  I can't really speak to the quality of the work yet - I haven't really noticed a difference. They guys who did the work were perfectly nice. I used this company because they were on the approved list for the insulation rebate. They were the most expensive quote I received, but with the rebate, I made it work. It took a long time to get the work scheduled, I took the day off work when the date came - it was confirmed (twice) then cancelled, day of (for bad weather that was in the forecast). Needless to day I was really upset. When the bill came, I asked for the credit card charges (yes, they do that) to be waived for the cost & inconvenience the cancelled appointment cost me, but was denied

  When I took my coat into Vic's Alterations, they looked at it and thought that first they would try fixing the zipper which would cost considerably less than replacing it. They called the end of that day to tell me they had tried unsuccessfully to repair the zipper so would need to replace it. They gave me the cost up front and told me when it would be done. The seamstress was very informative, courteous and professional. It was nice of her to check the existing zipper first knowing that it would cost less if it was still workable. She also asked me if I needed the coat back quickly as they would be able to accommodate that if needed. When I went to pick up my coat, I was very pleased with the looks of the replacement and the zipper has been working great. My only surprise was when I mentioned that I had found their shop on Angie's List and read good reviews, she seemed unfamiliar with Angie's List. <br /
