"We have been through a lot of contractors in building a recent addition, but these guys are the best we've seen. They were, without exception, courteous, punctual, helpful, friendly, and, most importantly, clever problem solvers. I am a stay-at-home mom and I always felt very comfortable and safe with them around. They really went the extra mile! When we started the project, which is an entryway and bathroom enlargement and a closet, someone else had been working for us. This someone else left a gigantic mess all over our front yard of dangerous torn-up lumber and glass. Color and Arches cleaned it up and for the rest of the project kept a tidy workplace. The someone else had done things how they wanted them to be done, rather than how we wanted it. Color and Arches listened carefully to what we wanted, made suggestions where appropriate, and followed through without needing any supervision. I especially recommend Vernon, Bill, and Pier for any general contracting type construction. The couple of subcontractors they sent in for specific jobs were also top-notch. We did encounter some problems/mistakes (to be expected in a long project), but these guys bent over backwards to fix them. I look forward to working with Color and Arches again on our next project!

"Jonathan and his team did a great job and were wonderful to work with. They did excellent work. The install, including the finish work was great. We had a lot of different edges that needed to be finished and they handled them all well. They communicated well about when they could do the work and were there when they said they would be. <br> <br>We got several estimates for the work before selecting JNJ Carpentry. We decided to have them charge us hourly for the work instead of an upfront estimate. Jonathan was very open about what could impact the cost before starting the work and we ended up with a fair price. The final cost ended up lower than other estimates (which probably incorporated the worst case scenarios in the calculations). <br> <br>We plan to work with JNJ Carpentry again in the future. <br>

"My Lang VinZant representative, Ron Fry, was super service-oriented. He was extremely communicative throughout the project, and built confidence by being at my home (always Covid-19 safe) to personally ensure the materials, dumpster and crew were in place for the job. In addition, Ken VinZant came by to ensure the work was done to my satisfaction. Ken even replaced a gutter pipe, damaged during the job (so quickly, without fuss). Very impressive! I would use Lang VinZant again. My wife and I are very particular. We were completely satisfied with Lang VinZant, their representative, Ron Fry, and the great work they did.

"From start to finish, working with The Shed Shop was a delight. After receiving a bid from the big box provider of sheds, I did one last search for a locally-owned option and found The Shed Shop. The process for registering for an estimate was quick and easy - I love that you could do it directly on their website. From there, my interactions with Jessica, who is the owner, began, and she was great to work with! She went above and beyond to help us understand what would be done, what our options were, and even ideas to help with some grading issues we identified around the location for the shed. When it came time for construction, Chad, the builder, was one of the best contractors I've worked with to date. He arrived right on time, was friendly and easy to talk to, and best of all, built an amazing shed. The quality and detail of the shed far exceeded what I was expecting, which that alone would lead me to want to work with them again. "Working with Croix River Construction was a positive experience on all fronts. Paul and his team are good at what they do, professional, and very nice! They tore down our stand-alone, falling-apart garage and built a bigger, better garage in its place. Paul made sure the new garage would match our home perfectly, and provided quality materials and workmanship. It was a big project and Croix River were easy to work with, reliable, flexible, and fairly priced. In addition to the new garage, they installed a new concrete driveway, created a slope for it, and added fill to elevate the garage-floor height (which some companies weren't able or willing to do). They also graded around the house and redid some of our concrete sidewalks. It's two years later and the concrete work is holding up well. All of it is. Highly recommended, and nice people.

"I reached out on Angie’s list for a talented contractor group back in December. After speaking to several people for about 2 weeks I came across Grandmoore Homes Inc. I spoke to Ben via email for about a few days, describing the situation and we began planning for a meetup at the house after about a week before Christmas. There we spoke about measurements, supplies, suggestions, insurance, etc. The more information we provided the easier it was for him to plan and work on our downstairs and in the long run it really shows. Then, he told us about the holiday break coming up and how we would have to wait for about another month before things could start. We were ok with that since that gave us more time to plan things out, such as picking supplies we would have to buy and what fireplace and mantle we wanted to buy and from where. After 2 more meetings we met our Project Supervisor Randy and we began on February 5th. The project went smoothly and by the end there were 8 days when they couldn’t come into work because of weather issues or other unforeseen circumstances. It took them 6 weeks to complete everything. We didn’t want the job to be rushed, we wanted it to be done properly and of high quality, which it was and we were very happy! I would be upstairs as they worked downstairs and if they needed anything or wanted to ask me something I was there to help fill them in, they were very friendly and understanding. There was one day however when we saw the wooden trim was done poorly and we contacted Randy about it. Randy came the next day to look over it and decided this work wasn’t up to their standard of quality. He had it immediately taken out and planned for the following week to have a new team to come in and they did a much better job! There were times when we needed extra supplies brought over and Randy would be on top of it and get it delivered before the workers would come in that day to do the work. After everything was done, Ben came by and did a final walkthrough with us and spoke to us about any other things we had on our mind, he was very patient and understanding. I would strongly recommend Ben and Randy from Grandmoore Homes Inc. and I’m already looking forward to planning another project with them in the future!

Patrick stopped by personally twice to go over the planned work and process the paperwork. The carpenter they sent was very professional and did a great job. "Greg and D-Tails get my highest recommendation. I wanted to have an exterior door installed in my kitchen, where there was a window. I had three contractors out for an estimate, including Greg. The other two contractors informed me that this was a huge project that would exceed many thousands of dollars and would require a stucco company that was difficult to schedule. Greg provided a prompt and reasonable estimate without any fuss or dramatics. Greg quickly obtained the permit, and his team worked fast and did a stellar job. We are thrilled!! Greg also volunteered--volunteered!--to provide us with materials so we could do our own little demo project in another area of the house. He told us what to do and picked up his materials when we were done. He could've easily charged us for the materials or told us that we shouldn't do it ourselves. Instead, he was honest and didn't rip us off. I'll definitely be calling Greg again for future projects.
