Duane's Floor Service Inc
Nick came to my home and was easy and pleasant to discuss the laminate flooring job with. Duane’s Floor Service, despite the office staff stating they typically charge more, price matched an early bid for my large laminate floor (3 rooms) and stairs job. I didn’t get a good read on the office staff, but it was easy to tell that Nick was there to do a quality job – he listened to and worked to remedy my concerns, was helpful in discussing options, and thought of other considerations to make my floors look their best. He had the assistance of another worker for some of the job and they were both friendly. Apparently most laminate, when needed, can simply be scored and snapped to proper size. But my laminate was thicker which took more time when a section needed to be cut with a saw. The day he came to work on the steps there was a Huge snow storm. I told him he could reschedule, but he chose to come out and finish the job. He noticed that my stairs squeaked and added more brace under the steps to decrease it. I’m very happy with the job. The floors look great and the steps better. I have no reservations in recommending Nick, will definitely attempt to get his assistance for any floor job I need in the future, and believe you will be very pleased with the job he can do for you. Tom was available very quickly when I called to set an appointment. He brought over some samples for us to preview and then provided an estimate to me immediately. Dan came to install the floors and was very courteous and did a wonderful job installing the floors which had some tricky angles to tackle. My husband had contemplated doing the work himself but had decided against it. The people at Sigstad's were really good and helpful. The selection that they had was not bad. There were some places that had bigger selections but they just happened to have what we really liked. Carlo, the person that they had installing, came in and did the work in a couple of hours. I?m looking at it right now and it is still just about as good as the day he put it in. They offered the best price compared to everybody else. The total cost was around $800 or $900 and it included the labor cost as well. Their products were priced better than just about everybody else?s. When compared to estimates that we received from other companies, there wasn?t a huge gap between what we ended up spending with Sigstad's as opposed to what we would have spent at other places. That is why I would consider their labor cost as being pretty competitive. I would use them in the future, if necessary

The end result was beautiful and they not only were timely in finishing the project, but were very careful and went the extra mile to create beautiful detailing on the baseboards and other transition areas. We hired Timberwolf in 2017 when we renovated the main level of our home. We had added a sunroom and wanted to add hardwood flooring to that addition plus some previously carpeted areas. Lance & Craig seamlessly tied in the new flooring to the existing & updated the stain color. The result was beautiful! In early 2020, the water line to our refrigerator burst and some of our floors were damaged. After the restoration company tore up some of the flooring and dried everything out there was no question in our minds that we would call Timberwolf. They just completed the work and you would never know the floors had been damaged. We highly recommend them

The crew worked really hard, clearly having experience with a system to set up scaffolding on an uneven slope and a method to get buckets of debris down and new bricks and mortar up. And, they seemed to get along and work together really well. It was a long day that takes commitment and energy! Joe was very patient with our long decision making process, always responding in an amazingly timely manner. He also did a great job finding an assortment of brick colors to blend with the original. UV Cure is amazing! It is such a convenience to be able to access the refinished area immediately after the UV cure is completed. The finish is extremely durable and looks amazing. In some areas, the installed laminate floor was about 1/2 inch lower than the original carpet and pad. This resulted in baseboards, vertical door frame pieces, and 2 door thresholds ending 1/2 inch above laminate in those areas. I emailed Rick that night. Rick and the installer came out first thing the next morning and came up with some creative ways to correct the problem. The 2 door thresholds are still 1/2 inch higher than they originally were, but we expect/hope we'll get used to that. We were very pleased with out quickly Rick responded to the problem

Instead of telling me what they like and don't like about flooring they gave me the pro's and con's about each product in an unbiased manner (other stores kept steering me toward pergo for some reason). Everything went well with the install, it happened on time, and there were no surprises. The showroom has more samples than big box retailers.
