Houston Central AC System Installation

The crew showed up on time as promised. They were very neat, wearing protective coverings on their shoes when in the house and laying down dropcloths. They were very responsive to a couple of unforseen matters I brought up during the installation. They were able to remedy the situation to my satisfaction. They installed new drain lines, drain pans, and checked all the ductwork for leaks. They also installed dampers to my ductwork and checked air flow to make sure all the rooms were balanced. Overall, a very professional and thorough job.

Good. I was surprised it was the whole unit and not just the coils. The quoted price was $3300. This is mid-range in the estimates for this service. I was surprised the charge was $3350.

They did an excellent job. They came the same day that I called. Had it up and running with in an hour. They were very professional and cleaned up after them selves.

Our air conditioner went out late Thursday night. I called on Friday morning based on the companies reviews. (This was the Friday before July 4th). Those reviews were absolutely correct. Cody came out Friday afternoon and was able to tell us exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He indicated that his crew had been with the company quite a while and were trained and competent. Cody also indicated that he would be at our home with the exception of picking up a few miscellaneous parts throughout the entire installation. He was here and supervising the entire time. At the same time he replaced our air conditioner, he also replaced our hot water heaters. I felt extremely comfortable with the entire crew. The job was started and finished on time and my home was left in the same condition it was when the job was started. Although we interviewed another company, we chose Bay Area and would do so again anytime. The professionalism of the company and the value for the money cannot be beat. As an aside, our neighbor came down and asked Cody if he could fix their air conditioner as they had a baby. They had called and no one could come until after the 4th. Cody made sure their air conditioner was repaired so that their baby did not have to be in a hot home over July 4th. This company cares about their customers and their customers neighbors.

I was 6:00 PM Sunday night and my husband and mother said at best we could call someone in the morning. I went on Angie's List and found Air Tech of Houston, but could not find a coupon that fit our issue. I saw they showed to be 24/7, but did not want to pay overtime or emergency fees. I went ahead and called at 7:00 PM and left a message with an answering service. Mr. Wagner called back at 7:30 PM and left a message. Needless to say I returned his call and after confirming there were no additional charges for the day and time - he was at our house at 8:05!! Wow, I never expected that type of response or service. Billy reviewed the system and problems. He replaced the Starter Kit, Condenser, 2 caps, burnt wires, Freon hoses, and added 4 lbs. of Freon. WOW - amazing. He checked our system in the attic and we will be scheduling a visit in the fall for him to check the setup of the complete AC and heating system. After having many other companies come out to repair our AC in the past I think we have found the best. Thank you!!

Cody rocks! A failed AC unit in the dog days of summer is pure misery. Cody responded quickly. He's prompt, honest, and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed it. I had AC cooling down my house within an hour. Thanks Cody!

We have used the same company to service our air conditioner for fourteen years now, as they are great. They come yearly to do the maintenance and if we call them they come very quickly. I have asthma and have had a need to call them in the middle of the night when our air conditioner has gone out and they have come out to repair our system immediately. They are excellent. We recently bought a new central air system from them and they installed it. We found them great as usual.

Cold Temp Air & Heat HVAC specialist came over and found the problem. It was Freon leaking from one of the tubes. That specialist explained to me my repair options. He was very professional and honest about what should be replaced. He advised me to replace only those parts of my HVAC system that should be replaced. He also provided to me several quotes, which were very reasonable and absolutely way better than the quotes for the same repairs that I have received from other companies. The next day the installers came over and very quickly and very well replaced my outside AC unit. I will recommend Cold Temp Air & Heat company for any HVAC related repairs. They are true professionals and very honest about what should be done on HVAC system. Additionally, they will provide a very good deal on any components of HVAC system.

We were very impressed with Autumn Air because they were so honest with us. Other companies told us we needed to replace the unit, but this company fixed it very inexpensively. They were very professional.

Original equipment was 24 years old. Time for a new unit. Got everything scheduled after talking with Kevin and getting an exact quote and deciding the proper equipment to replace old stuff. Once decided came out 2 days later, tore out old central air conditioning unit/heater and old duct work and replaced everything in 4 hours. Nice, so far so good. Of course the real test of the service is if anything service wise comes up. Feel good about everything though - including warranty, etc.

The work was fine. It's a very old house and they had to remove the door to get the A/C unit out and they banged out some of the paint but they came back and fixed it. The salesman was very helpful. He was excellent. I think the quality was excellent. I am perfectly happy. I have no reason to be unhappy. I found them helpful.

I was out of town for the weekend. I returned home about 7:30 PM on Sunday night to find my house was at 89 degrees and the air conditioner unit was not running. After some fiddling with circuit breakers and the thermostat I knew I had to call for service. I have a maintenance contract I buy each year from Week's Service Company. Even at 7:30 PM on a Sunday night I was able to reach an on-call AC technician. He was at my house in less than 30 minutes and about one hour after making the call my AC was up and running again. The tech was very professional in his work and quick to diagnose the problem and replace a pesky capacitor. All is working well now. I have used Weeks Service Company in the past and would highly recommend them. Yes, I would use them again.

The repairman arrived on schedule and expeditiously found and repaired two leaking coolant lines, and recharged the systems with coolant. This is an excellent HVAC service and installation company, which I have used many times over the last 10 years. They are always on time and professional in their work, though there have been a couple of times I have had them come back to re-do a minor aspect of some repair work, such as when a repaired heater safety shut-off switch came loose several days later, shutting down our heater until the switch could be repaired again. I have been very happy with them overall primarily because they are unquestionbly honest! The only nit I would pick with them is that it can be hit-or-miss getting a response back from them when you call for service. Several times I have had to call more than twice to finally get service scheduled.

I was so impressed with this company. They came on time and even called thirty minutes before they came. They wore covers on their shoes, so they wouldn't get my carpet dirty. I thought they were very polite and courteous.

Our air conditioner stopped cooling and we called for service. The technician came the next day and checked the freon and replaced several pounds. The air conditioner cooled that evening but the next day stopped cooling. We called back and the technician came the same day and realized there was a leak in the system. He checked the condenser coil and found that it was leaking and needed to be replaced. They quoted the price and it was reasonable and we had the work done. The air conditioner has been great ever since.
