Houston Mosquito Misting System Installation

We had very mixed experiences with this company. I contacted them a year ago to come to our house monthly to spray for bugs. For the first few months, they came out right on time and were very professional and thorough. Then we decided we wanted a mosquito misting system, and asked them to send someone out to give us an estimate. No one showed up, so we called back and set up another appointment. No one showed up again. The next time they came out to spray for bugs, I complained to the bug spray guy about the two missed appointments. He called the office and let them know how upset I was. Some one from the office called me the next day and set up a third appointment. This time someone came, and gave me an estimate. We set up a date for them to come out and install the system. The installation went very well. The two guys who installed the system were cordial, professional, and they did an excellent job. The mister works great, and we have hardly seen a mosquito in our back yard since. We installed an automatic gate in our driveway in March. I have been giving the code to our yard men and other contractors who need access to our back yard. It wasn't until after the scheduled pest control spray in May that we realized Nature's Pest had not called us for the gate code. How could they spray the perimeter of the house and garage if they couldn't get in to the back yard? We got a call from them on Saturday, June 1st, saying they would be out between 3 and 5 to spray for bugs. We made sure we were home and that our cell phones were on us in case someone called to get the code. We waited, but no one came or called to say why they didn't come. They didn't call or come on Monday either. But on Tuesday, I received a notice that they had charged our credit card for the service. I called them this morning and explained how upset I was. We are often not at home when they come to spray. Who knows how many months we have been paying $70 for them to call and say they would be coming to perform a service that they had no intention of performing? The employee I spoke to apologized and said she would report the problem to the company president and that she would credit my account for the last two months. I cancelled the pest control contract, but I am stuck with this company for the cleaning and maintenance of the mosquito misting system until I can find a more reputable company to to that job for me. I will attempt to spray for bugs myself. I feel very betrayed and angry.

I've been using this company since they bought out my previous one. They have always been responsive and timely. If I have a problem, they come out according to my schedule. I do pay for this monthly so that I'm not nickled and dimed every time there's a clog or a problem. I never have biting insects in my yard or spider webs on the house, It is safe for dogs, I have two that have never had any problems. I like that the misting is on a timer but that I also have a remote should I need an extra shot before spending time around the pool or BBQ'ing.

I waited a while to review this company because we had such a huge quantity of mosquitoes in our yard, I wasn't really convinced anything would solve the problem. We have lots of foliage in our backyard, with a pool and walkways that go in and out of the foliage. I like to spend mornings in the yard, either planting new plants, watering the ones I have, or just generally enjoying the yard. We also have an outdoor kitchen area and enjoy just sitting out in the yard in the evenings. I bought bug spray in three-packs so that I would always have plenty handy just to keep from being miserable from so many mosquito bites. I'm not a huge fan of having to hand a can or spray bottle of bug spray to my friends and family as they enter the yard, but that's what I was having to do. Welcome to the wonderful world of Houston humidity and mosquitoes. Bottom line is that this system was not an instant fix. It takes a few weeks (at least that's what I think) for this system to complete weeding out the mosquitoes. We have had the system now for about 4 weeks. I can tell you that I absolutely love it. I won't say that there is never a mosquito, but we can now sit out in the yard and really enjoy it. I haven't used bug spray at all, as I can handle a rogue mosquito occasionally. The crew who came out was professional, and showed us the simple remote control before they left and made sure we were pleased. I love the fact that we can skip a misting time, if we have company in the backyard, or we can just change the time of the spray easily with the remote. We have the contract for them to come out and replace the chemicals and watch for any problem with the nozzles. One thing that could cause my occasional rogue mosquito is that we only had the backyard treated. We don't entertain in the front, so decided to just do the back. We've been incredibly pleased.

We were unhappy with our previous provider and decided to try MosquitoNix on a monthly retainer basis. They reviewed and made repairs to our current system and have managed to keep the system running for the last 2 months. There service is a little more expensive than our previous provider but so far so good.

We could not have found a better company to do our misting system. Larry explained what we needed to cover our yard and the ongoing maintenance required. Larry doesn’t charge us to refill the tank on a schedule. He only refills the tank when necessary. We will definitely call Larry for all our pest control needs.

I think the fumigation works because I didn't see any bug so far. To be honest, I didn't believe the mosquito mist will work, but really works! I can go outside nearby the house without having any mosquito bite. :)

First identify the area to be protected from mosquitoes. Next figure out where to place the tank (it needs to be plugged in). Plan the route of the tubing and the number of nozzles. Finally - install. It took several hours. By now we have used it for two months, and it works great.

The bid was was acceptable and within range of the competition. The installation was done in a timely and efficient manner. I have absolutely no complaints about the company or its workmanship. That said, I am pretty sure I've wasted my money. The mosquito misting system is installed around 3/4 of my patio and pool deck. The misting system works as programmed, but I am still dealing with mosquitoes in the seating area closest to my house which also happens to be directly below the misting nozzles. The system comes on, sprays mist for 30 seconds and within 10-15 minutes I am swatting at mosquitoes. To be fair, we have not treated the yard for mosquitoes and plan to do that this coming summer. If between yard treatments and the misting system I am still bothered by mosquitoes then I will consider the whole misting system product a failure. If you are thinking about getting one, see if you can talk to people who have them. Maybe they have had better luck than me.

This Mosquito Misting Systems is the best,They also have a Great Deal on the refills compared to the other Companies I called. My family and Friends will be able to enjoy being outside for 4th Of July!

The salesman and his crew arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. The remote did not work properly, so they are going to return sometime this week with a new one. The system works well and there is a noticeable reduction in the number of mosquitoes on my back porch.

It did not kill the bugs and Finally they brought out different chemical. The whole thing became a nightmare and couldn't get calls back and my last conversation was yesterday and the man seemed confused. Apparently they do not keep records of problems or concerns. I am now using another company. Happy Bugs gone:-)

But after speaking with the Owner and also doing some research of my own that the chemical is safe for my children and my pets. The system was installed to my house and to my needs and We Love being outside by our pool now. I have been using them for pest control for two years now. I like the owner of the company. He is straightforward, no nonsense, honest, private, does what you need, and doesn't try to sell extra stuffs. I was highly recommended about them by my friend. They do a good work. They install mosquito systems as well as traditional pest control. Their mosquito system works really well because I do not have mosquitoes and that is worth everything you spend on it. They are reasonably priced, but it's not a bargain. You get what you pay for. They were very responsive.
