"I had a company come out to do a water test and although I had already picked out a water system but hadn’t purchased it yet I thought I’d see what they had to offer. This company has a lot of good reviews and although i didn’t buy their water system I mentioned I’d be interested in having them install one I was planning on buying. I never received a call from them and I don’t care how many good reviews you have if you don’t call me after I request one I’m sure not calling you back. I thought I’d try another company that’s been around forever that starts with a r but after reading the reviews I reconsidered. Then I called another company with virtually the same name to do the work and was told I’d get a call back from a plumber but nope once again no call back. I then tried another company I used before and after almost a week before he comes out he looks at the job and I’m thinking he’s going to do the work that day but no he can’t do it till next week. I already had the water system by this time sitting in my basement about a week and thought I’d call Full Nelson Plumbing. The lady was courteous and said she’d call me between the hrs of 1130-1230 the following day which she did to let me know the plumber is on his way. The plumber James was polite put covers over his shoes which not all of them did looked at the job told me a approx cost which ended up being a little less than he quoted went to get the supplies came back and did the job in 2 hours. Let me save you some leg work by telling you I highly recommend this company which actually did the job the following day and sent out a actual plumber the first visit which most of them didn’t. These bigger companies have too much work to do or they don’t care.

"My June experience 2021 with Home Performance Group (HPG) was nothing less than remarkable. It began when Patrick came to my house to do a consultation regarding my 21-year-old air conditioner and furnace. Unlike any of the previous 3 companies that had stopped by, Patrick spent a fair amount of time measuring the entire house, to include every window, and he explained that these measurements help determine which system would be best suited for my house. When it came time to pick the system, he presented me with 4 options and did not try to “hard-sell” me on any of them. Rather, he showed me to pros and cons and while he made his own recommendation, it was up to me to decide. I ended up going with his recommendation anyway. He provided me with extensive documentation regarding the Carrier system I selected. Come installation day, Nick and George arrived with my air conditioner, coil, and furnace and even though it was pouring down rain, they went right to work, removing all the old equipment first and then installing the new equipment. I don’t even think they stopped to take lunch or a break. By the end of the day, I had a full operational system with everything up in running. In fact, they managed to tie my existing, manual controlled humidifier to the new system, something I wasn’t aware was possible, but they pulled it off. Both Nick and George were professionals and went out of their way to make sure no mud was tracked into the house. When it was time for them to leave, nothing was left behind for me to dispose of. The system I now have is so quiet, I honestly can’t tell it is running, besides the fact that the temp in the house is where is should be. My old system was so noisy I could hear it turn on from my 2nd floor bedroom. With the new carrier air conditioner, you could be standing next to it and not know if it was on or off. Also, I am afforded rebates from Carrier and Patrick had them submitted the day the work was completed. I already received an email from Carrier indicating my rebates were being processed. If you are considering this kind of work for a new air conditioner and/or furnace, I highly recommend calling Home Performance Group and get a consultation with Patrick lined up.

"Horrible Experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Paid for shipping both ways; the repair fee; and still could not correct my issue. The "warranty they offer" does not pay for their errors or shipping; therefore I had to pay MORE SHIPPING COSTS. The control board had exactly the same problem as it had prior to spending several hundred dollars with no fix. AVOID THIS PLACE!! Update: the owner contacted me and set an appointment for a technician for call me to trouble shoot the control board they "claimed" to have repaired; and guess what...…nobody called during my appointment time as promised by the owner of the company. The control board still does not work even after they claimed to have repaies it TWICE. The do not return messages sent through their electronic log or return phone calls. AVOID

"I have a Value Plan (paid each month), but the company said they would not or could not come service my pool pump any day or time because I didn't have coverage. I asked what that meant and apparently, if I don't pay extra every month, I can't have the company I already pay come to my house for this service; even if I'm willing to pay a service fee! Wow, I've called another company for this service and they may be my new HVAC company. I clearly don't understand the why here. I'm already their customer! The cost of retaining existing customers vs. aquiring a new one must not be a key metric for AB May.
