I have a cement slab crawl space but house is on wet soil and there is a lot of shifting during the season. Our neighborhood has had a problem with garter snakes the past 2 years gaining entrance into our living spaces. They are under the cement slab and manage to get into the crawl space between the cement slab and walls of crawl space. I store many items in this space so this was a problem! After battling this for 2 years with 2 wildlife eviction services, I choose to have American Waterworks encase the crawl space. It is wonderful! The men were here on time, were very tidy and professional and got the job done in very timely matter. I now have an attractive , bright, clean crawl space where i can again store my belongings with no fear of running into any more garter snakes. Added plus is no moisture can get in the crawl space either. My piece of mind is well worth the expense

December 2010 I contacted Complete Basement Systems for an estimate to encapsulate my two crawl spaces. Chad and I made an appointment for December 21 @ 9:00 AM. He was on time and I showed him the two areas I wanted fixed. He took his time to explain their products and methods of installation. He then offered some ideas that would better the whole project. He prepared the estimate on the spot with his computer and printer on company forms that included all information on prices, warranties, descriptions of work to be done, Notice of Right to Cancel and a diagram of the area of the project. I thought that was very professional because when he left I had all the information in front of me and I didn't have to wait for the mail to come for the estimate. I told him this was a lot to think about but I would let him know one way or another what my decision was. He did come back three more times because of more questions and concerns I had and finalely on April 5, I signed a contract to have the work done. All through this process Chad did not put any pressure on me and he took the time to answer all my questions. On May 18 The foreman Jason and his crew of 3 arrived to to complete the project. They arrived a little late due to a car accident along their way. Jason and I went over the project and I told him I would like to observe certain steps of the project. Him and his crew put down plastic runners on the finished areas of the house they would need to use to access the basement. I pretty much stayed out of the way until Jason let me know they were doing the work that I wanted to observe. What I saw was very impressive and I am glad I chose to do it that way. They finished the project in one day which was nice for both of us. They did a real good job of cleaning up when they were finished. The only thing I would suggest the company do in the future would be to stock their work trucks with bags of Floor Sweep for clean-up. This is not a complaint but a constructive suggestion. From my first contact with Complete Basement Systems, through my meetings with Chad, ending with the completion of the project with Jason and crew I can say I am completely satisfied the work that took place. I would recommend them in the future

Innovative Basement Authority
Everything was going fine until they started installing the wall insulation. They were attaching raggedly cut, irregularly shaped pieces of foam insulation to the walls, with large gaps between them. I complained to the sales office and they sent out the field supervisor. They ended up tearing out the insulation they had already installed and put up new, cleanly cut foam in a much more precise and careful manner. A half day project turned into most of the day because they had to get additional supplies and redo part of the job. They are capable of doing good work but unfortunately, I had to fight with them in order to get their A game. When they cleaned up, I discovered damage to my walls and to my floor, so I refused to pay the original amount. Joey then called me back and we eventually settled for a small monetary adjustment. He was insisting that I should be happy after they came out to make things right and that I shouldn't give a negative review. I insisted that I would give an honest review, and that I wasn't going to let them buy a good review from me. I was reasonably pleased with the results until this last issue. I believe this service was overpriced: $1000-ish worth of materials plus a half day of labor for 3 people for just under $6000 + damage to my floor and walls. Two of the 3 people on the crew were very courteous, but they just weren't very detail-oriented. I would like to believe my salesperson's assurance that this is an isolated incident and that they will be working to address the issues I have raised. For the sake of future customers, I hope this is true

Standard Water Control Systems Inc
THIS WAS A DIFFICULT AREA TO WORK ON-A 3 FT HIGH CRAWL SPACE. THERE WAS NO UNFINISHED EXTERIOR ACCESS TO THIS AREA. THEY HAULED OUT SAND, DUG A TRENCH, PUT IN DRAIN TILE, LAYED POLY SHEETING MOISTURE BARRIER AND CEMENTED THE AREA. THEIR BID WAS THE HIGHEST AND THEY CAME WITH THE BEST RECOMMENDATIONS. THE INTERIOR WORK WAS DONE WELL. THE CEMENT CREW LEFT QUITE A MESS IN THE STREET AND I HAD A BIT OF CONFUSION GETTING SOMEONE BACK TO CLEAN IT UP. WHEN THEY DID COME BACK TO CLEAN UP, IT WAS DONE VERY WELL, AND I WAS COMPENSATED FOR THE CLEAN UP I HAD ALREADY DONE. I APPRECIATED THAT THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF FIXING THIS PROBLEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY HIGHLY, AS THEY DO FIX THE THINGS THAT MAY GO WRONG AND STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. GARY WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH

SERVICEMAN WERE VERY HARD WORKING, CAREFUL ON LAWN AND INSIDE FLOORS, DUG HOLES BY HAND RATHER THAN BOBCAT TO MINIMIZE DAMAGE TO LAWN, ARRANGED FOR INSPECTION ON SECOND DAY SO PERMIT COULD BE APPROVED, AND CLEANED UP WELL. WORK WAS EXPENSIVE, BUT IN-LINE WITH OTHER ESTIMATES WE GOT FROM HIGH-RATED COMPANIES ON ANGIE'S LIST. IT WAS NICE TO HAVE ONE COMPANY DO ALL THREE PROJECTS. The plan was put into place, except that the workers on the ground determined the trenching was not needed, that the design would already direct water to the raised sump pump so the additional drain tile would be unnecessary expense. So they reduced the scope and saved us money. Overall, the work was performed as promised, when promised, the workers were punctual, professional, cleaned up after themselves - we are very satisfied

We requested a bid from Jesse Trebil for the repair and mitigation of a horizontal concrete block foundation crack in a home we were thinking about purchasing (a ~30 foot rec room wall; home built in the 1950's). In addition, we asked for bids for a full basement drain tile system and for the encapsulation of a basement crawl space. We worked with one of Jesse Trebil's employees, Shane, and were impressed with his thoroughness and professionalism during the estimate process. He recommended a wall anchor system to mitigate the horizontal crack. In the end, we decided to walk away from the home but would have definitely hired this company to do the repairs had we gone ahead with the offer process and purchase

Yury is the real deal! Between my friends, my family, and my own experiences, there have been many bad inspectors. They always just happen to show up a couple hours early, so when I arrive to start the inspection they are almost done already. Then we find obvious things wrong with the house that any inspector should have noticed. Not a problem with Yury! He walked me through the whole process, answered all my questions, and gave me his professional opinions. Yury is very knowledgeable about what to look for, and very thorough in looking for it. After the inspection, he had the report sent out to me within a few hours! I highly recommend you get his expertise on your side before you purchase a home.
