THE OVEN WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, SO IT WAS NO CHARGE. THE REP SAID IT WAS TOP PRIORITY, AND HAD THE NEEDED PART OVERNIGHTED BY UPS TO THE PLACE THAT WAS GOING TO DO THE REPAIR. I WAS IMPRESSED.

The receptionist and techs were both very pleasant and professional. They were always very neat and careful while doing their work. The estimate was consistent with the final cost to repair.

Chad was communicative and let us know when he needed to reschedule to wait for the part. He went the extra mile to do the work and yet only charged minimum. The oven works now, and we are very pleased with the service.

They ordered some expensive parts, but when that didn't fix the problem, they didn't charge me for them.

Mark came out to the house within 24 hours of when I called him. Unfortunately, my oven is and quot;deadand quot; and can't be fixed, but he provided me with suggestions on replacements and other considerations. I appreciated his quick response and honesty.

Oven was taking much longer to preheat and dryer would only stay hot for half of dry cycle. Brent arrived slightly after the appointment window due to a job on the other side of town, but was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He identified the problems quickly and explained the needed repairs clearly. After asking for approval, he completed the repairs quickly with OEM parts he had in the truck. I would definitely use Watson's Appliance again

We could no longer set the temperature on our wall oven after doing a self-cleaning cycle. The touch panel did not appear to be working properly. The technician confirmed this. He also said the control board needed to be replaced because the digital display was dim. He told me the unit could not be repaired because replacement parts were no longer available. We would need to buy a new oven. As it turned out, the control panel did not need to be replaced. The digital screen was just dusty. Once I cleaned it off, it looked and worked just fine. I had, incidentally, told the technician it might be a good idea to get rid of the greasy dust on the control board, but he ignored this. We did not need to replace the oven either. I told the technician we could probably get a replacement part for the touch panel from another company. That was indeed the case. The technician would not order that part, however, because it had not been authorized by Whirlpool, the maker of the oven. As I mentioned to the technician, the important thing was to find a part that worked properly, authorized or not. I do not pretend to be an expert on the subject, but I imagine Whirlpool would not authorize any company to make parts for their appliances that did not involve a licensing agreement, their logo on the panel, and additional fees for testing at Whirlpool. I ordered the part from Fixyouroboard.com, which has received nothing but good reviews. The company tests every part they send out and offers a two-year warranty . They provided a video link on how to install the touch panel. This required turning off the breaker switch that powered the oven, a little manual dexterity, and a few common tools. The repair was completely successful. We like the feel and placement of the touch-panel buttons better than the original buttons from Whirlpool. A comparable replacement for our oven would have cost around $1,000.00. If we had followed the recommendation from Tony's Appliance, we would have lost a lot of money

I couldn't provide needed info. Sergio came to my house, got the wall oven far enough out of its place to find the numbers needed, replaced it and ordered parts. Given this was late on the 21st, we're at the end of the year, and the oven isn't one of the standard brands, getting the part might take a bit. I'm sure once the part arrives, he will return. I could do a better job of rating if the entire process was complete, but so far so good

The owner, Al, is a very competent appliance service man. When he worked on our oven control circuitry, he did a significant amount of diagnostic work to be sure he was replacing exactly the right parts. This was intended to save us money. He subsequently replaced the glass in the oven door, which was a much simpler job, but he had exactly the right parts with him, which made the job go smoothly

At my request he checked on the cost of a new control panel. Because of the cost of the part and the age of the oven, I determined that I would replace the oven and not repair it.

