THEY KEPT A WALKWAY AVAILABLE THROUGH THE KITCHEN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, AND WERE VERY PLEASANT. IT TOOK A FEW CALLS BEFORE I RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM THE OFFICE ABOUT ONE ISSUE, BUT THEY RESOLVED IT TO MY SATISFACTION. OVERALL, IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

HE INSTALLED LAMINATE FLOORING IN MY CONDO. I WAS TOLD THE JOB WOULD BE FINISHED IN 2 DAYS BUT AFTER THREE WEEKS IT IS STILL INCOMPLETE. WE AGREED UPON ONE TYPE OF FLOORING AND HE ENDED UP INSTALLING A CHEAPER VERSION WITH A LESSER WARRANTY. HE ALSO DID A POOR QUALITY INSTALLATION WHICH VOIDED THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. HE CHARGED ME FOR MORE SQUARE FOOTAGE THAN HE SHOULD HAVE, AND EXTRA FOR THE LABOR. I'VE ALREADY PAID $4200, AND HE IS SAYING THAT I STILL OWE $2470. THE PRICE AGREED UPON TOTALS, $5670.

We hated the horrible, cheap laminate installed by our builder and wanted to cover it with something that was easier to keep clean. Dorin Purkey was very helpful, bringing a variety of samples for us to see. He could have sold us on hardwood, but instead recommended an easy-care laminate with the look of hardwood and much less maintenance. The installation crew were terrific, and we love the new floor! It's very easy to keep clean with our Scooba robot floor cleaner, and we don't have to worry about minor water spills. The individual flooring pieces are replaceable if one ever gets damaged.

The contractor that worked for this company was Jason Holmes and he did a great job. There was a small scratch in it when he was done that he promptly replaced it. He was prompt and go the work done in two days. Very professional man and I would recommend him to anyone.

Recent Review: Danny's crew did an excellent job and were very professional and polite. Danny originally estimated the job to take two full days, but he brought extra men along and completed it the entire job in one day. They cleaned up all of their materials before they left and Danny said I could call him anytime if I noticed any imperfections. All the neighbors loved his work.

Recent Review: The hardwood flooring in the 1950s home I recently purchased was in poor condition. It likely had never been sanded, there were many scratches and dark stains, nails showing, and a few areas where boards had been replaced and it was very obvious. The previous owners had added a "floor rejuvenator" and didn't prep the floors correctly prior to application so it was peeling up in several places. I had some concerns about a large bow in the floor as well. Additionally, I wanted new flooring laid in two areas and was hoping for it to match the existing floors. All Wood Flooring was able to take care of all of these things and far exceeded my expectations in price, length of time it took for them to come out, and length of time of the job itself. The floors look beautiful and I'm so happy with the results.

Recent Review: Dave and his crew were exceptional. The floor is gorgeous. They were professional and clearly utilize their decades of experience to make the installation fast (3 installers, 2 full days). The instal date was set about 2 months in advance, and they came exactly on those dates. Delivery of the flooring a week ahead in order for the wood to aclimate to our home was also excellent. Finally, I had a quote from another company that was $1800 more expensive. I believe Guardian is able to charge lower prices because the owner is also the lead installer. No middleman to take 15-20% off the top.

Recent Review: Having your floors torn up in your living room, study and hallway is always stressful but Big Dog did their best to make it a good experience for me. I got quotes from multiple places and the owner Chip, gave me the best deal. So good that I was worried about "hidden" costs. He assured me that the quote was the price I'd be charged. Well, the house I married into is older and anytime we have work done some kind of problem comes up. Unfortunately, this situation was no different. My subflooring was some type of cork that absorbed moisture like a sponge and it had to be replaced. In order to save me money, Chip and his crew had me pay for only the materials, which amounted to a bunch of plywood. I was given a HUGE break on all the labor that went into the extra work involved. The finished job looks great ! My wife and I feel much better with our year old twins crawling on our new floor. Thanks Big Dog for all your hard work

Recent Review: I was required to pay $1425.35 for the materials up front. The contractor was required to remove the original floor system but found the builder installed two identical floor systems which reduced the labor. The installers said they had never previously encountered this situation. The underfloor looked brand new. The installer did a first class job and reduced my bill about $70.

Recent Review: The service went very well and we were satisfied with the job. A crew of 5-6 came out and the project was completed in about 3 days. They were very knowledgeable and professional. The staff did a great job and had great suggestions on everything that was installed- especially on the color for the counter tops. Even though they were in and out at different times they were not evasive. They did a great job with the cleanup after the service and scheduling the job was easy. My only complaint is that I did have to remind them about the work for the laundry room many times and we ended up have to move the washer and dryer back ourselves.

Recent Review: Just before the new year, a second floor toilet slowly overflowed for 10 hours. The result was soggy carpets, a ruined vanity cabinet, walls filled with water, ruined laminate flooring, light fixtures filled with water - you name it, it was affected - on the second and first floors and the basement. Our insurance company allowed us to pick the contractor. I wanted to work with someone local, so I checked Angie's List for help. I called A&D Hydra Clean and talked to Kyle who immediately put crews into action. They carefully inspected our home, finding places that were affected by the water that I hadn't thought to check. They pulled out affected carpet, flooring and cabinetry and installed a series of driers. Once the floors, ceiling and walls were dry, A&D replaced everything that had to come out due to water damage. They conferred with us at every step to be sure that the end result would suit our needs and desires and even made suggestions to prevent the same thing from happening again. The work happened quickly with attention to cleanliness, all the way to the final carpet cleaning. Here's the thing, not only did the work get done, every single one of the people who showed up for A&D was a delight. It was clear that each cared about our family as humans who have to work and live in our home. They put up with our cranky dog like champs. They thoroughly explained every detail to us, helping us make choices to maximize our insurance reimbursement. I would not hesitate to recommend A&D Hydra Clean.
