Eli was very easy to work with. When they came back to backfill after the foundation was built, there was a large tree stump that was not fully removed by the tree company. They had to leave and a week later I had the stump removed. Eli had his crew back out to finish the grading for the new driveway with no questions asked, even though it meant another trip to our house. His machine operator, Josh, is amazing, I've never seen anyone operate large equipment in such a small space. Great company would definitely recommend to others!!

Even though it was the worst time (over the Holiday) they came out as soon as they could and installed 20 ft of new PVC and made sure rest was secure. Couldn't have asked for a better job or company!!!! Dug up the minimum of yard, to make springtime repair easier.

They provided us a wonderful landscape plan. We then pulled out all of the existing shrubs, but had Pahl's prepare the new dirt, grading and beds for the new plants. They also installed some landscape rock and steps. They did VERY good work and we have been very satisfied with their products and work, even two years later now! I'd recommend giving them a try

We thought we needed our foundation excavated, sealed and drain-tiled. Kevin came to estimate the work. He spent a full hour inspecting our foundation and landscaping and showed us the drain tile already in place and how the foundation appeared to be sealed. He recommended that we manually do a minimal amount of landscaping to improve the grade and even suggested a company to help with that. He did not request payment for his in depth consultation, but I asked to pay him for his time since he probably saved us $1000 to $3000 in excavation and landscaping costs. This is the second time Kev has really helped us out. Several years ago in a different house he helped us repair a truly cracked, leaking foundation. You can see our grade A review for that work on this site, dated October of 2010

It was difficult to find a company to do the excavation and sewer replacement in Minneapolis due to code requirements. Jim Boston (owner) came promptly to evaluate and give an estimate. He and his crew worked until 9pm because I was unable to get anything through my sewer. The Minneapolis code inspector was very complimentary about this company when she came for the permit completion inspection

Very good experience. Not the least expensive but did a very good job. Rep asked to meet with me beforehand to understand our needs, so provided exactly the detailed quote we needed. Had best warranty of several companies contacted. Rep was friendly and knowledgeable. Estimated 3 weeks before installation and that's what it was. Company called one day before installation as promised. Arrived a bit earlier that day than anticipated but not a problem. Base was prepared well, and they worked carefully around underground sprinkler system. Returned one week later to lay asphalt, again called day before. Result was very good with proper drainage

Shane quoted a septic repair on a property that I purchased. I met with Shane to discuss the repairs and we were able to come up with a less expensive solution. While the new solution saved me money it did require Shane to make some calls to city/county officials for approval. He went out of his way to help me out in a solution that ultimately was the best option for me. Because of how he helped me out, I also had him provide a construction dumpster. I could not be happier with any of the services I recived. I will call Steinbrecher first the next time I need septic work or a contruction dumpster
