From start to finish, I was very happy with Performance Floorcovering. I received an estimate from Ron (one of the owners) in mid-October. I was so impressed with him and with reviews on Angie's List, that I cancelled two appointments that I'd already set up with other flooring companies. My kitchen floor is beautiful! The workmanship is outstanding. On the day of the install a couple of collectibles fell off of a shelf in the kitchen. As a precaution, I should have taken these items off of the shelf, but just forgot to do so. A couple of pieces broke. Even though it was a mistake (one I could have prevented), Ron said he'd like to replace these items for me. He asked that I send him screen shots of the items. Within a couple of hours after the job was completed, Ron had already searched eBay and ordered me replacements. He went above and beyond!! In the future I will only work with this company for my flooring needs. They're honest, professional and prompt. It was a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend Performance Floorcovering

NEIL'S FLOOR COVERING
I purchased about 1,000 square feet of luxury vinyl plank flooring from Neil's which they installed in October of 2015. I could have saved a couple of dollars per square foot buying from a chain, but I thought it was important to buy locally. Boy, was I wrong!!! I had carefully orchestrated movers, painters, Neil's Floor Covering, and the movers to put my furniture back. Neil's called the day before they were scheduled to say that they had to finish a "big job" and had to push my installation out a day. Luckily my mover was OK with coming back a day later. Because of the delay, I couldn't be there when they laid the floor, so I have reservations that they actually laid the brand-name floor that I bought. I have pictures of the box of leftovers they left and they have torn off all evidence of brand names and color names - why would they do that if that if they were installing the name brand I ordered?? After looking at my flooring for several months, I decided that there was a flaw in Neil's installation. So I started calling them in July of 2016. After many more calls from me, they finally sent someone out to "fix" my floor in December 2016 - 6 months after I originally called them to report the problem. When the guy finally came out to fix the problem, he actually made it worse. He discovered that there was a rock under the plank that was causing the problem (why didn't the initial installers notice that - it was about the size of a walnut - not easily ignored!). So the fixer guy lifted up that plank and pulled out the rock, but when he tried to put the plank back, it was obvious that something was wrong. Since it was early December and the fixer guy said they were really busy through the holiday and I was going to be out of town for Christmas, when he asked if I could wait to have it fixed until after the holidays, I said, Sure, no problem. I waited until March to hear from Neil's and didn't hear anything, so I finally called them and was told that my repair was their "NUMBER ONE PRIORITY" but it would take some planning because they would need to send two people. Now it's June, and I still haven't heard anything back. I just called them and Sheila told me that she would call me back tomorrow with a date that they can come fix my floor. Stay tuned....I have NO confidence that they will fix my floor any time soon, since it's been over a year and a half since they screwed it up

Original stairs were unsafe and poorly built. All Around rebuilt the stairs and they are very sturdy and strong. I had them also install vinyl plank flooring (wood grain) turned out great. Having them bid on two other project's all ready.

The work that Greg and his team did for me was great. This is the second time Greg has helped me, the first being back when the tornado came through Minneapolis and I needed a new roof and garage. This time I had attempted to have a store replace some really bad vinyl tile laid over linoleum and put down a new floor. The store pulled up the old floor but because the subfloor was "uneven" they would not lay the new floor. My house is over 100 years old and it was mid-summer so I was having difficulty finding someone to fix the subfloor. Greg came out (a long way, too!) and took a look. I had some other odds and ends that I needed done too--a leaking ceiling because of a window frame, a handrail for some outside steps and changing out the way my gas oven was connected--and Greg agreed to help me with those items as well. His team was available right away and they were wonderful! It did not take them long at all to fix my problems. The store where I purchased my new flooring eventually sent someone to lay the flooring but they did not feel the subfloor was even enough. There is only so much you can do with a house that is 100+ years old. I called Greg again and he was more than willing to send his floor guys to my rescue again. Everything turned out to be fabulous. The ceiling no longer leaks, my outside steps are safe, and Greg even referred my gas oven problem to his plumber so that got fixed as well. Most importantly, my new flooring is beautiful! I definitely recommend Building Renewal and will use them again

