Although it took awhile for our work to begin we were kept informed by Ben and Steve of approximate start dates and any delays because of weather or materials. The work was done to our expectations, carefully supervised by Steve, and the workers kept the area clean when not working

    Our front steps were sinking and there were loose bricks on the corner of the top step, in addition to a big gap between the sidewalk and next steps. The Capital Masonry team redid the whole thing in a day and a half, and then came back once everything was set/dry to clean it all off. It looks beautiful - and is no longer a hazard

    Jeff was super responsive. He took his time to explain what would be done and was enthusiastic about the work to be done. This was a vastly different experience than we had with other companies. The front walkway turned out better than we had envisioned. The driveway looks great. Our patio turned out really well, and the firepit is a centerpiece. Everyone marvels at the masonry work. Looking forward to enjoying for years to come

    This is the second time I have used and reviewed Mottern Masonry in 7 years and I still stand by my “5 Star” rating. The first time I called Jeff was to replace both our ugly driveway and walkway concrete slabs with a nice brick herringbone pattern to match our existing front porch brick staircase. The result was beautiful and 7 years later everything still looks like brand new! My tenant who can be a little bit demanding and picky at times is also very pleased by the results and often gets compliments from neighbors and passersby. This time I called them to re-point our old existing front porch brick staircase and once again they did a very nice job. Each time has been a breeze to work with them. I have been posted overseas for the past 12 years and my house has been rented since then. Therefore, all my interactions with any contractor have to be exclusively either over the phone or by email/texts. Their professionalism made the experience stress-free for me. I mostly interacted with Guy at the office who is super responsive, courteous, and accommodating. And it literally took only a week from my initial phone call to the completion of the project. No grass growing under their feet

    Simply outstanding work. Many other people in our neighborhood have also upgraded their cement slab walkways to brick, but none look as good as ours in terms of quality, design, and craftsmanship. The initial design meeting was great- we were offered several different options at varying prices with no pressure at all to pick a more expensive one. We decided on a herringbone pattern with flairs on each end- a bit more expensive than the other options, but we are glad we did. The before and after images speak for themselves. It's amazing how much curb appeal this upgrade adds. The Mottern crew really did everything right- from putting in a strong base with rebar below the bricks to matching the bricks to our home perfectly. They also meticulously repaired the damaged bricks on our stairs and over our garage. True craftsman, we could not be happier with the work Mottern did and highly recommend them
