I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company. I had left them a message during the week and the owner, Todd, took the time to return my call over the weekend. I was able to schedule the appointment for just a few days out. Todd arrived right on time and did the work himself. I had explained to him over the phone what work I needed done and he had all of the necessary materials to complete it. He was extremely professional and very personable as well. The work was completed in about 30 minutes for what I thought was a reasonable rate. He showed me exactly what he had done and walked me through the invoice line by line, even remembering that I had mentioned finding them on Angie's list and automatically giving me the discount. I would definitely hire them again, and would strongly recommend their services

Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning
I was installing a new fence, using a contractor found on Angie's List, and they severed my gas line that runs to my gas grill. They did partial due dillegence and had Gopher One come mark where all utilites were. Unfortunately the fence company did not mark where they would be digging, therefore the gas line was not marked. They would not take responsibility for severing the gas line, which left me scrambling for what to do. I had to call Centerpoint out asap, to make sure all was ok. Well Centerpoint also would not take responsibilty for their error in not marking there was a gas line and Red Tagged my home, they shut off the gas completely. I had yet to use Pronto for any services, but had them out for an estimate for an ac unit once before. So my first call was to them. I spoke with Katie, I believe, in the office and she was so nice and helpful, and understood my frustation with my contractor. By the end of the call I had Pronto scheduled for the next day. Matt came out and was very kind in his explanation of the full cost, even though I was beyond frustrated that I had to put so much money that was unexpected. I asked how much it would be to fix the line to my grill and he suggested that we go another route instead of having the line trenched in the yard. He was unable to do it that day, understandable, but capped off the line and turned the gas back on to my home. He scheduled another date to come out to do the line. The following week Matt and Mike arrived and within 1 hour had my gas grill back up and running. They were friendly, knowledgable and told me they would be back later that night for a hot steak off the grill! While I was upset with the fact that I needed to have to use Pronto and their services, I cannot imagine using anyone else. They are go above and beyond in their customer services as well as the work they do

Weld & Sons Plumbing
We just needed to get some of our gas plumbing up to code - installing a drip T and properly supporting the gas line to our dryer. So it was not a very big job at all. Weld and Sons was among the cheapest out there. They gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone. The lady I spoke to on the phone was a little unsure of what exactly we needed done so she transferred my call to the owner to give me an accurate estimate. This showed me that they really care about their customers' needs. I called on a Friday afternoon and they were here first thing Tuesday morning. Showed up right when they said they would. Dan was very nice, worked quickly, did exactly what we asked, and showed me his work when he finished. I would highly recommend using them

Precision Utilities
Cory and team from Precision Utilities are the best, very professional, always communicated with me and on-time delivery was flawless. He installed a gas line in our basement that was super tricky and he did an amazing job. Took away my old stove and installed the new stove. I would have had to pay Warner Stellian $300 to haul my stove away. I highly recommend this company!

I called Jason and described briefly, what needed to be done. He gave an ball park price based on how explained the layout etc. We set up an appointment for the following week as it was not an emergency situation. Couple of days later I had to call him again requesting if he could do this on a different day. He was was very accommodating and we set up a different day. Quality of work was good, but told by installer plumber that if I had any questions, to call Paul, the owner. I did have a question about possibly the need for an elbow to connect to the stove, but when I called Paul to ask about the need for an elbow, he became very upset that I was questioning his plumber's work. It was not a good experience. He did not even let me express my concern before he became very upset. For this reason I would not hire this plumber again

Noticed water in the basement, Called Mr Rooter for a quote, they wouldnt give a quote but said a plumber would come out and quote. Plumber came out next morning and quoted $900-$1000 to jet it out. So I said I will try it with a snake first. Tried it with a snake and didnt have any luck. Around 9pm called Mr rooter to have them come out and Jet it out. Guys came out and quoted $1300 now. We couldnt use sinks, toilet, showers etc... unless that drain was cleaned out. So I was in a dead end and had to get it done. I felt like they knew that and thats why the charge so high. It took them aprox 30 min from arrive to packing and leaving. They got it done but $1300 in under 30 min was an insane charge. Service was good, pricing was horrible

They are friendly, honest, happy to deal with all my wacko requests (like a fan in the laundry room). I always get several bids and these guys consistently come in on target or slightly better than the competition and they do a great job with complex projects. These guys aren't like other contractors who whine and moan about where you want stuff, they just make it happen

I am writing this review to hopefully help anyone in the Minneapolis area that needs a plumber. First, it is a HUGE pleasure to do business with Center Point Plumbing!! My experience, with every single plumbing outfit I have ever contacted over the years, is that the company will not talk to you when you call them. Every single plumbing company always says, "we can set up an appointment and have the plumber come out to your house and take a look and give you an estimate". Of course, for a plumber to come to my house will cost me anywhere from $50-$90 just for the trip.....even if they do nothing. When I ask for a ball park figure of what the cost will be, over the phone....not one single plumbing company I have called in the past is willing to even give me a "rough" estimate about what a job may cost....they want to gouge you with the trip charge!! I have even asked companies to have a plumber call me and talk to me before they come to my home. NO WAY! ALL plumbing companies I have called in the past seem to put plumbing ignorant people on phone answering duty, and then train them that they are not to answer any questions from a customer! And also train them to provide a customer ZERO help and/or information! When I called Center Point Plumbing, I spoke to Jim and he answered every question I had and gave me an estimate over the phone. And, it was not a ball park estimate, it was a firm estimate! I am telling anyone reading this....Jim is super nice, extremely helpful, and reliable! I also got an estimate from Jim for a variety of sump pump possibilities while I had him on the phone. And, when I had some questions he did not have a ready answer for, he said he would call me back as quickly as possible after he got answers for me. Jim called me back, on two different occasions withing five minutes each time!! Evan is the plumber that came to my house to do the work....Oh, another thing.......Center Point Plumbing gave me an EXACT time appointment......... not an appointment with a 2 hour window or a 4 hour window....an EXACT appointment! No plumbing company I have ever dealt with is willing to do this! It was SOOO nice to not have to sit around and wait and wonder when the plumber was going to arrive! Evan actually called us before noon, which was our appointment time, and asked if we would mind if he came early. We were happy to see him arrive 30 minutes early......great guy....very helpful, did excellent work, and answered tons of questions I asked him while he was working.....on subjects from sinks, to sump pumps, to water heaters....on and on! When the work was completed, I paid exactly what I was quoted by Jim and Evan also gave me 2 written quotes for two other jobs we want to have done in the near future. This is the only plumber I will ever use from now on!!
