A Wonderful experience! We had a pergola on our front entrance where the wood had started to rot. We needed to have it replaced. Andrew (the Melon Man) responded quickly to our call for an estimate. He arrived on time to evaluate the job. We had an email estimate by the next day. He provided a contract detailing the work and we paid a down payment. He scheduled his work for 2 weeks out and even provided the time he planned to start. The day of the job, he called to let us know that he may be about 30 minutes late; and arrived as expected. During demolition, Andrew discovered that there was a need to replace an additional post where wood rot was not visible prior to demolition. He immediately called us to obtain authorization for the additional work and cost. He estimated that the job would be completed in 1 day. Melon Man delivered a beautiful pergola while staying with the time and cost estimate. We are very pleased with our new pergola. It is a pleasure to work with a professional who communicates, is responsive and meets his commitments! We will definitely use Melon Man in the future and would heartily recommend him to others!

I called Jim to explain our need to create privacy, and a new outdoor experience. With only pictures of examples, and Jim's help, we have a wonderful new pergola mounted on our existing deck, and an updated rail system incorporating 6x6 construction, and new metal ballisters. Jim, and his crew showed up on time, cleaned up after each day, and were in touch with me prior to any design changes etc. The whole experience was great and I am sure we will look to contract with Jim for our future needs

I chose Keller, based on some fences I saw in the neighborhood and a recommendation from Kern Landscaping. Keller did a great job on both the fence and pergola. They look fantastic. Tim Dyrhaug met with us, provided a timely bid, and project managed. He was flexible and worked well with Kern and the electrician to make it happen. Came in on budget and on time

Landscape Charlie was recommended to us by some builders that we highly trust. The owner, Charlie Kraemer, is involved from day 1 with ideas all the way to final plant being put in. His design was something we had trouble visualizing so he followed up with more drawings and pictures. He stayed within our budget the entire way and would let us know if our additional ideas would take things over our agreement - no surprises. What sets Landscape Charlie apart from others we have worked with in the past is the constant communication and the professionalism of his entire crew. Communication: If his original schedule was adjusted he let us know. Our project was never left for a day or two and we felt that our project was the priority of his company. His crew worked hard, answered all my questions, and every night they cleaned up our backyard best possible so we did not have to look at a construction site during evening hours. Seems small, but with a dog and kids, having your yard usable to a point without worry was appreciated. One last item. After a few weeks of completion I was doing fall clean up and decided to use the mower to mulch leaves in a place I should not have. My mistake as I snipped the lighting cable that was buried. I left Charlie a text Sunday night letting him know that I screwed up and that we were counting on the lighting as part of Halloween decor throughout our yard (Halloween is big deal here). The next morning I look out and there is Charlie fixing the issue and charged me nothing. He knew we were in a bind and made it happen. This is my first Angie's List review because I expect quality service to be part of any process, but trust me when I say, Landscape Charlie goes above and beyond even the greatest expectations

Fabulous results!! First let me say that I am an exceptionally picky person. REALLY particular for quality materials and construction. Karl and his crew did an outstanding job installing a new paver patio, wall planter with limestone stone benches and limestone wall seating under a pergola. He also coordinated the construction of the pergola and a new Azek maintenance-free deck with stainless steel cable railing with an excellent contractor, NMC Construction (Nate Custartd). Karl was very communicative of the process, schedule and actual construction. He would adjust his schedule to meet with me early in the morning at my home to discuss the schedule for the day. The results are beautiful with exceptional quality construction and materials. He was very helpful in coordinating the purchase of pavers from a supplier that they typically did not use and went out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. The bonus is that their pricing is extremely competitive too! I can not speak highly enough of the exceptional service and end results I received

Architectural Landscape Design was a pleasure to work with. They answered all our questions during the design phase graciously, and they were very clear concerning what our options were within our budget and what we could do if we increased or decreased that budget. I also loved the fact that they give you a whole design around your property so you can see how your project could tie into other parts of your landscape as well as what you could do next. More importantly, our paver patio turned out beautiful. Just gorgeous. We've gotten nothing but compliments, and we have already gotten almost daily use out of it. Last but not least, their customer service after the patio was done has been amazing. There were some minor concerns we had, and they came out and fixed them with no hassle at all. I strongly recommend Architectural Landscape Design, and if we ever want to hire out any more landscape work, we'll definitely be giving them a call

Angie with Designscape Plus created the design. She had really great ideas and really listened to what we wanted. She incorporated the things that we wanted to keep (swing set, shed) as well as creative solutions to clean up the existing area we already had. We were on a limited budget and could not move forward with bells and whistles (BBQ area, sitting bench, fire pit or any of the proposed plantings) but are very pleased to have a lovely new paver patio and bordered playground area with fresh mulch. Angie and Mike are professional and very skilled in their areas of expertise. While on-site Mike noted a drainage issue near our garage and fixed it for us so that it drains away from the house. the project took one week due to rain, however the workers always covered the work and left the area as clean as before they started. We are pleased with the project. Our costs per sq foot: paver material and install: $23 demo of old patio $4.5

They seemed to be good numbers. Considering that all we got was an estimate and since we have really dealt with them yet, we will give them a B because they came out quick. As a business they were out quick. We have to get approval from our homeowners association, so even after we get the estimate; it can sometimes take a couple of months just to get the approval. By the time we have the work done we might have to have it re-estimated because we live in a snowy area
