Cody was great. He showed up on time and worked through the day. He changed a light fixture on a 20 foot ceiling, a ceiling fan on a 16 foot vaulted ceiling, patched a ceiling drywall hole, and installed pendant lighting all in one day. He was friendly, professional, and worked hard.

Very professional, showed up when planned, stayed estimated time that was paid for, did an exemplary job in repairing ceiling and installing ceiling fan, and then went to the other bedroom and installed another ceiling fan as well. Overall very pleased with the job and the professional way it was handled.

Polite, responsive, called before they arrived. Removed old ceiling fans and assembled/ installed new fans. Both are sturdy and working great! One ceiling fan was a "tricky" install and they were able to fix it without any problems.

Jeremy was very prompt at arriving for an estimate. He provided a reasonable estimate and time-frame to complete the work. He installed a new drywall ceiling on top of the plaster ceiling, then added a custom crown moulding to the job. The final job was professional and 100% improvement from the original.

Fantastic, Scott was on time, on task and very informative and professional. Use safety equipment to enter attic to build support for new ceiling fan. Cleaned work are after he completed job. Was informative as to future projects we are planning that he can do. We will certainly use Scott for future home projects and recommend him to our family and friends. Such a pleasure to find a true craftsman.

I am updating this review because one of the ceiling fans hung by Dadstask fell out of the ceiling! On inspection it was screwed to shim strips instead of any secure wood mounting area. The electrical hookup was incorrect and the ground was not connected. Dadstask left a mess and did nothing to clean up after themselves. The whole experience was pretty unprofessional, with one worker taking calls about an unsatisfied customer whose toilet was leaking after they left the job. I ended up having to help them assemble the light and they were in a big hurry to leave. This is inconsistent with the fact that they went into the attic to secure one of the ceiling fan boxes that was loose. It is baffling to that they would then improperly and insecurely hang another fan in a way that caused it to fall from the ceiling.

Had work done to repair a leak through my kitchen ceiling near a light fixture. They came out and opened up the ceiling, checked out all the wiring to make sure there was no permanent damage, and then came back after a couple days to re-plaster. The guy who came out took his time explaining everything to me about what he was doing, the material used, and even kept a ceiling sample so I could take it to Home Depot for color matching. Overall, a great experience and excellent workmanship.

Originally, Dad's Tasks came to my home in December 3, 2012 for some general repairs. One of the items on the list was to repair my daughter's ceiling fan. The gentlemen explained that the problem was with the fan itself, and that we needed a new one. So, when the ceiling fan package became available on-line, I purchased one. There were some mis-steps along the way. Darryl and Kelly are very committed to customer satisfaction. They made sure the problems were corrected. Now, happily, my daughter has a working ceiling fan in her room.

We had ceiling damage from a leaking toilet. Apollo also replaced our toilet in a prior visit. Both visits were good with work done in the specified time. Price was higher than a traditional handyman but we used Apollo for both due to the prior toilet/ceiling issue was caused by poor installation and fix of a prior much cheaper handyman. The Apollo handyman really did good work and completed all spackling/sanding due to having drying equipment to get the job done in one visit. I’ve had a lot of drywall patches done in the past and I think this is the best I’ve had. Price could be better but worthwhile for me to pay after having been burned by prior providers.

He was personable. He made a conscientious effort to try to do the best he could with the painting in the kitchen, but the paint did not go on very well. He went back three times in the same day to make it work, because he did not like the way it looked. He did the best he could, but it may have just been the paint. There were areas he missed in the bathroom. The overall experience was good. I think he was very intentioned to do the best he could do. He was punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this provider again, depending on the project.

Darryl installed a ceiling fan for me on my cathedral ceiling in my living room. This replaced an existing one. He did a great job! One that I wouldn't have been able to do on my own, or even with help. It looks very nice and as always, Darryl knows what he's doing.

I had a plumbing issue so the plumber had to cut a hole in the ceiling. I was worried about the patch work because of the stamped textured ceiling pattern and how they would match it. They exceeded my expectations! You can't even see where the hole was and I have yet to paint it. They were polite, friendly, and professional.

