He repaired three light fixtures we asked about. We also asked about some caulk work in the bathroom and hooking up a wall heater in our bathroom. The heater we purchased didn't fit well so Ben offered to come back and install the heater once we found a good fit

PRESTIGE POOLS
My 10 year old pool heater required replacement of a failed control module. Prestige recommended replacement of the heater due to the age. My heater was replaced in April of 2010. In August of 2011 the heater began to leak after 1 year of use. Upon inspection by Prestige, it was determined the heat exchanger had corroded and required replacement. It was assumed the manufacturer, Raypac, would repair the heater under warranty. The local Raypac representative inspected the heater and denied the claim blaming the water quality. The claim was escalated to Raypac's headquarters where they also denied the claim blaming the water quality. When Raypac was asked to specifically identify what was bad with the water quality they were unable to and suggested I bring a sample to a water professional for testing. In the spring of 2012, Prestige offered to repair the heater at no cost to us. We have been customers of Prestige for over 11 years and this is typical of the service we receive. When we have experienced problems over the past 11+ years, Prestige has provided outstanding service providing information and/or repairs as needed. We have other pool stores close to our home but choose to drive a considerable distance to Prestige. I would highly recommend Prestige to anyone looking to install or service a pool

MCFARLAND HOTWATER TECHNOLOGY CO
I bought the house with a broken hot tub and I have used McFarland hot tub 2 times now for fixing my hot tub parts. The first time, he had to undo some mistakes from a previous fix that someone else did and at the time he told me my heater was probably going to go within 6 months to a year and 6 months later it went. I like the fact that know so much about hot tubs and only fix what needs to be fixed. This time, he referred back to notes he had taken on the first trip and fixed some other problems with the heater wiring too. He was in and out within an hour which I thought was super quick but within the time he quoted. He told me 6 months ago that it would be $1000 and he was right on so it was nice to be able to plan for that money

The company we got the water heater from gave us a new one, but we were not handy enough to install it ourselves, so we called them. We thought that the pricing was fair. I used Prestige Pools for the first time to replace a worn out pool heater. They promptly returned my call and asked appropriate questions about my pool since they had never serviced it before. Their price was similar to other pool dealers. They stocked and recommended a better quality heater than my local dealer which was important to me to avoid future down-time and service calls. They accommodated my schedule for the install date even though it's a busy time of the year for them. The service tech, Bob, was great. When he was plumbing in the new heater, he went out of his way to correct an unrelated plumbing issue at no additional charge - in my experience this is rare in the pool service industry. So far the heater works and there are no leaks. I was happy with their service, their price was fair, and I plan to use them again in the future

Totally painless installation. Tech had to leave for some parts, but got the job done just fine. I was still waiting for my tile guys to finish, so it was a week or so before pool was full so I could power this up. Easy to run, got used to doing a few new chemistry tests and using acid to reduce the pH. I am not fond of the manual, which seems to skip around a bit when it could be simpler, but this is really an easy sanitation system. Pool water has been sparkly blue - I just skim leaves and run my robot, test pH, copper and hardness weekly, adjust pH, switch to ionize for a day a week, and add a little shock after big rainstorms. A vast improvement over the bromine I used previously. Water is really nice now

I had an outdoor Jacuzzi spa heater pump go out. I had about 48 hours to try to get it fixed before the water would freeze and create more of a mess for me. It was Saturday morning and most places were closed or would not come out till late Monday. I called Spa Squad and talked to James the owner. I told him of the situation and he said, "let me see what I can do." James rearranged his schedule and was out within two hours. The pump was fixed quick and no more worries. I would definitely use again
