Memphis Faucet Installation

My kitchen faucet was leaking. I called Conway for service. The technician came exactly at the appointment time. He was very professional in communication with me. He looked at the problem and identified that my faucet needed to be replaced. He then gave me two quotes: $586 to install a new faucet if I buy the faucet, or $789 if he provides the new faucet. I felt his quotes of the price were way too high. I simply paid him a service call fee and let him go. Later I spent $135 and bought a new faucet from Lowe's. I installed the faucet myself within about an hour. It is really a straightforward installation. The kitchen has never leaked since then. I understand companies need to make a profit, but I don't know how this company justifies its quote.

Everything started well with traditional plumbing. When they were asked to come and give me a quote, they were quick and professional. However, that was the only good part about my experience with them. They did work in three different bathrooms (2 full baths and a 1/2). They came to my house on three separate occasions, never finishing a job (something was always missing-- to the point were me and my contractor finished stuff out of frustration). On the first visit, plumber installs incorrect faucet in the powder room (he was provided with a list with pictures with noted on which faucet went where), also he states there is something wrong with the connection and can't finish the job. Second visit, they were actually responsive and about 4 plumbers show up, 3 work, the other one just seems to stand around. my master shower drain pipe is replaced, the double vanity connection installed, and both shower trims installed. They were missing the faucets for the master bathroom, wax ring for a toilet and the tub drain kits. Third visit, one plumber comes, I point out that my drains in the tubs haven't been changed, he states that my tubs are "custom made" so he doesn't have the materials, and does not have the materials to install the toilet either. Installs 2 faucets in the master bath, when he finishes, they look quite horrible, I told him I had two other ones that came with the vanity, to swap them out and return those two.I told him I understood that it was my fault and that I would happily pay for the extra hours of labor. He states, no problem, I will return them, the labor is going to be the only extra charge. At this point the hall bath faucet is leaking he fixes this as well. A week goes by and still getting the run around about my tub, take maters into my own hands, measure the drain, it is a standard drain on both tubs, a regular wax ring, go to the department store, and finish the jobs myself. Now one of the master baths faucets is leaking, I will fix it myself cause It is pointless to waste time dealing with this company. Weeks go by and get a second bill from traditional, no itemized description of charges. They state I received a carbon copy. They gladly scan it and send it to me. In the charges I get charged for the two faucets I was told I could return, when I point this out they stated "we will look into it". I told them If I had kept them, or I was charged a restocking fee it would be ok, but not the whole price of two faucets that are not even in my possession. Never heard again from them. I payed promptly and in full because I do not like owing anything. However their customer service, and plumbers have much left to be desired. I wanted to give them a fair shot, but I will never be calling them again.

As usual, we called the Douglas Bros to come out and do extensive plumbing work when we installed new granite counter tops. They installed a new faucet and did great work, once again, as usual. Great family owned company. I highly recommend them for any plumbing work.

Everything went smoothly and we really like our new faucet. These folks have been available to help us at our home, as well as at our barn. We will continue to call on them for our future needs.

I used them because they are in my neighborhood. They came over and were very prompt. They took off their shoes when they came in, so they were very respectful of my property, which is something I think highly of. They got to work very quickly. I liked the way they used their time. The estimate was right on target and we haven't had problems since. He gave me a couple of tips on how to use the new kitchen faucet. I was thankful that he gave me tips on how to keep it lasting a long time. I will use them again.

On time, courteous. This is a new home and they charged less than the estimates given at inspection. They worked hard to get me the best options at the best price and explained everything they were doing and why it was necessary.

One of the visits required that Sheetrock be cut for gas stove connection and another visit required cutting Sheetrock to repair the bathroom leak. The third visit was for the new faucet to be installed. Extremely pleased with all communication as well as the work. A small company so be patient to have the work done. Donna coordinates w/Mark for scheduling and they are worth the wait. The plumber and helper are professional and knowledgable. They explain what is needed and clean up after completion. Wade is our new plumbing company.

Good ratings persuaded me to use them. However, the cost to exchange a faucet for two bathrooms was $1300 so I did not use their services for that. The plumber that came was very clean like Mr Clean. He wore covers on his shoes, he was personable and did a great job with what I asked him to do.

The work went well. They were timely. I had supplied the new faucet and it required some additional parts to marry it up with my system. They were able to install it with no issues. It was a cumbersome installation, due to the nature of the work. They were very knowledgeable and able to fix a problem with my shower faucet I had been living with for years.

The appt. was made about 2 weeks in advance since they were booked up. The plumber showed up a day ahead of schedule, but it worked out fine. The plumber installed the new faucet quickly and efficiently. He was very personable and worked fast. He discovered the problem we had been having with the old faucet (reduced flow). We were very pleased with this service in every way.

My husband and I were very impressed with the quick response and professionalism. The faucet needed replacement. No time was wasted. A new faucet was purchased and installed without incident. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend them to others! I would trust them with any other plumbing jobs.

We ordered new kitchen counter tops without knowing that the contractors only disconnected the sink plumbing, and would not re-connect. the fixtures. In a panic I called Ken Tyler and told him of our plight. WHAM! His plumber was out that afternoon. It was a big job because our plumbing was not up to code (fly by night original installers) and plus, the new sink drains were offset and didn't line up with the existing plumbing. Ken's guys attacked the problem, completely gutted the entire system,and the next day, completed a very professional job. I highly recommend Ken Tyler Plumbing! The Angie's list discount helped, but more importantly, her recommendation of only the best is worth it.

We were planning to replace a kitchen faucet ourselves (we've both done them before) but couldn't get the old faucet off! After several attempts by us and our handy friends, we gave up and called Terhune. Their technician arrived a little early, was pleasant and professional and got right to work. For someone who knows what they're doing, this was obviously a walk in the park. In about a half hour, he was out the door and on his way, and we had a shiny new faucet in place! No muss...no fuss. This was our first experience with them. We'll call them the next time we need plumbing help.

It went very well. They not only repaired the inept work of the former plumber, but they restored our confidence. I will definitely call them back. The repairman, Nick, was very neat, and I did not have to clean up after him. All the plumbing in the house is now working as it should.

I called Wednesday and they sent Joe over right away for a free estimate. My kitchen faucet shook and made knocking noises when the water was turned on. The water pressure was very poor. Joe recommended replacing the faucet or cleaning the stems. We decided to replace the old faucet for a new one. We also wanted a new garbage disposal installed. He said he thought he could get it all installed in less than 2 hours. My husband and I said we would go to Lows and get all the stuff. After Joe left I called the company back and they said Joe could come back first thing in the morning to get started. He got to my house at 8:50 a.m. and was done and gone by 10:45 a.m. He was very nice, honest, and professional. He charged me for labor only sense I had all the supplies he needed. After my $25 coupon it only costs $174, whicj I thought was very reasonable. Every thing works great! Thanks Joe and great job Rooter Man Plumbing!
