I bought this service as an Angie's Big Deal. I had to wait more than a month to schedule the call. The electricians that did the work arrived within the time period and installed the outside electrical outlet. The work was done right and I am happy. However, I am not happy about the price. I paid $69.00 for $200.00 of electrical work. I was not informed when I bought the package or when I scheduled the work that I would have to pay a service fee. I have had many contractor in my house, and I have always been told up front of a service fee. It took the electricians less than 45 minutes to install the outlet and it cost me an additional $185.75. So, if you consider I bought $200 of electrical work plus the additional $185.75 I paid - this outside outlet cost $385.75. I think this was over priced. As I said - I am happy with the work, but I don't not think I would use them again because of the cost

Randy's Electric was a pleasure to work with from the initial contact through to finishing the repair. Scheduling the work was easy and flexible. Randy's called a couple of days ahead of the appointment to check that the scheduled date & time window still worked. As promised, the worker called about 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He arrived on-time, was well informed of the problem ,and was immediately ready to start. He was comprehensive in his troubleshooting. When an outside electrical outlet was the suspected cause, he did checks on that outlet and carefully inspected it to rule it in or out as the cause. It was proved to be the cause. During the comprehensive troubling, he identified a different problem with a second outdoor electrical outlet where the GFI function was not protecting the outlet. The worker was thorough in describing the recommended fix, answering any questions that I had, and obtaining my approval before commencing with the repairs. I was happy that the troubleshooting happened to identify the second electrical outlet problem that I was not aware of. I definitely wanted that fixed too. Both outside electrical outlets were replaced with the proper kind that had good covers to prevent the potential for rain/sprinkler water. The work was nicely done and within a couple of hours. I was very satisfied with the work done and the whole process working with Randy's Electric

ALTHOUGH EXPENSIVE, I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR; AN AWESOME BATHROOM! STEVE HAS SOME UNIQUE IDEAS OF MAKING THE BATHROOM MORE CONVENIENT TO BE IN. I'VE FOUND OTHER CONTRACTORS ON OTHER PROJECTS TO NOT BE AS RESPONSIVE OR PROMPT. STEVE WAS ALWAYS POLITE, ONLY WORKING ON ONE PROJECT AT A TIME. THIS WAS IMPORTANT TO ME AS THIS IS MY ONLY BATHROOM. HE SHOWED UP EVERY DAY IN THE MORNING AND WORKED FOR A SOLID 8 HRS, UNLESS OTHERWISE COMMUNICATED. HE ALWAYS USED DROP-CLOTHES AND CLEANED UP EVERY DAY. I LIKE THAT HE DOES THE WORK HIMSELF (EXCEPT ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING) SO I CAN CUT OUT THE MIDDLE-MAN. HE PRIMARILY WORKS WITH BILL (HANNAY ELECTRIC) AND CRAIG (CUSTOM PLUMBING), ALTHOUGH THESE GUYS HAVE THEIR OWN BUSINESSES. SINCE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN BUSINESSES, I HAD TO SIGN A TOTAL OF 3 CONTRACTS. SEE MY COMMENTS ON THESE GUYS IN THE LIST. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT. STEVE'S TIMEFRAME WAS SHORTER THAN MOST BIDS, WHICH I LIKED. I'LL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN IN THE FUTUR

He suggested either going with composite decking or wood. The quote he gave me for composite was $4,000 and for wood it was half of that. He didn't get into the specifics because I wasn't quite ready for him to show me a design. It was a round figure based on what he could see right there. He was very open and upfront about everything. He was clearly very knowledgeable and has been in the business for several years. I liked that he made suggestions and offered alternatives. He said I don't need a full railing here and I could put one on if I wanted otherwise there are a few other options. He talked about 2 or 3 ideas for that. It was nice to have someone who knew the business and knew his work well enough that he could just off the top of his head could make a suggestion about some aspect of the project. There were no complications at all

I had called a number of contractors who replace windows and no one would take on this relatively small job. I found PMX through an ad in our local Woodbury weekly newspaper. Steve Walter responded quickly to my request for an estimate after coming by to evaluate the job. He provided us with a $17.55 discount because of calling through the newspaper ad. He and his crew of three arrived on time, carefully set up their scaffolding in the entry hall, removed the mill work around the windows without damaging anything and got the old windows out and the new windows in without incident. We had a number of other old windows we had replaced ourselves and I asked if he could take all of them away since we didn't have a vehicle that could do the job. He said he would come back when his trailer was available to get all the windows and simply invoice us for the fee that the dump would charge. I could not be more pleased with the service and quality of work. Highly recommende

This is the second time I have used Harrison and have had a great experience both times. I contacted them about an issue I was having with one of my outlets and the receptionist was great. They had me scheduled for an appointment within 24 hours. I received a call from the electrician 15 minutes before their arrival and they were well within the appointment window. He listened intently to the issue and spent time looking through the basement to diagnose the problem. Once he recognized that the work that had been done before was poor quality and posed a significant fire hazard, he offered to replace all nine outlets in the basement and worked with me on pricing. He was done within an hour and even took the time to open up the fuse box to ensure there were not any additional issues. He was pleasant to deal with and I appreciate the fact that he went the extra mile to give me peace of mind. Since this was the third employee from this company that treated me well, I have to believe they are doing something right

Chris is extremely professional and didn't charge me for an estimate. He is clearly well informed and very good at his job. They were also very flexible, I felt like I was in control of the project and no extra work was pushed onto me. The goal of this team is to get the job done right- no extra salesmanship here.
