. I also appreciate the follow up from the company. They called after each stage to make sure the work was done properly and that we were satisfied. I have never dealt with a more customer-oriented company. We also decided to refinish our basement stairs ourselves and Kurt arranged for us to get the matching product without hesitation. I highly recommend B & R Hardwood and Tile and Kurt Kuhlman for any home improvement needs

GREG, THE TECHNICIAN, CALLED TO LET US KNOW THAT HE WAS ON HIS WAY. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. HE WAS ABLE TO FIX THE LEAK AND PROVIDE US WITH A NEW PLUMBING FIXTURE, AS WELL (WHICH WE NEEDED). WE ALSO, PREFER THE WAY CLEARWATER DOES THEIR ESTIMATING, WHICH IS BASED ON A ''PER PROJECT'' BASIS RATHER THAN AN ''HOURLY'' RATE. IT HELPS ELIMINATE THAT HIGH HOURLY COST WHEN THE JOB IS ONLY MINIMAL. VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

What went well: Flooring was done nicely, the brick pattern was well thought out; the grout is clean and even (however there is a 2" chunk of grout on the tile under the vanity that I will need to remove somehow). The knockdown ceiling looks very nice. What did not go well: There was a lot of miscommunication about replacing the subfloor even though I sent 3 emails about it. The salesperson told me a reasonable amount of subfloor replacement was built into the price. I was willing to pay additional to have larger sections of the subfloor replaced. Instead they installed a cement tile backer without discussing it with me. The paint job is atrocious. I could've done better. There was a mix of roller and paint brushes so the look isn't uniform. This is the reason it took 2 months to finish my job. The salesperson told me they have professional painters on staff, apparently none were available for my job. Communication issues between the project manager and the Carpenter was an issue

I waisted weeks checking with Angi/HomeAdvisors sending me listings of companies that were hundreds of miles away and not wanting to come all the way here to fix a couple of woodpecker holes. We did our own search and actually found who we used before and saved hundreds of dollars. Really disappointed in what happened to Angies List

They did a great job. The tank in our existing combi water heater unexpectedly began leaking. They first confirmed that the leak was from the tank and not something that could be corrected. We had no hot water and their work schedule was full for at least the next week. They made room for our job within a couple of days and completed the installation, which takes a full day. They hauled away the old water heater. Very competent, friendly, hard working people

The quality of the work was good. However, the price was much more than I was quoted. I was told someone would come to the house to measure how much copper gas line would be needed. No one ever came to take measurements. The day the job was to be done, they plumbers showed up late, which would be understandable if we were scheduled for later in the day. However, we were the first job of the day. The plumbers did not even come with the copper gas line that was needed! Instead, they took measurements and went to the local hardwares store to buy the supplies needed. It took them an hour to get the gas line from the hardware store that is located less then 10 minuets from our house. The worst part of it, we were charged 1 hour/plumber (a total of 2 hours) of labor for their shopping trip

We were looking for a contractor to help patch a five-inch hole in the drywall in one of our bedroom closets. I contacted several drywall companies, most of which basically said the job was too small. One helpfully suggested I look for a good handyman for a job this size and that's how I found BBD. Brian was great to work with. He responded to my inquiry promptly. We exchanged info and pictures by text, he emailed me an estimate that I found acceptable and we arranged dates to do the work. He was very good about communicating when he would be at our house (it was a two-day project), how much time he would need, etc. He was up front about pricing and gave us a fair estimate that wound up being the exact final cost. He came each day prepared with the materials he needed. He was super pleasant, respectful of our house, great with our dogs (who are very friendly and curious) and worked quickly. He was so quiet sometimes that I'd forget he was in the house. In addition we were super satisfied with his workmanship and are very pleased with the job overall. At the end of the job, we settled up and he emailed me an invoice without me having to ask. I appreciated the professionalism. I just put his card on the fridge. If we have future small jobs around the house, he will be our first call

I stupidly dumped a goodly amount of psyllium husk fiber supplement down my kitchen disposal which immediately expanded and caused a MAJOR clog in our kitchen drain. Steve came out the same day I called and cleared the drain in a little over an hour for a very reasonable price. We had emptied out the cabinet under the sink so that he could get to the plumbing, and after he left we noticed a small leak in the pipe under the kitchen sink. I called him the next day and he came right back out, again the same day, and fixed the leak at no extra charge, even though we are quite certain that he did NOT cause the leak when unclogging the drain (based on what we saw under the sink it had likely been leaking for some time but we had so much junk under there we never noticed). We were VERY happy with Steve's responsiveness, service and price and would highly recommend him

I emailed them with a description of a particular old faucet I needed which I had spent hours searching for online but could not find. The faucet attaches to the back of the sink, similar to a tub instead of the top of the sink. They responded that they had the faucet, named the manufacturer and part number and supplied the price. I searched online and discovered that their price was quite competitive. I stopped by to purchase the faucet. The salesperson opened up the package to make sure it was what I needed and we discovered a part missing, so a new one was ordered available to be picked up first thing the next morning
