    My project manager, Chris Grose, was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with and always responded to my inquiries and questions. His carpenters did an excellent job and the finishing work of the wainscoting matches existing exactly. I was also very happy with his drywall contractor. The drywall contractor made sure the employee he sent to do the work could match our existing textured drywall on the ceiling portion of the job. It matches perfectly! This was a relatively small job but I never felt like it was less important than any other projects Chris was managing. I'm very happy with Chris and Northrup and will hire them again. I recommend you hire them too

    The owner himself came and did the estimate. It was somewhat higher than the company we chose. The bid for the replacement of the flat roof section would probably have turned out quite low, as we found out. The owner did not inspect the flat roof section when he did his estimate. Also, the work would have been warrantied for only 5 years

    This is the second time we have used Dan. He built us a gym, with a sauna install. We hired him back. He is without a doubt the most reasonable and quality I have ever worked with. He does not try to talk you into things, he actually talks you out to make sure he keeps you on budget. We got everything we wanted, and he built us a bar as well. He allowed us to do a few things to save on cost. He is kind, funny, direct, but open to what you want to do. He wants you to be happy with the end product. His subs are all vetted by him and they were all top notch. My only issue, was the delays with subs, but it is 2022 and we all need patience

    The work was done as promised. The new deck is gorgeous. We met the owner, the construction workers, and the Coordinator. I was amazed by how well they communicated with us and the team. I really think the Coordinator role makes everything run smoothly. We have never had such a good experience with a Construction Company.     We hired Andy (Load Bearing Wall Company) to “remodel” our 120 year-old, two story porch. After his first inspection, it became obvious that we needed to “rebuild the porch”. The roof on the second floor had never been tied into the house, the main vertical structural elements were just boxes of thin wood and the floor on the first level had a cracked structural floor beam (always wondered about the progressive floor sag). Andy and his consultants engineered a system to tie the existing roof into the main building without the need for replacement saving 40-50k. Solutions were also found to strengthen the vertical supports and replace the cracked beam. We now have a beautiful, structurally sound porch with two nicest rooms in the house. Andy is an excellent communicator. Estimates were spot on and when problems were encountered, he always provided solutions at several price points. Would I use him again? We’re already planning the next project
