Zach and his apprentice from Randy's Electric were 100% successful in restoring power to the condo unit I manage. The condo is in a building that has some of the wiring redone and some quite old. It appears there was some condensation above the ceiling that caused a short in half the circuits in the condo. The condo owner had another electrical company take a look at it two weeks before. Two hours and $480 dollars later they didn't do anything. Today, the guys from Randy's Electric where able to come out and resolve the issue in about 2+ hours. The moral of the story is there are some electricians that get the job done and others that just send you a bill. Randy's Electric is the former. I appreciate them coming close to the estimate. It's an old building, so I know how things can go sideways quickly. My only regret is we couldn't book an appointment with them first. I've learned it is better to wait on a high quality electrician rather than go with the one that is available. PS: Stay away from Early Bird Electric if you have a job that has lots of unknowns. They will just take your money and say that can't do it

I had not met Scott before, but saw all the positive feedback so decided to call him. My home built in 1908 needs electrical rewiring throughout the house. I'll be adding an addition to the home, renovating the kitchen, and adding air conditioning (mini-splits) in the near future. Scott, having not known any of that before he came to look at my house, showed up on time, gave a thorough assessment of my house (he was there about 1.5 hours), gave his opinion (including creative solutions for difficult situations and being as least intrusive as possible). Ultimately, he recommended waiting until the house is more opened up due to the various renovations and A/C install before moving forward with the rewiring. He said it would save him time, and me money if some of the walls were already opened up. Which makes sense. I very much appreciated his time, responsiveness, thoughtfulness for my electrical future needs, and honesty. I'd definitely recommend him

Let me start by saying the technician was great! Very nice & professional. I am just not sure I fully understand the Angies list Coupon. 1. Technician was here for roughly 40 minutes- that includes the time that he rewired a chandelier and did and estimate to put a panel in my house. 2. I paid $89 for 2 hours of service- I was told there was $49 trip charge but that would be absorbed into the cost of if didn?t use 2 hours? worth of service. 3. I still paid an Additional $88 out of pocket. So in total I paid $177 for 40 minutes ½ of which was walking around doing an estimate (generally those are free) So by my calculation, it was roughly almost $5 a minute or ? $300 and hour. Also- I did email Randy's on 3/30 questioning the charges and NEVER heard a thing back

I needed an upstairs bathroom outlet rewired and the old wiring in the attic removed, attic lights rewired from extension cord connectors to existing attic junction box, and two broken pieces of venting from the boiler and hot water heater replaced. Both the preliminary walk-through for estimated costs and the scheduled work day itself were efficient and complete. Servicemen Kris and Chris were courteous and punctual. The Final costs were a little less than quoted based on fewer parts needed at the time of service

I noticed a burnt smell coming from the shop area. I called Marco in the morning and they came out around 4;00PM. He checked out the breaker and showed me how it had gotten too hot. He replaced it and checked out some outlets that were not working. After checking it out he said they were wired incorrectly and should be on another breaker to balance the amps. He completed that and was done shortly after 5PM. I felt they responded quick and did not claim there was more work needed other than my request. There price was very reasonable

They seemed to have standard prices for everything. The guys were nice. They wore booties! :) They managed to revive some super old wires in one fixture so that I wouldn't have to pay to have it rewired. (Though they did say the next time that light fixture changes, it HAS TO be rewired).
