Tom Hamilton is a rarity. I was forewarned about hiring a contractor and told many horror stories. Tom proved to be the exception. He was honest, punctual, and reliable. The building process lasted about 5 months and we talked almost every week day during the process. He kept me abreast of all developments so that we could address issues together on a timely basis, providing input and suggestions about various aspects of the work but leaving the decision up o me. I am very pleased with my new house and will recommend Tom to anyone who asks.

The two owners of this company - Charles Stott and David Davis were involved in every aspect of building our first custom home. They helped with site selection, picking and revising a home plan, and then offering great suggestions during the building process. When we had issues with the developer, they stepped up and went to bat for us! One year later, they quickly addressed the few issues we had (limited nail pops, a wobbling ceiling fan) and got the subcontractors back to get things rights. Our building experience with Venture Homes was a pleasure.

I was very pleased with our experience with Mark. He builds good quality houses. When he built ours I called within the first year of owning the home regarding some problems and his secretary never passed along the message. He moved from building homes to corporate buildings so we had a hard time following up with him. Five years later we happened to find him so we got with him and he hired someone to come out and fix everything that needed free of charge. That to me tells me is his honest and trustworthy.

I really just want to warn everyone do not work with me. I have an outstanding suit against him. He has caused me to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars. He kind of disappeared and didn't finish either project. He is a crook. He is bottom of the barrel on everything, but a good con-man.

It was good. Their quote was considerably less. They were very honest, personable and timely. I probably need to get another quote because they said that they really can't do anything and that it's just an old house. They said that it really wasn’t necessary. Another company said that they need to do all this work and that they were the only ones that will take on an old house. I need to talk to at least one other company. Their responsiveness and professionalism were very good.

Mid South Homebuyers
We are in a 2006 condo building that Terry Kerr and Ray Porter built. The 2 year-old roof that Terry Kerr and Ray Porter put on had to be stripped down to the wood and replaced. Side of building is peeling because they used drywall products on the outside of building. Tile floors are cracking, floors are sinking. We recently discovered there is no insulation between the condo units. Terry Kerr claims he is bankrupt, and is now under new name, MidSouth Homebuilders. Beware of anything with his name on or near it.

Mark Froelich Builders did an okay job on the original build of our home. The quality of our home was okay. But I was pretty frustrated with them. They were very slow about coming back to do the repairs we requested. They are pretty non-responsive also.

The job went well the door was installed in about 4 hours, service was very good. This was a DIY project until I talked to Mr Bush his price and delivery was good. Mr Bush was very helpful in giving me advice on how to build the opening for the door. When it comes to garage doors Bush is at the top of my list.

We saw Brad build a beautiful storage shed in our Cordova neighbors backyard, then we obtained a verbal reference from the neighbor. We are retired, so we saw him hard at work from our kitchen windows! His pricing is extremely reasonable, especially compared to 3 other quotes we got. He did excellent work on everything he did for us and at neighbors. We had not noticed the fascia and rafter problems until he showed us. His repairs saved us bigger problems later. We are going to use Brad in the future to install hardwood floors, tile. crown molding, interior paint, and anything else that needs to be done. Brad went "the extra mile" to make sure everything was correct. In 38 years of home ownership, Brad is the best we have used in home improvement.

Recent Review: I absolutely recommend, they did a excellent job remodeling our bathroom from 1950s style to more modern look. We have a old antique bathtub that they refinished and brought back to life. This company did a excellent job painting, Sheetrock, floors and rebuilding a wall that was missing.
