I had a new 8 X 8 shed installed on one of the worst days of the year, it was snowy and sleeting all day, but they were able to get the shed up despite the weather. The shed looks great, and they did an excellent job of not only installing the shed, but cleaning up after the fact. They were very responsive via email, and I'm very happy with the entire process and with my new shed

Terrific. Communication was excellent. I was given dates and schedule updates so knew exactly when the builders were coming and what prep needed to happen before they got here. Pricing was clear and Jessica went through the different options to make sure I got what I needed/wanted. She was thorough and very responsive when I emailed questions. Work crew came on one of the worst weather days in November (stuck to scheduled date) and completed the 8X12 shed in three hours. Best way to describe the build was choreography! Team of three hustled, knowing exactly what needed to be done. I watched the build. They never stopped moving! Again, horrible weather (snow, rain and wind) and they got it done. My siding guys refused to work that day but not The Shed Shop. Quality construction. So glad I followed the advice of other customers on Angie's List and hired The Shed Shop. Have recommended them to friends and family

I am so happy with this company, their service, and their product. My metal shed collapsed under the weight of the melting snow a couple of months ago. I called and left a message for Jessica who returned my call 5 minutes later and this was on the weekend! Her father came to the house and gave me an estimate to remove the old shed a build one that would look much better and be up to the city code. (The old shed was too close to the property line). He was very nice and professional. The snow was still on the ground so we scheduled the work for late May. Two men came on the day planned, one of them is the husband of Jessica. They got right to work, had the old shed removed and the new one built in less than 5 hours. They were very nice and cleaned up after themselves. My new shed looks great, and they even matched the shingles to the ones on my house. Loved working with a family owned and run company. I would recommend them with no reservations

In less than two weeks after the initial visit, I had the old shed removed and JN came out with his crew to build the new one. I wanted the ramp and door to one side and an overhang to one side. I wanted shelving. I did not need a new foundation. They built the new shed on the old concrete foundation. They did a great job, material quality is excellent. It is a tightly sealed unit. The ramp to the door is slanted and snow is easily removed. Lock is very good quality. Hooks on doors are easy to use so doors don't blow around. I am happy to pay the price for such quality and prompt service

I had a hard time finding the right kind of service provider to replace a hail-damaged metal shed (it was a small project for some of the contractors but dealing with insurance seemed more than the handyman services were used to). I called Christians since their website says they specialize in working with insurance and restoration issues. Adam was great, he came out once himself to look at the site, and then a couple days later the actual installer came to look, in the process of putting together a quote for us. The cost came in within the amount allocated by insurance. We were out of town when we finalized the contract, and Adam was generous in stopping by our house in person to pick up the deposit check when we got back so that we could get everything started a few days sooner. Adam also hauled away some scrap metal that we needed to dispose of (that had to be moved in order to take the old shed down), at no extra charge which we were grateful for. The work was done over the course of two afternoons. The crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves, and the new shed is pretty much exactly like the old one. We are happy with the experience of working with Christians and with the work they did for us

The Shed Shop has a very convenient option of ordering the shed on line. I really love the website because you can see all of the options, color of roof and sizes. I ordered my shed on line (at night). The next day, Tim called to thank me for purchasing the shed and answered any questions that I had. They custom build the shed to customer satisfaction. We set a date for the install. Tim and his partner were outstanding. They were one of the hardest working pair I have ever met. They never took a break and built a very nice shed

Nicely Dunn Handyman Service Inc
We had a hail-damaged metal shed that insurance was paying for us to have removed and replaced. I had a hard time finding contractors to take it on because it's a small job, so I emailed Nicely Dunn. Scott spent a lot of time researching what would be involved in installing the new shed, so that he could provide a good estimate of time required for our insurance adjuster. We sent many (10+) emails back and forth and I had at least one phone call with Scott, and I know he talked with our insurance adjuster directly at least once. Because of some delays with information/approvals from insurance, the conversation spanned a couple of months. After some snags with insurance approval of quotes, I ended up finding a contractor who would consider our job. The other contractor's bid came in lower (because of economy of scale, I assume) and he was able to take care of some of the logistics directly, so we went with the other guy. I was impressed with how much time Scott spent researching and communicating with us on this issue, and will definitely consider him for around-the-house handyman work in the future

