It was a great experience working with Norske Electric from start to finish. Brevik was able to give me a quote over text after I sent him photo of our circuit breaker box. We needed 41 electrical outlets, 16 light switches replaced & a new outlet installed in the garage. He scheduled 2 electricians about 6 weeks out & responded to our questions promptly. Cameron & Juan arrived on time & were very organized & methodical in assessing the work of the day & in clarifying our plans. They offered information & were knowledgeable about the proper height for our dining room chandelier while always affirming personal preferences. They advised us about purchasing light fixtures for our utility & laundry rooms. We have an additional project which involves removing wood paneling from our family room walls. They offered to take the paneling off in the areas where we need electrical outlets installed or to return after the building contractor has removed the paneling which would be less costly. They completed this work in a day & were very easy to have in our home. We will hire them again in the next few months to complete installations of outlets & light fixtures. We were very pleased with the work performed by Tommy's electric (see below for list of work). Tommy was able to provide an estimate via email based on the list of repairs needed, and the final invoice was in line with the estimate. The electrician arrived on time and was very professional and a good communicator. The price seemed a little high, but it does appear to match the going rate for electricians. The lead time for service was about 3 weeks. This was fine for us since we were not in a hurry. The electrician did come and go twice during the work - went to a construction site when they were ready for him. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely contact Tommy's for any future electrical work. List of updates: Run wire and install outlet for garage door opener Run wire and install outlet for lawn mower / snow blower Replace outside outlet that is loose. Remove three basement hardwired ceiling lights and add two electrical outlets for new lighting. Hook outlets into existing control switch. Correct dual control light switch – not working correctly

I contracted Hero to install electrical outlets in my newly remodeled kitchen. After the electrician installed the first outlet on my new kitchen island, noticed some damage to the island and asked him to be more careful. He apologized and then proceeded to install outlets underneath my new upper cabinets damaging those as well. Hero's response after seeing the photos of damage was that they were not liable although they agreed to do the work and cashed my check for almost. $1500.00. They offered to credit me one hundred dollars to my Visa account which doesn't even begin to fix the repairs needed to the cabinetry. They were careless in my home and caring even less in resolving the matter

John arrived promptly and got to work. The install was tricky as there had never been an overhead light in the room and there was virtually no access. However, he's a very seasoned pro obviously because he figured it out quickly. The light we purchased, along with a dimmer switch and a new outlet were installed quickly and professionally. He even fixed some wiring and installed a new plate on an old light switch in the same room. Appointment scheduled for between 10 and 12 noon on 4/13. Did not hear from them on the day of the appointment. I called around 11.38 a.m. to find out if they are coming. The Office said they are running behind and will be there by about 12.15. Immediately afterwards, the tech called and said they are coming in 15 minutes. They came as promised - at 12 noon. The estimate for the job WITH THE COUPON was about $485. I decided it was too much to pay for this job. Basically, they had to only install the new outlet 5' away from the existing outlet on the same wall by fishing a line. He wanted to replace the breaker, and also replace the existing microwave outlet to a different outlet (reset). The house has been built in 1997. I have hired electricians for many jobs previously and honestly, I think this was way too much

I bought this service as an Angie's Big Deal. I had to wait more than a month to schedule the call. The electricians that did the work arrived within the time period and installed the outside electrical outlet. The work was done right and I am happy. However, I am not happy about the price. I paid $69.00 for $200.00 of electrical work. I was not informed when I bought the package or when I scheduled the work that I would have to pay a service fee. I have had many contractor in my house, and I have always been told up front of a service fee. It took the electricians less than 45 minutes to install the outlet and it cost me an additional $185.75. So, if you consider I bought $200 of electrical work plus the additional $185.75 I paid - this outside outlet cost $385.75. I think this was over priced. As I said - I am happy with the work, but I don't not think I would use them again because of the cost

Tom came to my house the day after I called to do an estimate. He then mailed the estimate a couple days later. When I scheduled the work, Tom called at the time he was due to arrive and said that he was running about 10 minutes late, which I appreciated. He then placed plastic sheeting on the floors of the work areas and got to work. He was careful to ask me my opinion on a couple matters while he was working, and he completely cleaned up after himself when he was finished. My new outlets look very professional. I would definitely use Tom again for any electrical needs I might have in the future

This is the second time I have used Harrison and have had a great experience both times. I contacted them about an issue I was having with one of my outlets and the receptionist was great. They had me scheduled for an appointment within 24 hours. I received a call from the electrician 15 minutes before their arrival and they were well within the appointment window. He listened intently to the issue and spent time looking through the basement to diagnose the problem. Once he recognized that the work that had been done before was poor quality and posed a significant fire hazard, he offered to replace all nine outlets in the basement and worked with me on pricing. He was done within an hour and even took the time to open up the fuse box to ensure there were not any additional issues. He was pleasant to deal with and I appreciate the fact that he went the extra mile to give me peace of mind. Since this was the third employee from this company that treated me well, I have to believe they are doing something right
