Jason and his crew Amber, Connor, Nick & Natalie did a great job. They took up four 4x4 post in concrete and replaced them with 6x6 post leveled not an easy job. After that was done Jason started building the gates to the new post. Everything looks fantastic there cleanup made the place look better than before they started. If I ever need fencing work done they will be the first ones I call. Considerate and Helpfu

They got us scheduled quickly and were always there early. Worked about 10 hours every day to get the job done. Mauricio, the owner kept in touch regularly to make sure things were going as we had hoped. They did an absolutely beautiful job. Would hire again!

Wonderful experience with Good Shepherd Fence Company. The owner, Chad, was terrific to work with. All of his employees did a great job and his office lady was very helpful too. The timeline and quality fence installation/product is much appreciated as we have young grandchildren we wanted to keep safely contained in our yard and our new quality fence delivers that. Thanks again, Chad, much appreciated

We are very pleased with the whole project. Ryan was quick to come out for the estimate, worked with us on improving the design and pricing several different material options and ultimately working with an entirely different material than originally estimated. His group finished the paddock very quickly as we had an immediate need for it, and then finished the pasture areas in the late winter as the weathered allowed, as we didn't need them until now. His pricing was very competitive and he was very good about contacting us and following up on little details

We needed to fence in the backyard of our new home for our two small dogs. Ryan came out quickly after my initial phone call in August. We discussed where it was best to put the fence in relation to lot size and other fences in the neighborhood. We also discussed the different kinds of fences (even though I was pretty sure of what kind we wanted). I felt fully informed about fences when he left. I received two other estimates but decided to go with Bullseye because I just liked the friendliness of the salespeople and felt like this was the company I'd feel most comfortable working with. We had to get approval from our homeowners association before proceeding. Once we had approval, Bullseye quickly put our job on their construction schedule. Rod came out and put in the rope line to show exactly where the fence would be and made sure position was where we wanted. Installation of the fence was a two day process. They installed the posts and then came back a few days later to install the fence. I was truly amazed how quickly they worked--the fence and 3 gates were up in about 2 hours. The picket fence was stick built not pre-made panels. Our dogs are thrilled to once again have a yard to roam free in! Several neighbors have mentioned how nice the fence looks! I would highly recommend Bullseye Fence to anyone looking to put up a fence on their property

Ryan and his crew were great. They knew we had two dogs and had just moved in to the house. They moved us up in their schedule so we could get the fence in before the ground froze. The fence is great! The crew worked in the pouring rain to put in the posts. They came back a few days later to install the fence panels and it snowed and was 20 degrees out! We really appreciated their hard work so this could get done before winter hit! Also, my husband was going to do this himself but after pricing out materials (for an aluminum fence) it was only about $1,500 more to have Bullseye do it and we got steel with a warranty. Well worth it and my husband didn't have to do the work

Overall, we picked them because they used cedar and we liked the style of the fence that they used and they put the posts in concrete and the example fences were great.

Great! Bullseye did a great job assisting me with designing a fence solution for a multi-acre property that would protect my dogs and my budget. I've used them for a custom fence solution at my previous home and will continue to call them first for any fencing project. Very professional and great at custom solutions

Chad came to the house gave me a very reasonable quote on our fence. His quote was the cheapest. The quality of the work was excellent. Dan and Joe placed the post; excellent job and Chad , David and Mat finished the job. Wow the fence is nice quality. Couldn’t be happier. Yes, I would use them again and plan to in the fall. I highly recommend this company you won’t be disappointed

This company is VERY hard to get a hold of. I had to basically chase them down to hire them. I emailed them, called them, messaged them through Angie's List before I was able to talk to them. I finally got a hold of Dave (the owner) on a Saturday morning via telephone. Once I got a hold of them it went well. They do great work and their price was responsible. And once the project got started they were really quick. They even worked through a rain storm to get it done in the same day

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
