In all cases we were extremely satisfied for the following reasons: (1) Jeff is always creative and we always end up with a much better design than we were originally thinking, (2) the jobs are always bid accurately (not underbid to win the business only to find many charges added on), (3) the crew is friendly and reliable (and amazing consistent over many years), (4) their work is high quality, and (5) they will ALWAYS make it right if anything is found after they are done that we need modified

The shed looks great, and they did an excellent job of not only installing the shed, but cleaning up after the fact. The Shed Shop has a very convenient option of ordering the shed on line. I really love the website because you can see all of the options, color of roof and sizes. I ordered my shed on line (at night). The next day, Tim called to thank me for purchasing the shed and answered any questions that I had. They custom build the shed to customer satisfaction. The process for registering for an estimate was quick and easy - I love that you could do it directly on their website. From there, my interactions with Jessica, who is the owner, began, and she was great to work with! She went above and beyond to help us understand what would be done, what our options were, and even ideas to help with some grading issues we identified around the location for the shed. When it came time for construction, Chad, the builder, was one of the best contractors I've worked with to date. He arrived right on time, was friendly and easy to talk to, and best of all, built an amazing shed. The quality and detail of the shed far exceeded what I was expecting, which that alone would lead me to want to work with them again. BACKYARD BUILDING SYSTEMS
My husband and I began looking for a storage shed this past summer. We could not find a shed that was both sturdy and affordable. I found Backyard Building Systems on Angie's list and we decided to drive to Hampton to check out the sheds. They have every size imaginable! We ordered the "Americana" with the 4 foot sidewall. Finished size 8 X 10 X 8. The shed was installed in about a week (the actual time the company needed was something like 3 days)! Steve, the installer, came at 8:00 (time scheduled) and he was done building the shed around 11:30. He cleaned up the area and it looks great! Steve took the time to explain to me how we needed to caulk and put primer on the new wood. I probably won't get it painted until spring but I GET TO PARK IN THE GARAGE THIS WINTER!

Initial consultation was good, walked me through some options for the shed and we looked at the placement of it in the backyard. On day of build, they called to confirm the configuration. Built the shed in no time at all, looks great, very sturdy. My only disappointment is that they said they would match the shingles on the house and they didn't. Our house shingles are gray and the shed was built with brown shingles

This family owned business "The Shed Shop" can only be rated as "Totally Superb" from start to finish. Working with Jessica from the beginning to the end was totally amazing . . . she is extremely knowledgeable about their products and is extremely patient working with customers like myself who have a thousand questions about building a shed. It was such a pleasure working with Jessica during the whole process. The day the shed was built can only be described as totally amazing. Tim and Chad arrived on time and had the shed built from scratch in about 6 1/2 hours . . . they were fascinating to watch . . . there was not a wasted movement from either one of them the entire day . . . it was unbelievable. They were totally professional and cleaned up the whole area when they were finished. The Shed Shop uses high quality material and high quality workmanship . . . they can't be beat !! The city building inspector said that the Shed Shop did an outstanding job building a quality shed, inside and out. Also, our neighbors have commented about how great this shed looks and how well it's built. All in all we would highly recommend The Shed Shop to anyone who is having a shed built . . . They are wonderful !!