We could no longer set the temperature on our Whirlpool oven after doing a self-clean cycle. A service technician said the touch panel and control board were damaged. Because Whirlpool is no longer making these parts, he said we would have to buy a new oven. The cost of replacing the oven would be around $1,000.00. By doing a search online, I discovered the parts were available from Fixyourboard.com. The service technician would not use these parts because they were not authorized by Whirlpool. I don't claim to be an expert on this subject, but I imagine Whirlpool would require a licensing agreement, their logo on the touch panel, and fees for testing the parts at Whirlpool. As I mentioned to the technician, the important thing was to find parts that work properly, authorized or not. The representative at Fixyourboard.com said I probably did not need a new control board because our oven was still heating properly at 350--we just couldn't change the temperature. That was an immediate savings of about $200.00. The representative recommended a new touch panel for about $175.00 and sent us a video link for instructions on how to install it. The components on the touch panel were tested and came with a two-year warranty. I was able to install the new touch panel myself with a few common household tools and a little manual dexterity. We like the feel and placement of the buttons on this panel better than the original Whirlpool panel. The panel looks and works great. For once in our lives, we feel like we won a battle with the major appliance companies. We were not forced into buying a new and expensive appliance because of their failure to provide parts for earlier models. We are especially happy because many of the newer appliances today do not appear to be built as well as older models, as noted by both service technicians and reviewers online. If you decide to replace a touch panel or control board yourself, I have a few suggestions. Turn off the power to the oven at the circuit panel. Put a towel over the top of the oven door to protect the tiny wires on the control board when it flops down. When inserting the plastic circuit tape into the control board, you may need another pair of hands to keep the circuit tape attached to the plastic terminal as you snap everything in place--otherwise the circuit tape tens to pop out before you can snap everything together. Alternately, if working alone, you may want to use a piece of easy-release 3/4 inch painter's tape to attach the circuit tape to the plastic terminal. Carefully remove the painter's tape when the circuit tape is secure in the terminal on the board. Finally, dust off the digital screen display on your old control board--it will be brighter without the dust

Appliance repair was good to schedule, prompt, provided reminder call, and were professional. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix 6 year old wall oven today, and instead suggested extensive repairs with "hard-to-get" parts (the manufacturer says parts are readily available.). On a previous visit, did not fix the frost-free refrigerator that was not frost-free, but provided enough information so I took it apart and fixed it myself. Will try another vendor

MAK Daddy Professional Services Inc

MAK Daddy was recommended to us by Appliance Smart when we bought the appliances. He had set prices for each piece with some additional costs for miscellaneous parts. We got a quote over the phone, and his employees showed up right after the appliances were delivered so they could install everything the same day for us. They even picked up the stovetop and microhood to save us some delivery fees. We were very impressed with their quick efficient service
The problem was diagnosed, technician not “certified” to work on LG. I was able to contact LG and let them know what the problem was. The element for the oven needed to be ordered and will be replaced this week.
We have an insurance. So when we call the insurance they will give a name of whom to contact. It works like that. If we have any issues with electronics they will give a contact number to contact. We called them and they gave us the plumbers number. We called him and made an appointment and he fixed it. If it exceeds $70 your plans have a limit. The deductible we have to pay. We did not go to them for a lot of things just one. The first experience was fine of everything. We have not used them a lot of times. They fixed the call quick
We bought a gas range from Carlson a couple of years ago and recently noticed that the finish on the oven door was peeling. I contacted Carlson and spoke to Matt, who ordered a new door from the manufacturer and had an employee replace the door. All we had to pay was a modest trip charge. It’s really good to work with people who stand behind what they sell

My washer and dryer are about eight and a half years old. He diagnosed the problem correctly because we were able to fix it ourselves. My husband bought the parts and did it and that was exactly what was wrong. He was super friendly and informative and he was helpful when I asked him questions about what brands he recommended
Danny was very professional and did a great job. He fixed a broken valve on our stove and replaced several items on our fridge. He was quick and thorough.
On 2 different ocassions I have needed my dryer repaired and have been absolutely amazed by the above & beyond service I received. When the heating unit in my dryer needed replacing Jane advised that my vent duct design was the cause and explained how I could save money and "Do It Myself" !!! THANK YOU JANE for your time & attention. It is appreciated !!
Jon called me back promptly and notified me of the high cost of the parts he encountered when trying to get them from Viking, as well as Viking's unfortunate no-return policy. I really appreciate his honesty, and instead of charging me a high cost for parts that we may not need, he instead referred me to two other companies that work more often with Viking appliances and should be able to give me a better quote. Although we weren't able to work with Direct Home Appliance Service this time around, I'll call him first with any other trouble I have with appliances in my home

What do customers in Saint Paul say about Wall Oven Installation?
We've tried to have this problem fixed before, but were told it couldn't be fixed and that we'd have to replace the whole oven unit (not just the microwave). Northland were quick to schedule, and punctual. The guy was friendly and courteous, and took his shoes off (nice touch). He created a workspace for himself by covering the kitchen counter to avoid any scratching. Took the whole unit apart, tracked down the problem and fixed it! Fantastic service. Would definitely use them again.
