Memphis Dishwasher Installation

He told me what it would cost to fix it and that it wouldn't cost that much more to buy a new dishwasher. He told me about a store that was closing and had good dishwashers on sale. He called them for me and got the prices of different models. He suggested that I shop around and check back with the store that he called. Thanks to his help, I got a good quality dishwasher installed at a good price. I would recommend A Plus to anyone.

The repairman showed up on time, checked on my dishwasher and gave me an estimate to repair it. I approved the repair and he repaired the dishwasher. He charged just what he told me initially even though he ran into a problem and it took him longer to repair the dishwasher than I think he expected. He was very professional and worked quickly. I would use this company again.

Cost $245 to install a Bosch dishwasher, which was the same brand as my existing dishwasher! The kicker was that even after charging me $245 to install a $700 dishwasher, they didn't even install it correctly. Couldn't get the dishwasher to mount to the granite countertops. I now have to call a separate handyman to install brackets so that the dishwasher will mount properly to the granite countertops. Horrible, overpriced service. Technicians didn't seem to know what they were doing (which is why it took so long to install) and I got to pay for their on the job training.

I called in advance for an estimate of time it would take. The plumber was able to install the dishwasher and check on our ice maker line in the time estimated. I was very pleased. The dishwasher has now been installed a couple weeks with no problems at all!

He explained the problem, adjusted a setting on the dishwasher, and charged us only for the service call. A great result.

We had a drain back up behind our washer! This was a tough one to find due to the way the drainage system was built! This guy was determined and after looking through several outlets both inside and out he cleared the issue! On top of that it was pouring rain outside where he had to check the trap! Outstanding effort! A few days later our dishwasher would not turn on! When the tech came to the house it was determined the the previous tech unplugged the dishwasher for some of his equipment! Honest mistake! I made the service call and technically owed the $75.00! I called Greenway expecting to have to pay, but to their credit they waived the fee! Please thank them for true customer service!

Home Depot was supposed to deliver as well as install a dishwasher over the weekend. When Home Depot made it to my home, they took one look at the valves underneath my sink, and told me that my valves were the wrong size. They were unable to do the installation. I told them that will call a plumber to finish the work. They left my dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen floor and left. I Dennis Wright Plumbers after that and my problem was solved. The plumbers quickly told me that my double stop valves were fine and did not need to be replaced. I could have been overcharged if I had went by what Home Depot had told me. Thanks to the Dennis Wright Plumbers for being honest and efficient.

This is a followup report. They called to tell me that the parts that were ordered for the repair came in. We set up an appointment for the repairman to come and repair the oven and dishwasher. He called me 10 minutes before he came and he was on time. He repaired the controls for the oven and the dishwasher. He tested both before leaving. He left me the old parts and took the time to show me what had gone wrong. The repair cost was a little less than the estimate. I have already referred this company to someone at work and they were very pleased with their experience also.

He was on time, put down mat to wipe feet and wore foot covers. Very thorough diagnostic process. Friendly. Would use again and recommend.

Our dishwasher had not been cleaning for several days. A-Plus was able to get someone out within 2 business days to evaluate the problem. The woman on the phone at the office who scheduled the appointment provided excellent customer service with a good attitude. She even thanked me for giving them the opportunity to serve my needs. The technician showed up on time and called about 30 minutes in advance to confirm his arrival. He was professional and knowledgeable. He determined the needed repair, then advised me of the cost for parts and anticipated labor. He was frank and said that, given the age of the machine (10 years), it would probably be wiser to replace it than repair it due to the high cost of repair. (The part alone was $250.) When I asked if he had any suggestions as to good brands to buy, he gave me his experienced opinion. I was only charged for a service call. I was very impressed and expect to use this company in the future when I need appliance repair.

I called and set and appointment. Service man called the day of the appointment and said that he would be at my home within 30 minutes (I had been given a 4 hour window). He came when he said. He checked out my non-working dishwasher and said that my "lockout" button was stuck. He reset it, and said that if it did it again I would need a new control board. He suggested that I would probably be better off buying a new dishwasher (no, he wasn't selling new ones) because the cost of a new control panel would be about half the price of a new machine. My dishwasher is over 10 years old and he doubted that the parts would even be available. He was honest and didn't try to perform a service that I didn't need. I would call this company again for other services.

Vern did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing the line, then ran the dishwasher to make sure there leak was gone, which it was.

They were great. They sent me an email the night before letting me know when they would be there and called when they where heading that way. Aaron came out and looked at my dishwasher. He showed me all the prices on an I-pad before he started so I didn't get a surprise bill at the end. He had the part on his van and fixed it right then. He was very clean, used shoe covers and his own floor mat. Very nice. Will definitely call them if anything else breaks.

He called me the day after I purchased the service and agreed to my requested date & time. He called 30 minutes before the appointment, and showed up on time. I explained the problem, and he was able to reproduce it. He said it was one or all of three possible parts and gave me an estimated cost, but he also told me that my brand of dishwasher was problematic, and replacing the parts may not fix the issue. Given the cost & risk, I declined the repair. He did not charge me for the trip. Even though he did not fix the problem, he showed up on time, was honest about the cost & risks, and did not charge for the visit. Because of those three counts, he gets an A+.
