I was recommended Joe and his company from a very trusted friend so I knew they would be great and they did not disappoint one bit. I actually expected the job to take a lot longer than it did. I am so proud to show off this house and even more proud to recommend this company to my friends. I will not use anybody else in the future other than Joe and his amazing Crew. I would also love to give a shout out to a few people on his crew cause I feel they really took this project personally and not just looked at it as just another job which is so incredibly rare these days. Jerry, Joaquin, Brian and Gus really went above and beyond. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for everything you have done on this huge project.

It was so nice to have someone show up for both the original estimate and for the application of the garage floor exactly on time as promised. The quality of both the product and application process was excellent. The workers were very meticulous and concerned about the quality of their work. Consequently, my garage floor looks completely new and showroom perfect. Absolutely thrilled with this company and I would recommend them to anyone who needed a garage floor application.

I very rarely post reviews for anything good or bad, but my experience with Affordable made me take the time to do so today. I knew I had a broken overhead spring, and possibly opener issues as well. The owner, Jeremy, was very friendly/professional on the phone, and we decided to go with his company. He showed up right on time, made the repair quickly, and the price was EXACTLY what he said it would be. There was never any sales pressure or "selling up" that you hear about with the big companies. We hired Lou (Fernald Homes) after receiving 4 other estimates for our complete kitchen/breakfast nook remodel. We also had carpeting throughout the house replaced with luxury vinyl flooring and had the dining room and living room painted. The cost was competitive and what we expected. We are very happy we chose this family-owned business. Lou and his son Jess are very friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. Lou arranged and scheduled all the contractors (electrician, plumbing, construction, painters, flooring install) and was present and overseeing everything each day someone was here. He has worked with his contractors for years and they all did excellent work! The total remodel was done in a timely manner and Lou kept us informed every step of the way. He was great with returning our calls. He also had some great suggestions for the kitchen layout. Lou also made sure we were happy with everything. We had a few issues that came up along the way which were corrected immediately to our satisfaction. Even though it can be stressful doing a remodel it was a pleasant experience and we really enjoyed working with Lou, his son, and his contractors. We are planning to do a bathroom remodel in the future and we definitely will hire Lou again! If you are planning a remodel I would highly recommend Lou/Fernald Homes! You will not be disappointed!

Matt was very prompt and according to my Mother - in law who was home was very polite. Matt was hired to replace ceramic tile in our kitchen that had been damaged due to a leaky kitchen pipe. He also came back and grouted our cement block on the outside and replaced drywall on the inside. Would definitely use Matt again.