Recent Review: I cannot say enough about Jose's Painting and Handyman Services! From the time I requested an estimate until the time work was complete, they were very responsive to any questions I had. The day of the work, the crew arrived on time and were very efficient. It only took one day to get everything done! They were professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves. Not to mention doing a great job with the painting! I took down two cabinets and discovered a hole in a wall which they repaired for me with no problem. I would not hesitate to hire them again for more work.

Recent Review: I used Don at my previous home so when I moved and needed some repairs and renovations done, I knew he was the right person to call. He has done numerous jobs for me in my new home including gutting my kitchen and installing brand new cabinets with crown molding, replacing old ceiling fans, repairing a leaking tub, repairing and finishing vinyl plank flooring that was poorly done by another contractor and replacing faucets and toilets. Don is punctual and professional but above all else the work that he does is top notch.

Recent Review: Bill and his co-worker were very courteous, friendly, flexible, and hard-working. It was not a fun or easy job they had to do! They were also very helpful in advice when asked about other issues found. I already have them scheduled for my next job because they: 1) know what they are doing, 2) have the tools to get the job done, 3) can get the work done quickly and efficiently.

Recent Review: Blue Sky's 2 window washers were at the house for for almost three hours, working all the time but for a ''rain" break. I wasn't home, but my wife, Vanessa, and our crew of small dogs followed them around and were exacting quality controllers. When I got home the spider webs and dog nose smudges were gone, and Vanessa was smiling.

What do customers in Cincinnati say about Remove Popcorn Ceiling?

Having been impressed with Joe Wood by how he dealt with some issues following a pressure washing job his company had done for us, we hired him to create a new stamped texture cover for our garage attic access and to repair a hole in the popcorn ceiling of our kitchen that had been cut out to repair a leak from a soil stack. Joe and Dennis came out and the new attic access cover was done without incident. Joe told us he would try to get a close approximation to the original ceiling texture, and although it is different, it blends well enough not to stand out. The repair of the hole in the kitchen ceiling was far more difficult. After doing the drywall repair to close up the hole, Joe first tried using a can of the popcorn texture spray, but the first can wouldn't spray, so he had to go get another. He didn't like the way the spray came out of the can because it was difficult to control. He scraped the texture off and tried applying it again with shorter bursts, but still didn't like the results, so he scraped it off again. He tried applying the texture with a roller but that caused the existing popcorn around the repair area to come off. He tried using a paint brush without good results. Joe ended up reapplying the texture he'd scraped off with a sanding blade or wide putty knife. The new texture looked thicker on one side with some lines left by the blade so he went over it to get it more even before he left, but he thought it might need touching up so he planned on coming out again. Joe called me later that afternoon to say he had gone to Menard's and found a popcorn texture gun, had been practicing with it, and thought he could do a better job with it. By that evening the texture repair he'd done had dried and had a cracked appearance, like soil in a drought. Joe came back out the next afternoon, after another job, and did not like the original texture which he saw was "crackled". He tented off the repair area with a cardboard box, metal extension poles, plastic sheeting and a drop cloth to help contain the spatter from the popcorn texture gun. He scraped off the bad texture, applied a very thin coat of drywall putty/mud so the surface would be white underneath, then applied the new texture. Joe said he didn't want us to pay him until we were satisfied with the repair, and I was to call him after it was dry and let him know how it was. The texture did look much better once it dried, but there was a recessed, rectangular border, that looked grayer. When I called Joe and told him about it, he said it was probably from using the cardboard box, and he would come back out and go over it again. He wasn't able to come back out right away, which I told him was perfectly fine. He came back out a couple of weeks later and tented off the area again, without using the box, and went over the recessed area. It blended better, and Joe and I were both more satisfied with the result. I felt bad that he spent so much time and effort on a $150.00 job, but Joe insisted on us paying the amount he had quoted. He said he had learned how to do a popcorn texture repair with the popcorn texture gun, which he considered a useful tool to have, and he wanted the job done right, to his satisfaction and to ours. We appreciated Joe's dedication to customer service and would hire him again.
