I am so pleased with the work completed. I love my new backyard! Although I wanted work done similar to that of a neighbor, Danny is extremely creative and built a special and unique backyard that far exceeded my expectations. He is an expert and very knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping and gardening.

Verdi does excellent work. They had done a beautiful job on the original installation of the hardscape and plantings in my backyard, and I'm very happy with the maintenance work that they do--makes the backyard look new again.

Michael Hotti was our design consultant and helped us explore everything we needed to make our new patio/walkway just what we wanted. William Cortney was our project manager, and I can attest to his very capable management of our entire project. He was very careful to communicate exactly what was happening, was available with answers to any questions and left nothing unfinished.One thing I really appreciated was that the project site was left very tidy at the end of each day, and very clean at the end of the project. After every other project, there is always a leftover few things that I have to clean up, such as mounds of dirt or scraps of wires etc. But every inch of the project site was clean and ready to use. For context, we hired System Pavers for work on our forever home. We spent about $80,000 on the project. We were not payed or compensated in anyway for this review. Because I've owned my own business for years, I felt compelled to right this review because good service and quality work, which exceeds expectations, deserves to be recognized. Let's be clear, System Pavers competes over quality and service, not price. Chrys Hoffman provided excellent design services. She made extra trips to ensure that we developed a vision that worked for me and my wife. Additionally, when there were scope changes, she made sure to call those out along with any additional charges. She gave us time between sessions to discuss and incubate our thoughts. When the project was completed the only surprises were good ones. System Pavers completed the project at the price we were expecting. System Pavers never nickle-and-dimed us. They were accommodating over any issues that were not adequately defined from the beginning. They also provided helpful suggestions that at times meant extra work for them. For example, on our side gate entrance, they recommend creating a cut-out to keep the garbage cans and allow a clear walkway into the backyard. They didn't even charge extra for that. They also extended our Pavers a few yards beyond the original plan to cover the cement which was demolished to make room trenching gas and electrical into an outdoor kitchen area. Nick Padilla, our project manager, went out of his way to help our dream come true. We had planned a 3-column basalt fountain. I was really attached to using a multi-colored fountain lights kit, embedded in the bore holes of the basalt columns to light up the water at night. However, when the fountain lights arrived, I discovered that the boreholes were about 1/2 inch to small to mount the lights flush with the tops of the columns. Nick had experience with stone masonry. He volunteered to help bore out the column holes an extra half inch at the top to make the fountain lights work. It worked. The fountains look fantastic at night! Nick made it happen for us. I've compared System Pavers' work to the work some of our neighbors completed with small independent contractors. It is easy for anyone to immediately see the difference in quality. Friends that have come to visit have commented on the excellent job System Pavers did with the pavers--friends in the contracting and construction business. One last thing. System Pavers remains focused on their core business, but they understand that completing a project often includes work that is not part of their core business. They referred a general contractor named Mohsen Esfahani who was very experienced and easy to work with. We could tell him what we wanted to do and he would suggest a variety of ways to do it--always starting with the least expensive options. He's pricing was very fair and his work was very good. If you are lucky, you will get Mohsen on your project also. Again, hats-off to Chrys Hoffman, Nick Padilla, Angel, Roberto, Mohsen, and the rest of the guys on the team.

Brad is a horticulturist and was extremely helpful as we decided what plants and trees to use that were drought resistant and inviting to butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Brad’s son, Dan, and worker Danny, were professional, efficient, and friendly. We had some changes and additions we decided to make as we watched the wonderful job they were doing, and they were most accommodating and provided some excellent suggestions. I would definitely use them again.

We had a great personalized experience with Tobias. He provided everything we needed to transform our backyard from design to installation. He listened to us and was very flexible. His crew works really hard. We get compliments on our backyard all of the time.

Carlos was great. We came up with a plan to demo my yard and he built a deck, pergola, created a patio and garden area and a lawn area. He helped with materials and did everything ahead of schedule by 2 weeks!! Highly recommend

We needed a complete overhaul of our backyard and hired Khiem and his crew for the project after meeting with several landscaping companies. Khiem was very professional, prompt to reply, and his crew finished the job earlier than what we had agreed to. The work that his crew did was very well done and we cannot be more pleased with our new outdoor space (artificial grass, planter box, new irrigation system and paver stones). We have already referred him to some of our friends who are looking for a landscaper and would absolutely work with him again!

We had a blank slate of a backyard and didn't know where to start. Tyrone is a true professional and a dream to work with. The ensemble of plants/trees and materials that he put together has made a wonderful oasis and extension of the house that we couldn't have dreamed of ourselves.

System Pavers ... Quality Work. When I first contacted System Pavers to get a quote, I was skeptical that I will be accepting their quote. They called me to setup an appointment and I reluctantly accepted the weekend appointment. Jonathan, the designer, showed up at the appointment and he spent good 2-3 hours with us that day. He was very patient, answered all the questions that we had and listened to our concerns and carefully took all of those into consideration and came up with a design that we really WANTED. As it happens all the time, this was no different and what you want is different that what you can afford. The project was going to cost us almost 50% more than our budget. Towards the end of the appointment we told him that it will not work out and asked for a week to tweak the design a little and get it in our price range. He called me a week later and the quote was still slightly above our budget with minor tweaks to the design, which was still very close to what we liked and we accepted it. There was NO SALES PRESSURE. Once the project was accepted, it was handed over to Lester the project manager. The first time I talked to him, I knew that I got a good project manager. He came in, marked up everything and before leaving he said that his company strives for delivering a quality product and he will not be happy if the customer wasn't happy. I have to say that he stuck with those words to the last day of the project. As with any construction project, things are never going to go as planned. There were some hiccups along the way and he resolved pretty much everything to my satisfaction. There were instances where he had to redo some work as I wasn't happy with it and even he wasn't happy with the quality, which probably would have been ok with other companies. I also like the way he cleaned up after the project was completed taking care of some of the things which I didn't expect his crew to take care of. All I have to say is "The Quality of the product delivered by System Pavers exceeded my expectations". I will be more than happy to hire them for any future projects.

From my recent large landscaping project, I can attest that Appius Pavers is an excellent choice. They put in a new lawn in the backyard and it is beautiful. I think they were a little expensive, but, I was satisfied with the work.

I recently hired Black Diamond to redo the pavers in my backyard. When I bought the house, the previous owners used three different stone materials/patterns which didn't mesh and which looked very dated. The project manager and designer for BD was Michael Martinez. I had two other bids for the job but ended up going with Michael because he was head and shoulders above the other two company reps (BD was the high bidder but you usually get what you pay for right). His explanation of the project was very detailed and well thought out. He provided several completed projects close to my house that I could visit to see BD's quality workmanship firsthand. The project was completed on time and on budget. The communication from Michael throughout the process was excellent with all questions fully answered in a timely fashion. Most importantly, there was a drainage problem in one area after project completion which was addressed and remedied quickly. I was then assured by Michael that if any future issues arose, they would be handled in the same manner. I would strongly recommend BD, and Michael in particular, for any hardscape project you may have.
