  From start to finish this was a seamless process. Was contacted by Preston 10 minutes after inquiring and got the ball rolling literally the next week. He was very hands on with making sure that what we wanted we got and in a timely manner. From start to finish it only took a little over a week and that’s with a couple of days of heavy rain.   Frank and his team of professionals were a pleasure to work with during the recent renovation of our deck and sunroom conversion. Decks are their specialty and the quality is in every detail, but the show stopper is the sunroom conversion. While working through the supply chain issues of the Summer, Frank and his team of professionals built a space for my family to grow and enjoy for many years to come. When we do sell, the sunroom will sell this house -- floor to ceiling windows on one side, fireplace with built-in desks, saved the tile floors to keep costs down, 15-foot accordion style door that opens onto a beautifully crafted deck. We love our sun-filled, family-friendly, new space. So in conclusion, would I hire Decks & More again? Emphatically, yes

  Ralf has done an outstanding job with our project. We are probably 95% complete at this point with just a few touchups to be done and my wife and I could not be any happier with the results. Ralf's craftmanship, attention to detail, knowledge and skills are second to none. Not only has he done an amazing job on our pergola, he has provided knowledge and recommendations on other projects as well. Beyond all of the work on the pergola, Ralf is just an all-around great guy which makes the entire project even better and more refreshing.   My wife and I wanted to get some badly needed work done on our house that we've been putting off for a while. That included trim replacement in the form of of fascia and window trim. We also needed a ton of work on our back porch to get rid of wood rot that was in large part due to the roofing on our back porch. Also, the gutters needed cleaning out, sealing, and we needed gutter guards added to them. And last but not least, we had the house repainted externally. Jamie and his crew were fantastic. He was very easy to work with and talk to about the work that needed to be done from the start. I had a lot of ideas myself, and he was able to steer me in the right direction with what needed to be done. That might sound unimportant, but I could have spent a lot more money doing things that really didn't need to be done in his estimation. His reasoning was sound, and I appreciated that. That spoke integrity to me from the start. A big winner in my mind. So, I would recommend Jamie and his crew 100% on that alone. When I got the estimate, I was pleasantly surprised at the bottom line. I believe his cost to be very reasonable, which again speaks volumes to me about that man I'm dealing with. They had a lot of work scheduled ahead of us. Jamie was up front and in communication with me every step of the way, and he kept me in the loop on what was happening from the beginning. Even with the rain that we had in October which was supposed to push things back (as it does with an outside job), he ended up squeezing us in at least a week ahead of time. The work was just as consistent and excellent as everything else that we experienced. He used quality materials (which he suggested during our walk around). They were here at 9am and worked until 6pm or later everyday. The crew was friendly, respectful, and worked hard. No loafing here. Jamie was here everyday - sometimes more than once per day - and went over things as they were done to insure the quality of the work. He took care of a few things that came up along the way too either by discovery or by request. They didn't even break stride. He even took care of some drywall work we needed that was added at the last minute due to a squirrel invading our MB wall (which we had to cut open). It looks like nothing ever happened. Jamie even came back to due a couple of small things that I didn't notice until after the work was completed. Those things actually turned out to be nothing wrong at all. However, Jamie went ahead and took care of those few little items just to help out. No sweat - no arguments - he came out and took care of that himself. I would HIGHLY recommend Jamie and his crew at Encompass Contracting for any work that you need done to your house. If we need any additional work I'll be calling Jamie in a second. I've recommended Jamie to multiple folks. He is very personable and a man of integrity. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Thank you so much for your hard work. My wife and I are so pleased, and we will definitely be able to get a good ROI on our investment with Jamie and Encompass Contracting

  I learned a very hard lesson working with this company. Never work with a contractor who is unwilling to pull permits. I hired R Contracting services based on the recommendation of a neighbor whom they did renovations for in the past. My project was to build a roof over my patio. When signing the contract, Renee was unwilling to pull a permit for the contract for the project, even though the roof was an addition to the house. I secured a permit under my name and thank God I did. The framing failed inspection due to no rafter straps, posts not being properly bolted and a post being cut differently than the other two without being properly secured. After they corrected those issues, they attempted to use water-damaged molded wood for the ceiling of the roof. When I told them it was unacceptable, their initial response was that they would “clean it” and put mold-resistant primer on the wood. I held firm because my son has Asthma. They eventually replaced the wood on the ceiling. The final straw was when they were finishing up and I had to notify them that a moved downspout was pointed towards a window. A two-week quoted project, ended up taking four. They were more concerned about getting paid than doing quality work or doing the project right the first time. -I would not recommend them to anyone

  I needed and wanted to convert my screen porch to a sunroom for a long time, but also wanted a deck. While I thought I would not be able to afford it, I took the plunge and had consultations with several general contractors, and some "friends of friends" who do this work as a side job. Renee at R Contracting Services was on time, very professional and personal. Her quote was very competitive, I felt like I could trust this team. They did the sunroom first, then added on a perfect deck. A few months ago I had them come out and paint the interior of the house to connect the sunroom colors to the rest of the house. A few months later, I called them back to paint the exterior of my home. They were always on time, went above and beyond for each project, and my husband and I are thrilled with the outcome. I have recommended them to several of my friends, and I highly recommend this company