From start to finish, working with The Shed Shop was a delight. After receiving a bid from the big box provider of sheds, I did one last search for a locally-owned option and found The Shed Shop. The process for registering for an estimate was quick and easy - I love that you could do it directly on their website. From there, my interactions with Jessica, who is the owner, began, and she was great to work with! She went above and beyond to help us understand what would be done, what our options were, and even ideas to help with some grading issues we identified around the location for the shed. When it came time for construction, Chad, the builder, was one of the best contractors I've worked with to date. He arrived right on time, was friendly and easy to talk to, and best of all, built an amazing shed. The quality and detail of the shed far exceeded what I was expecting, which that alone would lead me to want to work with them again. Add to that the great personality and friendliness of everyone I worked with, and pricing that beat the big box store option...what is there not to like about the Shed Shop?! If you are in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area, I would highly recommend you consider working with Jessica and the Shed Shop for your Shed need

BACKYARD BUILDING SYSTEMS
My husband and I began looking for a storage shed this past summer. We could not find a shed that was both sturdy and affordable. I found Backyard Building Systems on Angie's list and we decided to drive to Hampton to check out the sheds. They have every size imaginable! We ordered the "Americana" with the 4 foot sidewall. Finished size 8 X 10 X 8. The shed was installed in about a week (the actual time the company needed was something like 3 days)! Steve, the installer, came at 8:00 (time scheduled) and he was done building the shed around 11:30. He cleaned up the area and it looks great! Steve took the time to explain to me how we needed to caulk and put primer on the new wood. I probably won't get it painted until spring but I GET TO PARK IN THE GARAGE THIS WINTER!

MARK AND LOU PETERSON ARE A HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM THAT RUN THIS BUSINESS TOGETHER. THEY OFFER CEDAR SHEDS AND GAZEBOS EITHER AS A KIT OR INSTALLED. THERE ARE NOT A LOT OF DESIGN OPTIONS OFFERED, BUT THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS AND THE AVAILABLE DESIGNS ARE VERY GOOD. THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE ON THE DATE ABOUT SIX WEEKS OUT FROM OUR ORDER PLACEMENT AND WERE THERE THAT DAY. THEY BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION A SMALL DEFECT IN ONE WINDOW, ORDERED THE REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLED IT WITHOUT QUESTIONING THE NEED TO DO SO. THEY WERE TOTALLY RESPONSIVE TO ANY REQUESTS AND VERY EFFICIENT IN THEIR WORK. OUR GAZEBO WAS COMPLETED IN 2.5 DAYS

Luke Therrien, owner of Cuzzin Construction, is the finest contractor we've ever worked with. He treats your house and job like it is his own. He is an expert who not only is a great leader of a construction team, but also loves to get his hands dirty. He is creative and a problem solver and is not thrown by any unexpected problem that he encounters. Above all, he is the consummate professional and a nice and kind person who is extremely conscientious about his work. Not only did the end product look perfect, but also he made little touches (for example, scrubbing certain areas of grout so they matched the rest of the bathroom and just were white and shiny) and was extremely careful in cleaning up every night before he left so that you'd never know there was construction going on in your house. We wholeheartedly recommend him

He responded quickly. He went out to the rental property and took pictures of what needed to be done so he could show us over email. He was quick to come up with a quote. That was all good. There was some confusion and not all of the work was completed the way I would have wanted. He said that my husband said we would finish it and my husband said that was crazy so I don't know what happened. He didn't do this one corner of the house. I probably won't be going back to him but he was okay. I was impressed but not blown away enough to keep using him
