I was sick of dry air and wanted a central humidifier installed as soon as possible. Boehm was very upfront about the price $275 or $375, depending on the size of the unit (we went with the more powerful one), but they said that it probably wouldn't be installed for a couple weeks since the beginning of winter was their busy season. For this reason, I continued to shop around. I found another place that would install one the next day, but they wouldn't give me a price (said they would come out and quote me on the spot, and that it would cost me 75 bucks to turn them down). That sounded a little shady. Other places would also take a few weeks to install, and they quoted between $350-900 for the installation of the same type of unit. In the end, we came back to Boehm and they ended up installing it a few days later anyway! Mike was quick and clean. I am very satisfied with both, the work and the product, for over a month now

In the past I have taken my snow blower in to be tuned up, but it seems to never last the winter without giving me problems. So I had Tom take a look at it. He cleaned the carburetor and made some adjustments, and it has worked great all winter. And this winter it has really gotten a workout. Also, the humidifier connected to my furnace was not working. Tom isolated and fixed the problem, which was the switch controller. He also replaced the water supply saddle valve, that showed signs of leaking, with a new high quality valve (I supplied the parts). He said that saddle valves can be problematic. Over the past few years I have had Tom out to my house a number of times. He has done everything from replacing my toilet, repairing leaky pipes and water damaged walls, replaced electrical fixtures, drywall repair and ceiling texturing, and painted my wrought iron railing. I have liked all his work but I think he really "shines" at drywall repair and painting. If I ever have any concerns with work he preformed, he is always quick to come out and make it right

Our furnace was making a very loud shaking sound every time the heat kicked on. In the past we had used a larger regional shop for maintenance but they were booked for weeks so I decided to search Angie's List for a local shop hoping to get it fixed sooner. Despite it being the week of Thanksgiving Zack answered on the first call and was able to get out a couple days later. Upon inspection he realized we needed a new assembly and got the part ordered for our older furnace, coming back early the following week to install it. We found him very professional, clean, and responsive. My wife and young child were home during the services calls and we're totally comfortable with him. And he didn't charge us for coming out twice, combining the inspection and repair into one call - something the larger shop we had used in the past didn't do. Our neighbors from down the road actually texted my wife having seen his van in the driveway and said they had used him for a repair a couple weeks prior and we're happy with the service as well. My furnace was shut down when it was tune up by another company because it was leaking CO. I did some research on internec found Lennox is good brand to trust, contact two Lennox dealer, got both quotes, From costco I got Marsh heating, his quotes a little higher than another company, but later he matched the price. I got extra costco warranty. The worker come on the morning and finished their job right on time. The new furnace is 97 percent of efficiency and noise are much lower than before. They also installed new humidifier, it runs good too

MY WIFE AND I PLAN TO STAY IN THIS HOME FOR A LONG TIME, AND WE PLAN TO BUILD AN ADDITION TO THE SIDE OF OUR HOME. THE EXISTING 16-YEAR OLD FURNACE AND 13-YEAR OLD AIR CONDITIONER WERE TOO SMALL. FURTHERMORE, THE EXISTING A/C WAS DOING A POOR JOB COOLING THE EXISTING HOUSE, AND IT HAD TO BE MOVED FROM THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE TO THE BACK TO ALLOW FOR THE ADDITION. FOR THE NEW A/C WE CHOOSE ECO-FRIENDLY COOLANT. AN IMPORTANT CONCERN THAT WE HAD WAS MOISTURE ON THE WINDOWS THAT WAS CAUSING ROT AND MOLD. I DISCONNECTED THE CENTRAL HUMIDIFIER BECAUSE OF THIS. JASON EXPLAINED HOW AN AIR EXCHANGER WOULD SOLVE THIS. WE ALSO HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT AIR FILTERING AS MANY IN OUR FAMILY HAVE ALLERGIES, SO WE UPGRADED FROM A 1'' THICK FILTER TO A 5'' FILTER. JASON'S BID WAS THE EASIEST OF THE 4 TO UNDERSTAND. HE CLEARLY EXPLAINED THE SCOPE AND COST OF HIS WORK. ON OUR SCHEDULED DAY JASON RUMPCA & CREW SHOWED UP ON-TIME. THEY COVERED THE STAIRS, THEN REMOVED THE OLD A/C & PIPING, OLD FURNACE, AND SOME

He assessed and tested and tweaked the radiators and furnace and discovered that yes, it was slightly frozen, but also full of too much air, the water was low, and someone had turned off an important valve that bleeds out the extra air. He fixed it all up in about a half an hour and the radiators are now warming up

A furnace inspection before the winter heating season started revealed a cracked heat exchanger, prompting us to get some estimates for a new furnace. Our A/C was equally old (about 27 years old) so we decided to replace that as well. Ditter was towards the cheaper end of the estimates we received and we liked the quality of the products they offered as well as their recommendations on heating/cooling capacity needed. The installation wasn't the most straightforward but it was completed in 2 1/2 days, mostly with one person working by themselves. We've been happy in the two years since the work was done with no issues with the equipment and some pretty substantial savings over what our old furnace and A/C cost

Some of the things I like most are that they are locally owned, not a franchise, they respond quickly, call if they are running late for some reason, and have often shown me how I can fix a simple problem myself. For example, the igniter on my furnace is prone to oxidizing and then will not light. They showed me how easy it is to remove, clean, and put it back in myself rather than paying them to come out once or twice a heating season. Honesty like that goes a long way !!
