We hired Ridler to install a new high-efficiency boiler in our home. (They referred us to another contractor for removal of the old boiler.) Ridler company did a very good job. I would recommend this company if you are interested in a high-efficiency residential boiler. Josh did a good job of explaining the options and the work plan. Now that we are almost through the winter, I can confirm that the boiler works very well. The boiler itself is somewhat expensive (hence the 'B' grade for price) but there are real savings on the gas bill, so after some time it pays off

Burnomatic Mooney & Ridler
After being told it would be challenging to drain our old steel expansion tank, and that we should purchase a new boiler for other reasons, we got a few bids for a new boiler. Greg came and thought there was no reason to replace our boiler, as long as we drained the expansion tank and placed a CO detector near the boiler to be cautious. We had Burnomatic drain the expansion tank and it took maybe 30-45 minutes, with no problems. The system has been operating great since then and we didn't have to spend over $6,000 for a new boiler when our current one works just fine. They were so honest and provided great service! Will definitely call them should we need any other boiler maintenance! Thank you!

Metro Air Heating & Cooling
Daryl from Metro Air came to my brother's house for a 2nd assessment of his boiler. 1st plumber (Hero Plumbing) told my brother his boiler's seals were leaking CO into his house and had shut off his heat. Also quoted him $13,000.00 for a new boiler. Daryl checked my brother's boiler, found NO CO, NO deteriorating seals, and said Hero's quoted replacement costs were 50% more than what is normal. CenterPoint Energy also came out that day and turned my brother's heat back on. They also found no problems with leaking CO. Daryl was very professional and calming

There is no need to look any further for a company to do your work, this is the one! The gas company "red-tagged" my boiler (meaning it was unsafe), and sent out a representative that same day to sell me a new boiler. I also called Team, and another company. All three recommended the same boiler, however, Team was the least expensive by far. Mike Carlson was extremely friendly, and well versed in boilers and radiators. He knew what he was talking about! The installer, Dennis, was probably the best in the business. Every aspect of working with Team was a pleasure. I am having them come back in the spring to do additional work

Badger Boiler Service
I have a Baxi Luna wall hung boiler and hot water heater. It has been a terrible problem finding someone to service my boiler. Its an unusual type not typically seen around here. I happened to see a Badger Boiler work van in my neighborhood and called the number on the side of the van. Morgan, one of the principles of Badger, and one of his techs came out a few days later, gave my boiler a much needed cleaning and diagnosed the error code I'd been getting. Most heating and cooling companies have never heard of a Baxi boiler much less how to repair one. It was great to find someone who knew exactly what I was talking about when I started describing my problem. Super professional and knowledgeable, I would use Badger Boiler again in a second. Eri

The removal of the old boiler was subcontracted out. The subcontractors who removed it were odd. They brought a young child with them, which seemed odd. The new boiler was hooked up, but then not turned on. We didn't know why it wasn't working for a while and had to call to have it turned on (they came the day we called though). The removal and installation was clean, no parts left behind

TIM MCQUILLAN WAS FRIENDLY, BUT DID NOT SPEND MUCH TIME EXPLAINING WHAT HE RECOMMENDED DOING OR WHY. HE ONLY SPENT ABOUT 15 MINUTES TOTAL, WHICH WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN OTHER CONTRACTORS. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE PRICE WAS $1300 HIGHER THAN THE HIGHEST OF OUR THREE OTHER BIDS AND HE DID NOTHING TO EXPLAIN WHY THAT MIGHT BE. IN FAIRNESS, HOWEVER, WE DID NOT TRY TO CONTACT HIM AND ASK HIM WHY HIS BID WAS SO HIGH. FELT MORE COMFORTABLE WITH OTHER COMPANIES

He was also patient with all of our questions and answered them thoroughly. We were new to boiler systems having come from forced air heating systems, so we had them check out the condition of our boiler and teach us about it at the same time. They were good about explaining the system and they checked out the boiler. The boiler was in great working condition, however the overflow tank was too full of water (which they didn't check nor did we) and the first time we turned the heat up in the house water overflow blew and wouldn't reseal. They had to come back to switch out the overflow protector. They were good about coming right away, however we were a little frustrated that that had happened being that they were just here and checked over the boiler

We couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Jim Boehm. We had received several quotes for new boilers, and found Boehm's quote to be competitive and fair. Being in a smaller home, it did not make sense for us to change to a high-efficiency boiler model, as it would provide very little in annual heating cost savings. Instead, we went with a reliable boiler recommended by Boehm. It worked without any issues all winter long. Our old boiler was an enormous, asbestos-filled tank. Boehm subcontracted the removal to another company who contained the area, removed the boiler, and cleaned up after themselves. I called to schedule getting a new water heater, and I was set up for an appointment only two days later. I was going to get a continuous water heater, but Mike talked me out of it, and I am glad he did. I cannot say how much I appreciated the honesty he displayed. I was quoted $1,235 for the water heater. I asked about an all-home filtration system and was quoted something around $500 for that and then $250 for fixing some saddle taps on my current pipes. The plumber was very professional, it was cheaper than expected, and we are very satisfied with the work and result. There was a slight drip from the filter, but they came out and fixed it in ~1 minute. I am very happy to say I never need to find another plumber because these guys are just way too honest

I called Xcel on a Saturday, they couldn't send anyone until Monday, which ended up being Tuesday. They confirmed the inducer motor (I believe) was the issue and fixed it for no cost. That was on the second visit and they were very early (gave a time estimate of 8AM until 12) and showed up around 9AM. I actually wasn't there, so another person handled the transaction for me and it went very well. The furnace works great now

It went great! This is an excellent, honest, quality company. I have 4 wall A/Cs that go to 3 outdoor units. (I have an old house with radiators.) Jason performed an extensive, thorough check of each A/C, both inside and outside. One A/C needed a little coolant and Jayson topped it off for free. The whole experience was so totally different from the company I had 2 years ago whose technician spent very little time and tried to charge me $190 per pound of coolant. Jayson had a long checklist for each A/C. He spent a total of 3 hours at my house. He seemed very experienced and competent

Our 1932 boiler had been serviced by McQuillan when we bought the house eight years ago and we continued. They kept the boiler running well and last year recommended it might be time to consider a new boiler. We did do an upgrade.
