"We have worked with Griffey Remodeling three times: a bathroom remodel, a kitchen remodel/add-on, and a new garage. Griffey Remodeling has never been the lowest bid, but we continue to work with them for several reasons: 1. They always completed the job at or under budget. 2. Their bid included everything to complete the job (no add-ons like paint, trim, etc.). 3. When there was an occasional miscommunication, changes were made to our satisfaction. 4. The final product is as good or better than we anticipated. Griffey Remodeling designs and picks out finishes based on preliminary conversations. However, we were also allowed the option to purchase the finishes ourselves. That was how we were able to come in below budget and had the ability to make our own finish selections. We had a different project manager each time, but Charlie Griffey is part of the process from beginning to end. In the end, the extra expense is well worth the price because there are no cost surprises, and the final product is first rate.

He created custom cabinets for our mudroom (including a cool shoe drawer), sourced and installed barn doors, and did some custom work on cabinets in our kitchen. He also had some great ideas on how to best utilize the limited space we had. He creates a quality product, takes pride in his craftsmanship and genuinely wanted us to be happy with the results. He's also just a nice person. We had gotten quotes from others on the mudroom cabinets and Jeff's was not only the best quote, but we also felt the most confident in his ability to produce a quality product. "Greg recently completed a major remodeling project of our second floor, which included the complete renovation of our two second floor full bathrooms, replacement of existing doors, and replacement of all of our trim in all bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallway. Greg also constructed framing and drywall, and a new powder room in our basement which connects our finished half of our basement to an unfinished half of the basement. The bathroom work involved moving walls and significant plumbing modifications due to the total reconfiguration of both bathrooms. We could not be more thrilled with our experience with Greg. His attention to detail and communication with us was second to none. We hired a separate design firm to prepare drawings and specifications for the project. There were a handful of issues that were design related that Greg would quickly coordinate with both the designer and ourselves to resolve the issues. Greg also replaced framing and drywall in our finished basement in 2016 which went as smoothly as this project. I will definitely be recommending Greg to others we know planning a future remodeling project!