We shopped around and ended up at this store because it was near the other competitor's locations and we had purchased from Carpet King in the past. We were met by Paulino (Paul) and explained what we wanted. We eventually selected an and quot;in-stockand quot; Stainmaster carpet that was prominently displayed at the entrance and marked and quot;on saleand quot;. He gave us a couple of large samples to take home so we could check out the colors. The large samples were especially nice compared to what the other stores had offered and that's primarily what sold us. When I got home, I checked out the carpet specs on the manufacturers website and learned it wasn't actually Stainmaster - it was a different brand's product, but still very good quality. I brought this up when I returned to the store and Paul agreed that it wasn't Stainmaster and the price was now different than originally stated. He made a call to confirm that he could honor the originally stated price, but informed us that he could no longer discount the price of the pad as we had dicussed because of the mixup. This really felt like a bait and switch tactic, but we had too much time invested and the total price was still competitive and fit our budget. In a few days, an estimator came out to measure and Paul followed up to let us know that my estimated square footage was good and the original price was still close. However, the carpet was out of stock and would take 7-10 days for delivery, but I agreed to place the order anyhow. A week later, Paul called to schedule the installation and I explained that we wanted to include a small (2' x 4') closet at the base of the stairs because we had allowed enough material, but he said it wasn't on the estimator's blueprint and couldn't guarantee it could be done - and quot;but we could lay the scraps in the closetand quot;. At this point, I was starting to lose my patience with Paul and let him know the closet would be included or they would need to cancel the order. A few days later the installers showed up (1.5 hrs late from what Paul told us) and the two guys went right to work. They were very nice to work with and said that it wasn't noted on the paperwork, but the closet was not a problem and they would be happy to include it. They did a nice job and finished in about 3 hours. It seems like a new home and we're very happy with the look, feel, and quality of our carpet selection. My overall impression: very poor customer service from the store, but great customer service from the installers

I contacted Brian about him installing new back splash in my kitchen and within 24 hours, he was at my house measuring and able to give me an estimate on how much it would cost. He suggested I buy all the materials myself, that way I was able to pick out the exact tiles I wanted. He gave me a list of everything I needed and told me where I could go to get the best deals. I was able to schedule an appointment with him to install the back splash the very next weekend. I was going to remove the old back splash tiles myself and have Brian install the new ones. Because of the age of my kitchen, I had a very difficult time trying to remove the tiles without damaging the sheet rock. I informed Brian I was having a tough time and he told me not to worry about it, he would take care of it. He came in and removed it all without any problems or damage to the wall. He then began installing the new tiles, which took him no time at all. In one weekend, he was able to removed and install all the kitchen back splash. Because of his suggestions, knowledge and experience, it turned out even better than I imagined. Brian also installed vinyl flooring in my kitchen back in 2014. He removed all my appliances and furniture, removed the old flooring, installed the new flooring and put all the appliances and furniture back in place all in a weekend. He did an amazing job which is why I called him again to install the back splash. Brian's rates are very reasonable, he is dependable and does amazing work. I have and would recommend him for any kind of remodeling jobs you have in your house. He takes alot of pride in his work, which you can tell and does an excellent job

Following is my review of Anton’s Floorcovering work on our home. We had them put in vinyl plank flooring and carpeting. We were very happy with working with Anton and his work crews. We were referred to him by my brother who is quite particular and was very satisfied. The two things that stood out most for us was his level of experience/expertise and his high expectations for his company’s service level and customer satisfaction. We had received an estimate from another company that insisted that the subfloor had to be replaced, to the tune of $3,500. When Anton did his estimate, he walked on the carpeted floor and then stated his judgment that the subfloor would likely be OK, but that we couldn’t be sure until the carpet was removed. Well, he was right. The subfloor was OK and the floating vinyl plank installed just fine. Regarding his high standards for customer satisfaction, his carpet installer made a mistake on our stairs. Anton was on it within just a couple of hours of notification and was far more focused on it then we were. And we wound up with a solution that was far better than what we would have had had there not been a mistake made. Nice service recovery! So, based on our and my brother’s experience, I give Anton’s Floorcovering 5 stars