After meeting with several other builders and talking on the phone with even more, I had my meeting with Ray (and Lolli). He was the only builder who honored our budget and said he could get the job done. He also took time during that first meeting and did not rush me like the other builders. It was a long process for us to take the leap of faith and build a new home (especially custom home) and I am so glad we did. Ray was really patient as I worked through my decision making process to move forward. After moving in, I know it was the best choice for my family. As a teacher, my main concern was going over budget. A realtor told us to take the final price and add at least 20% on it it for things that come up during the building process. She also told us that building was not a good economical choice when the market was down, but I disagree. I could not be more happy to move into a brand new house, that holds it value, has lower electric/gas bills, and needs no renovations! I don't want to move any walls, retile, or even paint! The other builders I met with told us we would need to increase our budget by at least 100K to get the job done. One even told me the layout I wanted was not possible. However, Ray worked with us. He was honest and worked really hard to earn our business and keep us happy. We worked side by side to design an amazing home within our budget. I remember there were a couple of things I really wanted specific in the house that were a bit of a design issue (zero entry shower floor, specific island shape, and a few others) I thought that they couldn't be done and then I would get a call and Ray had done more research and talked with more people to make it happen. In the end, we even came in underbudget! It sounds too good to be true, but I have the proof! After talking with some friends who also were building, we were shocked to hear how much they were being charged for a tray ceiling! They were charged $1700 more than it cost for ours! It is so nice to be able to trust Ray and know he is not jacking the prices up on his customers. If fact, he works open book. There is 100% transparency. You get to see all of the numbers. He also set us up with a mortgage company that took care of us and helped us through this process. The process to build a custom home may seem daunting, but he knows all of the steps and walked us through or got us in contact with the people we needed. My main concern was staying within budget, and Ray worked really hard to find us the best deals to make that happen with the subcontractors. However, even better than the budget is the quality of the home he built for us. It is solid. When we were over at a friends house who just built in a new development, we were surprised how thin the walls felt and sounded. We could hear everything outside and it was hot upstairs and cold downstairs. We don't have any of those issues (and they shouldn't either on a new house!) Our home is so energy efficient. Our monthly energy bills are lower in this much larger house then they were in our smaller previous house. It is crazy that the other builders we interviewed said we needed to increase our budget and were not even using energy efficient practices. When I first met with Ray, I wasn't looking for a and quot;greenand quot; builder, but I am SOOO glad that I found him because it is making a HUGE difference (financially and health wise). We have all foam insulation keeping our house not only temperature consistent, but quiet too! My allergies and asthma have improved with the improved air quality. There are a lot of things I did not realize that went into designing and building our home such as window placement (south vs. north, and roof overhang to shade from strong sun) in conjunction with aesthetics. They were not only concerned with building a strong, durable house, but one that looks good too. So many of the people I talk to that have gone through the building process would say, oh watch for this or they messed up our...but we did not have that. The plans were detailed and the workers were professional. Being that it is custom and no two houses are ever built the same, when little issues would come up, it was addressed immediately. In the end, I whole heartedly could not be happier with the home we had built. It is hard to put words to it. I highly 100% recommend Amaris to anyone who is building. After you meet with them, you will know what I am talking about. I know that they do way above and beyond quality work and care deeply for their clients

MARK AND LOU PETERSON ARE A HUSBAND AND WIFE TEAM THAT RUN THIS BUSINESS TOGETHER. THEY OFFER CEDAR SHEDS AND GAZEBOS EITHER AS A KIT OR INSTALLED. THERE ARE NOT A LOT OF DESIGN OPTIONS OFFERED, BUT THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS AND THE AVAILABLE DESIGNS ARE VERY GOOD. THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE ON THE DATE ABOUT SIX WEEKS OUT FROM OUR ORDER PLACEMENT AND WERE THERE THAT DAY. THEY BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION A SMALL DEFECT IN ONE WINDOW, ORDERED THE REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLED IT WITHOUT QUESTIONING THE NEED TO DO SO. THEY WERE TOTALLY RESPONSIVE TO ANY REQUESTS AND VERY EFFICIENT IN THEIR WORK. OUR GAZEBO WAS COMPLETED IN 2.5 DAYS

I picked Al because he seemed very honest. He lives and works in the neighborhood and really knows the houses. My house was built in the 1920's and I am sure was full of surprises. Al's price was right in the middle of all the bids I had gotten. They started by completely gutting my basement (asbestos and all). They stayed in close contact with me throughout the process and tried to make it as comfortable as possible while still living in the house. All the work got done on time and is beautiful. I plan on using Al and his team to renovate the rest of the house

Luke Therrien, owner of Cuzzin Construction, is the finest contractor we've ever worked with. He treats your house and job like it is his own. He is an expert who not only is a great leader of a construction team, but also loves to get his hands dirty. He is creative and a problem solver and is not thrown by any unexpected problem that he encounters. Above all, he is the consummate professional and a nice and kind person who is extremely conscientious about his work. Not only did the end product look perfect, but also he made little touches (for example, scrubbing certain areas of grout so they matched the rest of the bathroom and just were white and shiny) and was extremely careful in cleaning up every night before he left so that you'd never know there was construction going on in your house. We wholeheartedly recommend him

The need for this work was discovered when we began what was intended to be cosmetic stucco repair - we discovered that the cosmetic issues were caused by structural issues (rotting rim-wood at the top of the foundation). The stucco firm suggested a couple potential firms, including J-Mar. This turned out to be a great recommendation. Don and the workers he hired did a great job. Don was calm, patient and clear in explaining the various issues that were uncovered and options to fix them. The team seemed to take care and pride in their work. I also feel that they did their best to come up with cost-effective solutions. Very responsive to questions, came when they said they would, work accomplished on the promised timeframe. i highly recommend the firm

I was considering several options for materials and Dustin convinced me that tried-and-true cedar was the way to go. Highmark Enterprises gets high marks for being detail oriented with a focus on quality materials and techniques. I love my deck. It’s beautiful and well worth the investment
