The whole process with Dave and Josh was a pure joy. Very professional, always followed up, always on time and quality of the work was beyond expectations. The price was also reasonable given some of the challenges faced. They came highly recommended to me and I want to do the same. They should be your group for epoxy flooring
- DR ContractorsDR Contractors did an excellent job. The owner came to our home within 24 hours of our request for an estimate. He was more knowledgeable and had a much better product than other contractors.We had termites in our garage, had that repaired, and decided to finally have our garage floor done with an epoxy. Many of the estimates we received came from companies that, while their estimators were polite, we didn't feel the products would be something we wanted as we needed something that would stand up to use over many years, not a floor epoxy that would have to be redone over and over.DR employees were polite, clean, worked efficiently. We did have a slight problem with the clear coat top epoxy itself but DR took complete responsibility without question and fixed our floor to our complete satisfactio

- DR ContractorsDR estimated that the work would take 7 days to complete. They arrived on the stipulated day at 8 am and each day until the project was completed. They finished on the 7th day of work. this was the 9th day from the start because they did not work the weekend. They were neat and kept the workplace as clean as possible. They cleaned up as they went and even the garage where they staged the work was cleaned daily. The workmen (Rick and Mark) were very courteous to me and my tenant. They kept us aware of what was going on and if there was an issue brought this to our attention immediately. While checking the basement they discovered that the drywall was still wet from water damage we ahd experienced. They suggested removing more of the drywall until they encountered dry drywall. This was removed and replaced correctly. The extra charged for this work was fair. I was concerned about how the installation of the dishwasher would go. Not because dishwashers are hard, but because the cabinets in the kitchen were custom made 50 years ago. They were not the individual cabinets such as installed today. To install the dishwasher they had to cut the existing cabinets apart, install the dishwasher and build new cabinets to match the existing. This was done extremely well. It looks like it was always there. I would use DR again and I would ask for Rick and Mark to be on the job
- DR ContractorsWe wanted to have our garage floor finished with an epoxy finish. I was able to get four estimates. When David came out he was the most professional of any of the companies that came out, he gave us the most complete information, and he had, what we considered to be, the best product. Due to the terrible heat and humidity during most of July, the progression of our epoxy flooring installation was slower than anticipated. When completed, though, we have a floor that will stand up to grease, weather, and still look great. David was extremely professional, knowledgeable (at one point, when there was something he wasn't totally sure of, he called manufacturer for info...we were pleased he acknowledged he didn't have the answer and that he did call for the answer), prompt, returned phone calls immediately, and HONEST!! His workers were very polite, clean, respectful, showed up on time, and cleaned up any messes they made. We would use this company again at any tim

The work was amazing and they performed with a great attention to detail. A 4-part process was impressive. They do traditional epoxy chip styles, but we went with a granite look. - Handyman Connection of CarmelWe contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It. He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number. What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out why they wanted it since they do not have any whales. He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house. The color really looked good. Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you
- Jimdandi PaintingDan with Jimdandi Painting was very knowledgeable and does Grade A+++ work. My garage floor was absolutely a mess with oil and all kinds of different stains. He was able to clean the floor and make repairs. The finish turned out great. It looks like a showroom floor now. After he did my garage floor I knew I wanted him to do work inside my house. He helped me with color combos to get the effect I was looking for. This room I spend the most time in watching games and I couldn't have asked for a better turn out. This room had some drywall repairs that were needed and a lot of sanding. He was very professional in making sure to keep the dust level down. He also did my three bed rooms and the closet in my master bedroom. The master bedroom closet was left with a lot of unfinished wood and had a funny smell. He was able to get rid of the smell and give a nice finish to the closet. The last room I had painted was my living room. I had two colors picked out that I hadn't decided on in which he suggested an accent wall. All my rooms turned out perfect. He was professional and all work was done in a timely manner. I would suggest using Jimdandi painting. I will be looking to get the outside of my house done in the spring time

"I received exactly what I wanted!! Great work and took about 2 1/2 hrs. The process was smooth and interactive, meaning, I helped to drive the end result. I shared a photo of a table I liked (marble), which had the right amount of veining, to my liking. Through the process, if I wanted more veining, I communicated where. It was a live piece created right before my eyes. With his expertise, the photo, and my input, through the process, I have a one of a kind masterpiece in my kitchen. Love, love, love, my table. It's polished, bright white, with greyish veining. The size is 54X54, square. I didn't know this process existed and am so glad I found it. It does not disappoint!! I previously had laminate on top of my table and the epoxy went right on top of the old.

"Mister Painter was awesome! We had drywall hung and taped in the rest of our garage as most of the insulation was still exposed. They were able to match another estimate we received and were also able to begin the work sooner. Jamie and another gentleman (I'm sorry, I cannot remember his name) came out to give the estimate on Thursday (9/3), started the work on Friday, (9/4) afternoon, and finished the work on Saturday (9/5) afternoon. It looks so much better than it did before, and we will definitely keep Mister Painter in mind for future projects!

"This was the second time I've worked with Tim and his crew on a project and have been extremely pleased both times! Tim is very easy to work with and responds to texts and calls very quickly. The estimate was detailed, and accurate; the only extra costs were due to a few unexpected issues that were found and the additional cost of addressing these issues was very reasonable. The work in the kitchen included removal of the old countertops and installation of a new solid acrylic surface. Tim dropped off a case with samples so I had plenty of time to select a color from the many available. The new countertop is high-quality and the installation looks great. The new stainless steel sink is excellent quality as well. They also installed a new faucet and garbage disposal that I had purchased and this went smoothly. The painting in the two rooms was nicely done as well and the installation of the new subfloor and carpet went well and looks great. The new vanity in the powder room is high quality, and the installation of that along with a faucet I purchased went smoothly. Everyone who works with Tim is very professional and I felt very comfortable having the crew in my house while I was at work. Cleanup was very thorough at the end of each day, and after project completion. Tim and one of his team members even put the big pieces of furniture back where they needed to go after the painting and carpet were done. I should also note that both times I have had work done by Tim and his crew, responsiveness continued after final payment was made. There were a few final touch ups that needed to be completed after I made the final payment and they were completed very quickly. On the previous job, a minor problem appeared about a month after the job was done (cracked floor tile) and Tim had someone out quickly to fix the issue. In a world of incredible disappearing contractors, this is very refreshing!

"Swimmingly—professional and thorough. Went the extra mile and even dealt with an unexpected problem. I feel bad because they did it at no additional cost but thought it was awesome they finished quickly—within the day—and performed beautiful work. We had selected and ordered the initial accent tiles for the job, but he consulted about best options for colors and sizes, gave us the name of a great tile store, and kept in touch which helped us—honestly, that was the best part. Both of us are working from home (which means we are both kind of constantly and unintentionally in some way partially working, ha!), so the follow up was genuinely stand out—in the home improvement industry, it is easy to find someone who does excellent work but misses an appointment. Clearly, that is not this business. They were prompt, follow-up AND actual tiling was indeed Top Notch. Included our fireplace—maybe not everyone’s style, but exactly what we wanted and frankly, better than what we imagined. 10/10, would undoubtedly hire again.
