Kenny exceeded our expectations. We have a very old front door that leaked a lot of cold air, and he prepped it for winter (weather stripping, patching a hole, installing film over the windows of the doors). Will hire again for any future "handyman" needs.

Natalie has been cleaning for us for several years, and her husband Dennis just recently began offering handyman services, so when they were last here he removed the old weatherstripping around the steel door to our garage (which was basically disintegrating and falling off) and replaced it with new weatherstripping that we had purchased. He answered all my questions very knowledgeably and did a terrific job! We will be hiring him again for other handyman services

ERIC'S HANDYMAN SERVICE
Eric responded quickly to my call, came out to give me an estimate when he said he would. He scheduled a day to do the work and then ended up calling me the day before because he had hurt his leg and wasn't going to be able to make it. He came the next day, though, and I really appreciated how on top of the whole thing he was--lots of peolple would have just not shown up. He removed old weather stripping from the door between the garage and the house and replaced it with new molding/weather stripping and also graded the bottom of the door so that there was room for an entry rug. Also adjusted an upstairs bedroom door that did not close properly. He did a good job and I would hire him again

The front door threshold really looks nice now. Rob and his helper were very professional and personable. A piece of very old and worn weather striping was attached to the wooden threshold and did not look nice. The old weather strip was removed. A new weather strip was attached to the bottom of the door. The wooden threshold was sanded down and finished was applied

The worker that was sent was very professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. After he replaced the weather-stripping on my front door and the door from the garage into the house, I asked him about the door from the garage to the backyard that was replaced a year before because I noticed gaps between the door and frame. The weather-stripping that was on it when purchased was inadequate and he installed thicker weather-stripping on it to make sure it would be properly sealed when closed. He then proceeded to insulate all outlets along the exterior walls and caulk around the interior of each window frame. After that he did a thorough inspection of the insulation in the roof and even took me around the house with a thermal imaging device to show me other areas of my house which could be allowing cold air to come in and gave me tips on what to do about them since they were beyond the services that were included in the big deal I purchased

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was more like 5 hours because I asked him to do some additional things and he was very good. He could recommend the correct materials, he knew exactly this kind of stripping and not that, why this lock is better than that one, that kind of thing. He did so much work for such a modest price. I guess it was $125 because of the additional work I requested but I still felt that it was an excellent deal. Labor itself is the most costly part of a lot of these services and I felt that he was quite reasonable with the time that he spent. He went about his work quietly and got it done and asked questions when he needed to and also he seemed to be a true handyman. He knew what type of materials and things that were needed and what was better than others. He would be the definition of a good handyman, I think he knows his stuff

This was a great experience. John was quick to respond to the message I sent through Angie's List. He asked clarifying questions, offered possible solutions, and gave me options of how and when I could contact him. When he came to look at the light and other items on my list, he was on-time and professional. He asked questions and was patient with all of mine. After a couple weeks I was ready to have the door fixed and reached back out to him. Again, he was quick to respond and patient with my many questions. He and his brother came yesterday to fix the door and do additional electrical work. They were on time (which is important to me) and focused on quality by taking care of even the small details.
