Recent Review: Arcbazar offers a very unique service. I was looking for some interior design ideas for a new home. There are many interior designer's that offer consultation services. They provide color options, ideas for furniture etc. Whats cool about arcbazar, however, is that it works based on a competition that you create on their website. Instead of getting one designer providing you one concept, you get multiple submissions from different interior designers. I created a competition to provide interior design ideas for my family room/kitchen area. I ended up getting 13 different design ideas. What I was impressed with was the quality of some of the submissions. Many of the designers submitted full color 3 dimensional layouts that made it a lot easier to visualize the design. They also provided a list of furniture, paint and accessory options. Overall I was very pleased with the results. Just be aware that you have to be reasonable about your award amount. You cant enter something like $50 and ask for a full interior design of your whole house. When creating your competition the website will give you a suggested award amount. This suggested award is based on the square feet of the area you wish to design. My only gripe with the service was their website. It's a bit rough around the edges and at times their site was very slow. Sometimes it could be frustrating to use. The only reason I didnt give the service all A's.

With her help, we selected luxury vinyl plank flooring which coordinated beautifully with our existing woodwork. She provided us with the paint colors as well as recommendations for bedding and window treatments to complete our rooms. For our living areas, she helped us to pick out light fixtures which not only fit our style, but were also in our price range. Jae went above and beyond by custom painting furniture for our children's' rooms. Her attention to every detail including furniture placement, accessories, and colors was apparent once the rooms came together. Visitors are impressed that our home has undergone under Jae's guidance. We are looking forward to working with Jae in the future when we decide to update our kitchen and bathrooms. We appreciated her creativity, easy going personality, and attention to detail.

Recent Review: This is the second time I've hired Vickie to give me interior design ideas and recommendations. I took advantage of an Angie's List Best Deal. She was punctual and professional. She gave me ideas on proper furniture placement in my awkward living room space, color recommendations, tips for furnishing and window treatment ideas for my 3 season porch, all of which I am in the process of implementing. She offered her vast resource knowledge to help implement these improvements and said I could call her at anytime. I appreciate the fact that she does not contact me for followup; rather she gives me some space. I know she is there when I next need her, and I will contact her when I am at that stage in my projects. i would recommend her in an instant to those looking for interior design and color ideas.

Recent Review: Sue is AMAZING!!! After spending a few minutes talking about my style and what I was looking for, she helped me pick out a color scheme and theme for every room in the house. She drew out exactly what the sofas, chairs, and tables should look like, what color it should be, and where it should be placed. She prepared a package with color samples to help me shop for furniture which I tried to do on my own but it proved to be more difficult than I thought. I called Sue back to help me shop since she doesn't charge an extra fee for shopping. She went back with me to the same store and was able to help me find most of my furniture and kept it in my budget. She had very good insight about what's outdated, overdone trends, and she has a great eye for what colors go great together. I would highly recommend her if you need help with interior designing!

She took the time to understand my style and help me to see how I could make changes in my home that would make me feel proud and comfortable to live there. She not only came up with some out-of-the-box ideas but also didn't make me feel overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done. Would highly recommend!
