Tom the plumber arrived on time, and completed the work in about 1 hour, as he had estimated. He supplied the replacement disposal at a price ($90) comparable to the best price I could find from any plumbing equipment supplier on the internet, which was about 30% below retail cost for the unit I selected. Labor made up the remainder of their charges- so about $150/hour for the plumber. That's reasonable for someone who knows what they are doing. In the past, I've had ''children'' show up to do a job I've arranged with an established service company. He seemed very experienced, skillful, and cleaned up after himself. Tom also answered my other plumbing questions about tree root invasion of sewer lines and a one-way float valve in a basement drain. I highly recommend Zell Plumbing for any service calls (if you can get Tom to do the work)

I called three plumbers, frantic because of the large amount of leakage and only two days before Thanksgiving. I was unable to use the kitchen sink or the dishwasher due to the leakage. I called three plumbers, and Terry Overacker Plumbing was the only place that answered my call rather than going to voicemail. They had a service person in my area. He was here within the hour. The service person, JR, carefully explained the types of disposals they had to offer and gave me the pricing. He then installed the new disposal efficiently. The disposal is great - we took the higher-end model. It is quiet and has a nice warranty, and most importantly, no more leak! I was very happy that they got someone to my house so quickly and did a great job. JR was very personable. I would hire this company again with no hesitation

It went very well, the repairman came out the same day, determined it wasn't worth repairing so returned the next day with a new disposal. I only paid the service fee, they replaced the disposal ($150) plus whatever a normal service call would cost, I am very happy with this service and will continue to keep my warranty in place. Very personable and effective customer service, I would recommend this service

Excellent Job and truly PROFESSIONAL..... We recently purchased the home which was built in 1980 and I believe the bathroom exhaust fans were original to the house. I called the office on Monday morning to inquire and the appointment was set up for 2 days after my initial call. Ron & Luke showed up exactly on time. Our home is a split level entry with one bathroom on the main level and one bathroom on the lower basement level. After initial inspection of what was going where they quickly got to work and started on the main level bathroom fan replacement. They laid out drop cloths to help contain the mess from cutting a larger hole in the ceiling plus the mess from the blown insulation from the attic. As one technician worked from the bathroom level the other was up in the attic. I purchased a 130 CFM fan which recommends a 6 inch exhaust pipe and they had all the equipment needed to replace the current 4 inch pipe with a 6 inch plus the new pipe they used is insulated which comes in handy in the winter months up in the attic where it can get below freezing. Just under 2 hours later they had the new exhaust fan completely installed in the main bathroom and everything working perfectly. They even cleaned up EVERY spec of dust created during the process and made sure everything was sealed tightly and flowing properly. Actually even went as far as "fluffing" up the insulation in the attic back to how it was before they started the project. Then it was time to tackle the lower level bathroom fan which I will say has VERY limited access due to the ceiling being completely sheet-rocked and finished. Ron & Luke worked as a team once again and were able to gain access to the old fan from the backside unfinished laundry room but space was very tight given current plumbing fixtures and piping plus the finished sheet rocked ceiling. They must have some magic trick or something because before I knew it they had the old fan out and the new one it place plus everything sealed up and working. They also replaced the outside housing cover that is one the side of the house and made sure everything was working properly plus air tight including caulking around outside housing cover. Then it was on the replacing the dry vent pipe plus upgrading it to the smooth steel type. We had the old flexible type that catches all the lint on ridges. By replacing the dryer vent pipe with the smooth steel type dryer performance has also improved drastically. Total time on site was 4 1/2 hours and I now know who my first call will be to when we need additional plumbing and heating contractor professionals. Super professional service with very knowledgeable people plus left the jobsite cleaner then it was before they arrived. The only issue I had which could be a good thing was it took almost two months to get the invoice

I called to report leaking plumbing under the kitchen sink which was originally installed by this plumbing company 3 years ago. I asked for an appointment and was told a plumber would be out that same day. I was not told what their charges were, nor did I expect a bill because, as previously stated, this company installed all the sink plumbing. The plumber did come promptly, diagnosed and repaired the problem very quickly, probably within 15 minutes. I asked how much I would be charged and was told I would be invoiced if there would be any charge at all. A week later, I received the bill. I called the company to get a break-down of the charges and was told $165 was the and quot;trip charge.and quot; I explained again that this job was previously done by their company and that a stripped tail nut could not have been our fault (we do not own a wrench and could not have caused the nut to be stripped). I asked them to stand behind their work and they refused, saying the job was now 3 years old and they cannot guarantee their work that long.This was deeply disappointing because I've had Roto Rooter out to do work that's now been in place over 10 years with no issues

He used the largest diameter pipe and trap, to ensure proper flow from the sink, disposal, and dishwasher. It's all been working great...no more problems

I also had an unrelated water leak, which he confirmed was coming from my dishwasher. Mike gave me an estimate for installing a new dishwasher but also suggested that an appliance dealer might include that at no charge. He also estimated the cost of installing an outside faucet.
