On 10/16, Abi Muthu, the salesperson, came to our house to discuss the job. She said that we would get 3 free hours on labor and the cost of the cell phone module and smoke detector were reasonable so we agreed to go with them(I even canceled two other appts. for quotes with other companies). She arranged the install for 10/25 between 9-12 am. On 10/23, I received call from ADT dispatch saying that the install would be on 10/24 between 12-2. Even though the day and time were different, I agreed. On 10/24, the installer, Robert, arrived and so there would be no free hours of labor. We both tried to call Abi with no luck. He left our house. On 10/24, Abi called and I explained what had happened about not getting any free labor time as she had promised. She said she would check with her manager and see what could be done. She said she would call me back by 10/27. 10/29, I had to call Abi since I hadn't received a callback from her. She said she would talk to her manager about what could be done. I asked that they simply honor the agreement. She said she would call back by noon and come to the house with a written agreement between 5:30 and 7pm that evening. 10/29, Abi called at 12:22 and said they would honor the 3 hours of free labor and she would bring the paperwork by the house at 5:45pm. 10/29, Abi arrived at house at 6:25(40 minutes late)with paperwork for 3 free hours and would give us a certificate for 2 months free monitoring at the completion of the job. 10/23, ADT dispatcher called with install window on 11/1 from 12-2. 11/1, Tony was suppose to do the install but didn't have the smoke detector and didn't arrive by the end of the window. 11/3, Abi called to say Robert would do the install and would have a smoke detector. 11/7, Corey arrived at 9:30am and said the job couldn't be done the way it I wanted it in spite of what Abi had said. I canceled the job. I am very dissatisfied with ADT and will not be using them nor recommending them to anyone else.
