JOHN WAS AWESOME! I HAD AN UNUSUAL SITUATION THAT I WAS DEALING WITH BECAUSE OF THE SLOPES IN MY BACKYARD. I NEEDED A WALKWAY BETWEEN AN EXISTING SLAB, A SHED, AND THE GARAGE. OUT OF 7 COMPANIES THAT I CALLED, JOHN WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAME OUT TO LOOK AT WHAT I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN OVER THE PHONE. I'M GLAD HE DID BECAUSE HE CAME UP WITH THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEM. HE SPENT A LOT OF TIME TALKING AND EXPLAINING TO ME. When it came to the project itself, they worked on site with a great deal of professionalism - taking great care to be mindful of the rest of the property while working, and ensuring that nearby landscaping was left untouched. The concrete work itself turned out wonderful, and we couldn't be more pleased. Would recommend, and would definitely hire again for future projects

He has not provided a quote nor contacted us to inform us what has caused the delay. This is no way to run a business - communication is vital. We are disappointed in Letendre Concrete work ethic. THE SIDEWALK WAS SOMEWHAT TRICKY, GRADED IN TWO DIRECTIONS, DID A GOOD JOB. CONCERNED ABOUT THE WAY IT LOOKED, THEY DID SOME ADDITIONAL WORK FOR FREE. WHEN THEY TORE OUT THE OLD GARAGE FLOOR THEY DISCOVERED THE SILL HAD ROTTED. RATHER THAN JACKING UP THE GARAGE TO REPLACE IT, THEY CAME UP WITH A LESS EXPENSIVE, YET AS EFFECTIVE SOLUTION

I was very pleased with the work because it seems like the work was done very well. Also right next to the sidewalk there was some dirt that needed to be removed. The owner called back and asked how the service was and I told him that the dirt was put in the wrong location. The owner said that he wouldn't charge me for that and would come back in the Spring to move it to the correct location

CONCRETE SIDEWALK LOOKS GREAT. OVERLAID FRONT PORCH STEP WAS LESS SATISFYING - APPEARS THAT NOT QUITE ENOUGH PRE-PATCHING WAS DONE OR SOMETHING ELSE AFFECTED FINISH BEFORE IT CURED. BUT HAGE HAS AGREED TO COME BACK IN THE SPRING AND REDO THE OVERLAY. COMMUNICATION WAS QUITE POOR, HOWEVER. FIRST I CALLED FOR A QUOTE, WHICH I WAS GIVEN OVER THE PHONE BUT NOT TOLD I NEEDED AN ON-SITE QUOTE BEFORE HAVING THE WORK DONE. ONCE THE WORK WAS ON THEIR LIST, SOMEONE CALLED TO TELL ME I WAS SCHEDULED FOR 2 WEEKS OUT. THE NEXT CALL I GOT WAS FROM SOMEONE WHO WAS AT MY HOUSE TEARING OUT THE WALK - JUST SEVERAL DAYS AFTER THE FIRST CALL. SEVERAL OTHER EXCHANGES OCCURRED BEFORE THE WORK WAS COMPLETE

We originally contacted Tad on June 11, 2012 and gave him a deposit with the intention to start work on August of 2012. In August he stopped refusing our calls, so in December we took him to small claims court. He never showed up, so a judgement was put against him. We offered to pay for the concrete, if he did the work and he agreed to this. He didn't score the concrete properly so it has two cracks

THE OWNER WHO CAME OUT TO GIVE US THE BID WAS UPFRONT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. WE WEREN'T SURE POURING A PATIO WAS POSSIBLE SINCE THERE ARE MANY TREES IN OUR BACKYARD. THE OWNER EVALUATED THE LOCATION AND GAVE US SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR A PATIO, AS WELL AS THE PROS AND CONS OF DOING SO. The job was scheduled out a couple months, but I opted to be on the short call list, and got bumped up a little over a month. The work was great, the aprons are fabulous, and the price was right. Many delays mostly due to him accepting other jobs and pushing mine back weeks. 2 week job took 3 months to complete; the job did grow in scope - so 3 weeks might have been reasonable, but... I was probably too nice, but was smart enough to hold back final payment until completed. Super nice man and employees. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things concrete - an expert. Unfortunately he was rushed, had higher value projects come up (mine was $8K), and doesn't provide guarantees. Some of my hearth bricks were damaged during grouting - upsetting to me; admittedly we were chatting while he was working. the garage leaks worse than before - the waterproofing painted on the exterior and interior is flaking and peeling after only one winter (I did not request this, but was already in process when I noticed - he said it would last long) - (it will need wired brushed removal) and the exterior caulking is not preventing leaks - he added expansion joints to floor to prevent other cracks. The basement post work was done to high standards - great job just very messy, poor cleanup. The new steps are holding up well thus far - a little pooling of water on one side of two of the steps - he back filled with concrete debri before the pour of the concrete (seems like that is a common industry practice) - it seemed like an inaccurate estimate concrete order - he used good quality concrete. Some other work done seems to be okay. The biggest issue is organization, lack of prep to have all he needs when he arrives, timing, responsiveness, rushing and lack of follow-up to resolve issues. He was squeezing in my projects between his higher value projects; when we started he wasn't very busy - so things changed. He was trying to maximize outdoor jobs before winter - probably a MN thing for contractors. That's why he didn't complete my indoor stuff till later. He didn't provide a written contract although I asked; I had to insist on a written receipt. I think if I had been a stronger project manager of his work and I had more energy for that, I would hire him again - but that's not really what I want to do. He does need a strong project manager. Very disappointing but kinda, sorta okay. I really wish it was different. Two neighbors had similar experiences. If you want to project manage and work alongside him... you would learn a lot and have fun. That might be a really good and very unique business niche for him

John was easy to work with and dealt with some last minute plan changes in a very courteous and professional manner. Front stoop and sidewalk finish work looks great. Bryan completed the pour for concrete sidewalk, stairs, apron, and patio but he did not return as promised to fix an issue with the concrete or to seal the concrete. It was agreed to in writing that the concrete would be sealed. He also said he would fix the area of concrete that did not set correctly but he hasn’t returned to do the work. He is non responsive to messages. He has not refunded me for the incomplete work
